Starting with park visits on Jan. 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. You heard that right! When getting a ticket, simply select a start date for Jan. 9, 2024 or later, complete the purchase and you will be all set! For reference, date-based tickets are the standard ticket option Disney offers to guests. For other admission types, including non-dated tickets, theme park reservations may be required to help Disney continue managing attendance and delivering a great experience for everyone.
Park Pass Reservations were first introduced when the parks reopened after the Covid-19 closure. Many guests have been frustrated with having to decide on their plans in advance and not have the opportunity to be spontaneous. Next year, they can do just that!

“Time to eat! Disney dining plans will be coming back as an option for those staying at Disney Resort hotels who purchase a vacation package with us starting with stays beginning Jan. 9, 2024, which will also open for bookings on May 31.
We know our guests – and families in particular – have missed dining plans, which offer guests the convenience and peace of mind of pre-paying for their meals and snacks.
Guests will be able to choose from two popular options: Packages that include either the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan. Both plans will be a great value for families with young children with access to many spectacular food and beverage offerings across Walt Disney World.”

The new AdventHealth ER at Flamingo Crossings Town Center will open this summer
The new AdventHealth ER at Flamingo Crossings Town Center, first announced in 2021, is slated to open this summer. Concept art, shared on Twitter by Ashley Carter (digital journalist with mynews13), demonstrate the Disney touches that will adorn the inside of the new ER.
The new AdventHealth ER will be conveniently located near Disney World and the Disney College Program housing, making it easily accessible for tourists, cast members and local residents.
AdventHealth ER at Flamingo Crossings Town Center is set to open this summer. Located near Disney World, the full-service emergency room will provide emergency care to Central Florida visitors and residents including Disney cast members.
When open, the ER will be staffed by a comprehensive clinical team, including board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses. AdventHealth notes “the ER’s design will be unique in the AdventHealth network, with Key West influenced architecture, advanced team member training and Disney-inspired touches to enhance the patient experience.”

New Star Wars Pandora Charms Spotted At Disney Springs!

The first charm features R2-D2 on one side and BB-8 on the other with a black background, then we have one with Grogu and his name on the back and the last one is silver with Princess Leia silhouette and “Women of the Galaxy” text, on the opposite side it says “The Force Is With Us,” all of these designs are dangling charms.

Refurbishments on the stand, undertaken to allow the stand to reflect the aesthetics of the World Discovery neighborhood, have been completed.
Snacks, including Mickey Pretzels and Popcorn, are available at the stand along with soft drinks. Guests can also pick up the new 100th-anniversary popcorn bucket.
Re-theming this popcorn stand is part of the ongoing re-imagining of EPCOT, which includes transforming the current Future World section of the park into three neighborhoods: World Discovery, World Nature, and World Celebration.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Box Office Numbers for Opening Weekend
James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 brought home a cool $114 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend taking out The Super Mario Brothers Movie.
Disney and Marvel Studio’s “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3” tallied another $168.1 million from international markets over the weekend, bringing its total global haul to $282.1 million during its first three days in theaters.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is performing well with critics, earning an 81% “Certified Fresh” score on Rotten Tomatoes. You can read our official movie review here.

The Muppets Crash the Coronation Concert for King Charles III in London
The Muppets Kermit and Miss Piggy were able to attend the Coronation Concert for King Charles III in London. They shared the news on their social media that they were in attendance.
Today, @kermitthefrog and @realmisspiggy attended the #CoronationConcert for King Charles III in London. Thanks to the Royal Family for inviting them and to @bonhughbon for putting up with them!
However Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog surprised crowds when they crashed host Hugh Bonneville’s segment while they were looking for their seats at the Sunday night concert on the East Lawn of Windsor Castle.
Needless to say, Miss Piggy is now engaged to Lord Bonneville and Kermit is frustrated as always.

Little Mermaid Expected to have HUGE Opening Weekend Box Office Disney’s latest film has yet to be released, but the studio has high expectations regarding box office predictions. The film landed on tracking and is looking at a 110 million dollar expectation for the four-day weekend. When it comes to Memorial Day weekend, it will have to do much better than 110 million to top last year’s box office king, Top Gun: Maverick, which took in 165 million in the same weekend.
