We recently announced that Disney World park hours will be reduced beginning September 8, 2020. Due to the shorter park hours, some dining reservations will be canceled. However, there is a rumor that select dining locations will stay open an hour after park closing.
Here are the updated park hours starting in September:
- Magic Kingdom Park: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- EPCOT: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
And the following restaurants are rumored to be staying open after the parks have closed:
- Be Our Guest (open until 7 p.m.)
- Liberty Tree Tavern (open until 7 p.m.)
- 50s Prime Time Cafe (open until 8 p.m.)
- Oga’s Cantina (open until 8 p.m.)
- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater (open until 8 p.m.)
Having some restaurants open past closing time would give guests more time to experience other areas in the parks before closing while still being able to enjoy their favorite restaurant.
This has not been officially confirmed by Disney so it is just a rumor at this time. We will continue to update as more information is made available.
