We have new details of the all new Evermore Orlando Resort, which will be located right next-door to Walt Disney World!
Guests visiting Walt Disney World resort in 2024 will have an amazing new resort to choose from. Evermore Orlando Resort, which will feature 2013 bedrooms throughout 69 houses ranging in size from five to eleven bedrooms; 206 four-bedroom flats; and 41 two- and four-bedroom villas. The resort, which will open to guests on January 1, 2024, is located right next door to Walt Disney World Resort and close to both Universal Orlando Resort and Orlando International Airport.
According to Evermore, the resort debut “marks the introduction of a groundbreaking resort category with purposefully crafted luxury vacation rentals that redefines the guest experience.” The resort offers the convenience of renting an entire home with the amenities and services traditionally associated with luxury resorts. The opening will also debut Orlando’s first Conrad Hotel, Hilton’s luxury brand, featuring 433 contemporary-styled guest room accommodations, including 51 suites, 10 spacious family suites, and the Conrad Spa with an outdoor water garden.
Evermore Orlando Resort guests will enjoy a wide array of amenities, including a 20-acre tropical beach complex, an 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons, 15 restaurants, bars and food markets, two 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses, and more.

The 50th Anniversary Medallions on the golden statues at Walt Disney World have been replaced by new white medallions
Disney installed 50 golden statues, known as the Fab 50 Character Collection, across the 4 theme parks at the Walt Disney World resort as part of the recent 50th anniversary celebrations. Now that the 50th anniversary has passed, the 50th anniversary medallions have been removed from the golden statues and replaced by all-new white medallions.
The white medallions have been installed on each statue, with the white coloring of the medallions popping on the golden statue. The color of these new medallions is much more noticeable than the 50th anniversary medallions, which were gold and blended in with the statue.
The logo on each medallion matches each character the medallion is associated with, providing a bit of customization to each Fab 50 character.

Over 700 families of fallen U.S. Military Service Members were recently hosted at Walt Disney World Resort by Disney and the Gary Sinise Foundation
This week, Disney welcomed over 700 families of fallen military heroes to the annual Gary Sinise Foundation “Snowball Express” event at Walt Disney World. Disney, known for its long-standing support of the U.S. military community, proudly hosts these families from over 80 cities across the nation and abroad.
The Gary Sinese Foundation notes the Snowball Express is a ” five-day experience for 1,750+ children of the fallen and the surviving spouse/guardian. With special time to honor their fallen and a blend of fun entertainment and inspiring programs, these families can lean on their peers for support.”
A highlight of this five-day retreat, which kicked off on December 2, is the “Walk of Gratitude” at Magic Kingdom Park, an event eagerly supported by Disney cast members. In the early hours, before dawn, over 1,100 Disney VoluntEARS gathered to honor the families as they walked towards Cinderella Castle in a moving celebration of their fallen loved ones. Sinese noted “While our hearts are heavy at the circumstances that brought these families together, I am grateful we can wrap our arms around them, that we can honor them while remembering their loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of freedom,”
Disney will host a second week of the Snowball Express event from Dec. 9-13. This second week will honor over 350 families of fallen first responders, recognizing their immense contributions to our communities.

Disney fans widely praise Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs as a resort that carries a deluxe feel at a moderate price point. The tower is expansive and elegant, and a stay there is always high on our Disney must-do list. The resort looks even more magical during this time of year, as the Christmas decorations have been installed!
The massive tree in the lobby provides a great holiday focal point, especially when you look down on it from the check-in area. There are also Christmas wreaths and lights situated around the lobby and work areas, adding a great holiday feel and atmosphere to the entire resort.
The tree at Gran Destino Tower is even more impressive up close. The decorations fit in well with the theme of the resort, and the massive tree looks like it was plucked out of a holiday movie.

New Star Wars Fireworks Experience Coming to Disneyland
A new Star Wars fireworks experience is coming to Disneyland during Season of the Force next year! Guests can experience new and returning Star Wars experiences from April 5 through June 2, 2024.
Season of the Force arrives at Disneyland park with Hyperspace Mountain and specially themed food and beverage, merchandise and more for a limited time. Debuting during the celebration, you’ll be able to embark on new adventures aboard Star Tours – The Adventures Continue.
Guests can already see the fireworks from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. During Season of the Force the area will provide fresh perspective on the fireworks above Disneyland park, with galactic music sweeping through the spires.

