Enjoy the magic without leaving your Disney World hotel room with these virtual fireworks!
Technology has been a key part of the reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, introducing Disney Park Pass and taking advantage of mobile order and contactless payment options.
But the magic doesn’t stop there, now guests staying at a Walt Disney World hotel, can enjoy the nighttime spectacular “Happily Ever After” from the comfort of their room. So after a fun day at the parks, come back, get some snacks and enjoy the show!
Other ways Disney is using technology in order to keep everyone safe is with the My Disney Experience app. Now you have the option to check-in online and skip the front desk! Once your room is ready, you’ll receive a notification on your phone and can use your MagicBand or digital key.
In case you didn’t know, the digital key is a service that turns any bluetooth enabled phone into a key! So if you forget your MagicBand, no worries! Your phone will save you and it works with room doors, hotel entrance gates and any other common area doors that require a key.
Another cool feature on the My Disney Experience app, is that it allows you to chat with a resort cast member at nearly anytime so there’s no need to visit the lobby or stand in line.
So next time you stay at a Walt Disney World hotel, make sure to take advantage of the technology they offer!
