At the Walt Disney World Resort, the Fourth of July is a time of patriotic fervor and exuberant celebrations. Embracing the rich heritage and profound love for America, the resort commemorates this special holiday with star-spangled spectaculars that reflect the visionary spirit of Walt Disney himself. As part of the festivities, on July 4, 2023, the U.S. Air Force conducted a remarkable flyover of the Magic Kingdom.
A squadron of F-35 stealth fighter jets from the renowned 33rd Fighter Wing took to the skies, making two breathtaking passes over the iconic theme park. To mark the centennial anniversary of the Air Force’s aerial refueling capabilities, the flyover also featured a KC-135 tanker, symbolizing a century of service and innovation.

Fourth of July Fireworks Returning to Walt Disney World. According to the Disney Daily Calander, the days and times are now available for all the see. Get ready to Celebrate America at both Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Epcot on July 3rd, and 4th. 2023 at 9:20 PM.
Prepare for patriotism at its finest when Walt Disney World Resort commemorates Independence Day in the skies above EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park!
The final Splash Mountain pressed penny machine has been removed from the area near the attraction. Previously, there were two penny machines but one was removed in March. The remaining machine was moved from inside Splashdown Photos to near the restrooms behind the Frontierland train station.
The last machine offered two Splash Mountain designs and one 50th anniversary design. Mickey & friends were featured on one of the Splash Mountain designs while the other showed Br’er Bear, Br’er Rabbit, and Br’er Fox.
The ride is currently under construction as it transforms into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The new ride is set to open in late 2024.

An Indiana Jones meet & greet has been spotted in Disneyland! To celebrate the release of the new film, Indiana Jones & the Dial of Destiny, guests can meet Indiana Jones in Disneyland park.
There is no set time or schedule for meeting Indiana Jones or a specific meeting location but guests can see him roaming around Adventureland throughout the day. He will also sometimes enter the queue for Indiana Jones Adventure and chat with guests. Guests can also see him hanging out above the Jungle Cruise queue.
Indy is dressed in his traditional adventurer outfit complete with his iconic whip and hat. He also carries a notebook and tapestry around with him and asks guests to help him decipher the clues on each.
This Indiana Jones meet and greet will be around for a limited time but we don’t know an exact date that it will end. If you want to meet the famous adventurer, head over to Disneyland soon!
