Ryan Reynolds Offering 30% of Aviation Gin Online Sales To Tip Bartenders. COVID-19 is not slowing down actor and business man Ryan Reynolds! The Deadpool actor has been making heavy strides to help folks who are down on their luck during the coronavirus pandemic and is helping yet another set of people that have been offset by the virus.
Reynolds is the owner of Aviation Gin and is looking to help bartenders who have been furloughed or laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic by offering 30% of all online sales to the United States Bartender’s Guild from now up until May 1, 2020.
“Until May 1st, for every bottle of Aviation ordered online, we’ll donate 30% of proceeds as a tip to your bartenders – who REALLY miss you btw. Visit http://AviationGin.com/delivered #TipYourBartenders #StayHomeSaveLives,” Reynolds shared via Twitter.

Aviation Gin also shared that the company has already “started a tab” of $15,000 that will be combined with the promised 30% of sales up til May 1st. “We’re available at home – where we hope you are right now – but your bartenders miss you. So we’ve started a tab by donating $15K to the United States Bartender’s Guild and will be adding an additional 30% tip for every bottle delivered through May 1st.”
This is not the first stride Reynolds has taken to help folks out during this trying time. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are working hard to help with relief efforts for those who are dealing with the ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic. Both Ryan and Blake have decided to donate $1 Million that will be split between charities Feeding Americaand Food Banks Canada to help aid low income families and elderly citizens of the USA and Canada who may not have access to fresh nutritious foods during the coming weeks of quarantine.
Ryan is also the new owner of Mint Mobile and shared an important update with current and new customers. The announcement says:
“The last few days have thrown the world into an unprecedented moment of uncertainty where reliable communication is of the utmost importance. Today through 4-14, we will be providing all current & new customers with free unlimited high-speed data add ons.”
We are glad to see celebrities and companies stepping up to help during this time of uncertainty and love that it is coming in many forms. Some are donating to charity like Ryan and Blake, Disney is donating all the unused food from it’s parks and resorts to Second Harvest Food Bank to help support their communities, others still aiming to entertain fans despite not being able to record in studios or on set like Josh Gad who is reading bedtime stories to kids via his Twitter account. It is just so heartwarming to see folks rallying together to help everyone get through this rough season.
What are some of your favorite stories of hope coming out of this pandemic? We would love to hear about them in the comments! Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for all things Disney related.