Huge Christmas Tree is Now Up at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
The giant Christmas tree is now up in the lobby at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! Along with the large gingerbread house, the tree makes the Grand Floridian one of our favorite spots to visit during the holidays.
Reaching a height of almost 40 feet, the Christmas tree situated at the Grand Floridian stands as one of Disney World’s most expansive indoor holiday trees. The assembly of this tree is a captivating overnight spectacle orchestrated by what some visitors playfully dub as “Santa’s Elves.” Beyond being an impressive structure, this Christmas tree serves as a narrative work of art. It is adorned with ornaments and decorations that intricately depict the gifts from “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
Alongside the towering tree, the expansive lobby showcases additional Christmas decorations inspired by the Victorian era. Vibrant red poinsettias embellish the trees, contributing to the festive atmosphere. Disneyland After Dark Nites are returning in 2024, now with more event nights! Guest-favorites like Sweethearts’ Nite and Star Wars Nite will be returning along with a new Disney Channel Nite! Events take place on select nights January through June 2024.
Disneyland After Dark events are separately-ticketed, themed evenings that include after-hours theme park and ride access (often with less wait times!), unique entertainment, beloved and sometimes rare character appearances, specialty food, beverage, and merchandise offerings, and so much more!
Each Disneyland After Dark event begins with a three-hour pre-party mix-in at Disneyland park from 6 to 9 p.m. PT before the party officially begins. In addition to all the themed fun brought to life just for the party, your admission also includes commemorative keepsakes such as a souvenir credential and an event guide map, plus unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken throughout the party, which is a great way for you to capture treasured memories.

Hulu on Disney+ Rolls Out Beta Version to Bundle Subscribers Today
Are you a devoted fan of Loki on Disney+ and The Bear on Hulu? Well, get ready for a seamless streaming experience as two of the most beloved series will soon be available within one app.
The beta version of Hulu on Disney+ is making its debut for Bundle subscribers today, with plans for an official launch in the spring. This development marks an exciting progression in Disney’s streaming ventures.
To delve into the details, we had a conversation with Joe Earley, Disney Entertainment’s President of Direct-to-Consumer, to discuss the rollout, the appearance of Hulu on Disney+, and the future prospects for Disney streaming.
Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of what you need to know:
What is Hulu on Disney+?
Commencing today, Bundle subscribers can anticipate the Hulu tile to join the existing array of tiles for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic when they access their Disney+ app.
Clicking on the Hulu tile will take subscribers to a Hulu Hub, where they’ll be able to choose from thousands of movies and series from Hulu’s library for playback via Disney+. They will have access to extensive Hulu content, including award-winning Originals, next day TV, and a huge library, right there, inside Disney+ without the friction of navigating from one app to another.
Why is this being called the “beta” phase? When will the official launch happen?
What Bundle subscribers will see today is a limited beta version, with the official launch slated for March 2024.
“It’s an exciting next step for Direct-to-Consumer, but it’s important that people have managed expectations about what the experience is going to be,” Earley said.
The beta version is intended to help Disney better understand the consumer’s needs and wants when it comes to Hulu on Disney+ before it officially launches in the spring. It will also give parents time to set up controls that make sure everyone in their household is watching what’s appropriate for them.
But wait, will Hulu’s series and films that are more geared toward adults conflict with the more family-friendly Disney+ brand?
No, according to Earley, who explained that the company has already seen great success outside of the United States where Disney’s classic and general entertainment titles exist in one app.
He underscored that one of the company’s top priorities is ensuring Disney+ remains a safe space for families. And that the two-step launch approach will allow Bundle subscribers with a Disney+ subscription to explore Hulu content and give Disney+ subscribers time to adjust parental controls and establish profiles for the entire family, if they don’t already exist.
“There are a few reasons why we think this is going to be an exciting new experience for our subscribers,” Earley said. “Even before the launch of Disney+, research was very clear that consumers want ‘kid time,’ ‘we time,’ and ‘me time.’ I want incredible stuff for my kids, I want to watch things as a family, and then I want to put the kids to bed and watch things that are more adult in nature.”
What does Disney want to accomplish with Hulu on Disney+?
Earley hopes that this integration continues Disney’s commitment to putting subscribers first and creating a seamless viewing experience for all. He also hopes it will drive deeper engagement and discoverability by having more content available in one place.
“It’s an unbelievable value in terms of the price point for the Bundle, to get all this content in one place,” he said. “Beyond unlocking that experience for our existing Bundle subscribers, our hope is to inspire Disney+ and Hulu standalone subscribers to upgrade to the Bundle as well, once they see everything that can be accessed.”
Will Disney+ and Hulu still be available as standalone apps?
Yes. This is not a replacement for standalone Hulu or Disney+ – both will still be available as separate offerings. Hulu + Live TV and Premium add ons will still only be available within the Hulu app, along with the full Hulu SVOD content library.
What does this mean for Disney’s streaming strategy overall?
“The road to get there requires that we optimize what we have now in terms of content, marketing and user experience, and then monetize it in the best way possible,” he said. He also noted that continuing to innovate is important for the platforms to stay competitive.
“One of the things that Hulu on Disney+ is going to achieve is it’s going to increase engagement, which reduces churn,” Earley added. “When someone goes into Disney+ they have this enormous other world to access and I think that people are going to discover content they never even realized was on Hulu.”
What else should consumers know about the Hulu on Disney+ beta roll out?
“I hope consumers realize that one Bundle subscription — which is competitively priced — can unlock the incredible original content, the blockbuster films that come from all our studios, and a 100 years’ worth of stories from Disney+,” Earley said. “Not to mention the amazing titles that come from Hulu Originals, FX, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight, and all of our amazing partners.”
