New Tiana Photo Wall at Disneyland Outside of Splash Mountain
Splash Mountain at Disneyland has closed to begin its transformation. Construction walls have gone up including a new Tiana photo wall around the attraction! The ride is being re-imagined into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The construction walls are brown and feature the logo of “Tiana’s Foods” which is part of the new ride’s storyline. Tiana’s Foods is an employee-owned cooperative. Combining her talents with those of the local community, Tiana has transformed an aging salt mine and built a beloved brand.
The endeavor began when Tiana purchased the salt mine and the area surrounding the large salt dome it operated from. With the help of her mother Eudora, Naveen, Louis and fellow owners of the cooperative, Tiana revived the old salt mine and the surrounding land, growing a wide array of vegetables, herbs and spices for her recipes.
This multi-faceted enterprise has turned the aging salt mine into a space that has come alive. Complete with a boutique farm and both a working and teaching kitchen, Tiana’s Foods is where Tiana and her colleagues create all sorts of new products that they are bringing to the world, including a line of original hot sauces.
Tiana wants to give a big thanks to her family and friends and the entire community for all the support they’ve given her by throwing an amazing party during Mardi Gras season. When it turns out there’s been a bit of a mix-up with the party preparations, Tiana invites us to meet her at Tiana’s Foods to help with the missing ingredient for the party.
When we arrive, we may see that Tiana spruced up the company’s facilities with vibrant art from local artists. Food for the party is being prepared and beignets are being loaded into crates for the celebration. All kinds of preparations are underway for the journey into the bayou with Tiana, along with new and familiar friends from the animated film.
Picking up where that story left off, Tiana continues bringing people together with Tiana’s Foods, another treasured meeting place to spend time together and celebrate a diverse community. Tiana is also working with cooperative members to teach gardening and cooking to children of all ages, and inspiring other women to run successful businesses as the brand grows nationwide.
Along with the logos, there’s also a wall featuring Louis, the alligator from ‘The Princess & the Frog’. He’s playing his trumpet and music notes invite guests to “Come join the party!” Guests can join the parade and pose in front of the umbrella or one of the other instruments for a fun photo!

There are two versions of the ride to choose from: Orange Mission and Green Mission. Orange is more intense while Green is less intense but still exhilarating.
Orange Mission
Hurtle through space on an out-of-this-world experience thrill-seekers will love. The Orange Mission uses a centrifuge that spins and tilts to simulate the speed and G-forces of a spacecraft launch and reentry. Orange Mission offers astronauts 44” and taller a more intense experience.
Guests who wish to experience the Orange Mission should be in good health and free of high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride either Mission.
Green Mission
Take flight on a family-friendly adventure that’s sure to excite. The Green Mission offers a gentler, more family-friendly adventure for space explorers 40” and taller. It uses a motion simulator that offers light movement and doesn’t spin—so it’s less likely to cause motion sickness.
This experience is optimal for those prone to motion sickness or uncertain about which level to choose. Expectant mothers should not ride either mission. Do you enjoy Mission SPACE?

First Look at Frozen Ever After at Hong Kong Disneyland
Disney has shared a first look at Frozen Ever After at Hong Kong Disneyland! The attraction is the anchor of the new World of Frozen area of the park opening later this year.
Disney shared this first look after another round of test rides had been completed by Walt Disney Imagineering! Before reaching the royal deck for a boat ride to Elsa’s palace, guests will pass the office of Kristoff, who’s now the Official Ice Master & Deliverer of Arendelle.
This version of Frozen Ever After will be almost exactly the same as the Epcot version. The main difference will be the replacement of screen face-based Audio-Animatronic figures with physical faces.
Hong Kong Disneyland President Michael Moriarty shared a video on Instagram of Cast Members taking a test ride on the attraction.
We can’t wait to see the finished attraction as well as the finished World of Frozen when it opens in November! (We also hope Epcot’s version gets updated with the new audio-animatronics).

Disney’s Live-Action Snow White release date revealed
Disney’s live-action Snow White will be arriving in theaters in 2024.
Guests at the D23 Expo last year received a sneak peek of the new Snow White Live-Action Movie, unfortunately, the trailer has not been dropped online yet. The movie will premiere on March 22nd, 2024.
“It was very different from everything I’ve ever done before,” Gadot said of playing the Evil Queen. “I’m used to playing the other end.
The remake currently stars Rachel Zegler (Snow White), Gal Gadot (The Evil Queen), and Andrew Burnap (unspecified role as the male lead opposite of Snow White). The new film will be produced by Marc Platt, and directed by Marc Webb, with new music and reimagined renditions by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La, La, Land, The Greatest Showman, Dear Evan Hansen).
