Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios has been down all of 2021 so far

The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios has been down all of 2021 so far (I know it’s only been 4 days). Guests started to report back on January 1st that the ride closed and each day we have been checking to see if is back up with no such luck…

According to the Disney World App beginning on January 1st running through today, January 4th, the attraction has been listed as “temporarily closed.”

What is strange is that the Disney Website website still shows the ride as open with hours listed.

Disney World filed a permit back in December for General Construction on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster which leads me to believe that is why the ride is down right now. We are uncertain what General Construction means, it could be anything from changing out parts to clean up and repair.

Typically Disney would put a ride under refurbishment on the Disney World website but nothing is listed for Hollywood Studios at this time.
