Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to Expand Pool Area
Get ready for even more fun in the sun at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area is set to undergo an exciting expansion.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the expansion will significantly enhance the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area, effectively doubling its size with the addition of a new zero-entry pool and deck. Beyond the aquatic fun, the resort is also adding a tennis court and two pickleball courts to its recreational offerings.
The Walt Disney World website confirms that construction near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool began last month. Guests should note that both the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool will remain open throughout the duration of the work.
Adjacent to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, the Disney Lakeshore Lodge is also currently under construction. This upcoming Disney Vacation Club resort is rumored to feature an extensive pool area, potentially including a lazy river.
