Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland closing for lengthy refurbishment

Disneyland‘s Pirates of the Caribbean is closing on March 14, 2022, for a lengthy refurbishment. If you are visiting the resort this month and want to experience Pirates of the Caribbean, you only have a couple of days left.

The fan-favorite attraction will be closed for months. There is no set reopening date but the Disneyland website says the ride is expected to reopen “early summer 2022.”

Pirates of the Caribbean has been around since 1967. The attraction takes guests on a swashbuckling cruise through seas plagued by scoundrels. It has been updated and even had scenes added and changed over the years. Now the time has come for some maintenance.
