Walt Disney World is now serving up Chicken Stuffed Mickey Waffles
An order of Mickey Waffles is always on my must-do list for every Walt Disney World vacation. Disney has just upped the Mickey Waffle game by providing a new (yet old) Chicken and Waffle twist on this fan-favorite food by creating Chicken Stuffed Mickey Waffles.
These delightful treats can be found at Rix Sports Bar and Grill, located at Disney’s Coronado Springs resort. The waffles are described on the menu as ‘Four mickey waffles stuffed with chicken tenders & maple syrup, Served with herb butter house potatoes’.
An order of the waffles will set you back $18. We found them to be delicious and well worth the money! Your traditional Mickey Waffle is stuffed with delicious breaded chicken breast. When paired with the Maple syrup, you have the perfect Sweet and Savory combination.
Rix is reportedly working on expanding the Syrup offerings just in time for the start of the NFL regular season, with Bourbon Maple and Hot Honey flavored syrups currently in the works.

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte Returns for Its 20th Year TODAY!
The re-emergence of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) heralds the unofficial commencement of autumn for countless patrons. Since its debut in 2003, spanning two decades, this iconic concoction has woven its influence into the tapestry of the coffee industry and pop culture, leaving an indelible mark that transcends various realms.
Commencing on Thursday, August 24, the Starbucks fall menu will resurface, inviting customers to join in commemorating the beverage’s 20th anniversary with that inaugural sip of PSL. This seasonal array further boasts a pair of novel offerings: the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte, along with the addition of the delectable Baked Apple Croissant. Returning to satiate cravings are much-loved favorites like the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, and the endearing Owl Cake Pop. A confluence of fall-inspired sustenance and beverages will be available for a limited period, extending as long as supplies endure.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is Starbucks most popular seasonal beverage and is enjoyed by customers around the world. The handcrafted beverage combines Starbucks Signature Espresso and steamed milk with the celebrated flavor combination of real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices, the PSL is available hot, iced or blended.
New this year is the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte, a beverage that was inspired by a popular customer and barista customization. This creamy chai tea latte pairs a rich blend of spiced chai notes with pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice.
“We’re excited to celebrate the creativity of our baristas and customers by offering the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte on the official fall menu. Falling for apple crisp
Joining the fall lineup this year is the new Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, which combines Starbucks® Blonde Espresso with notes of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar, shaken together and topped with oatmilk for a smooth and balanced sip that is full of fall flavor.
“The warm, gooey taste of apple crisp paired with a cup of coffee meld perfectly to unveil a cozy beverage customers have come to know and love at Starbucks each fall. The new Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso features creamy oatmilk that perfectly complements the light roast flavors of Starbucks® Blonde Espresso,” said Starbucks beverage developer Billy Altieri.
Customers can also enjoy the returning Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, featuring layered flavors of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar combined with a spiced apple drizzle to create a delicious, fall flavored espresso beverage available hot, iced and blended.

The new Baked Apple Croissant is made with layers of croissant dough wrapped around a warm apple filling, topped with sugar and baked to a golden finish.
For the first time, Starbucks Reserve locations in the U.S. will introduce the Starbucks Reserve® Pumpkin Spice Latte, and a full fall menu, including the new Pumpkin Spice Whiskey Barrel-Aged Iced Latte and Pumpkin Spice EspressoMartini. New artisanal Princi bakery items include a Pumpkin Maritozzo and Pumpkin Spice Cake.

Grand Floridian Refurbishment is continuing full steam ahead
The much-needed updates to the Grand Floridan are continuing on full-steam ahead, with a refreshment to the interior areas that overlook the main lobby currently underway.
The floor continues to be covered in plywood for protection. Additional work on the ground-floor lobby area has not yet started.
Most of the lobby has been overtaken by the construction walls and plywood flooring, with lobby seating only available on the outskirts.
The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, and Disney is renovating the resort to restore its status as the flagship resort at Walt Disney World. Guest rooms and the exterior of the buildings have been refreshed, and the lobby will soon undergo a much-needed update.
