Yo ho, yo ho, more Pirates of the Caribbean products for us! We recently spotted more items like pins, a bandana and baseball cap at Magic Kingdom, they are perfect to channel your inner pirate everywhere you go, take a look:
First we found three different pin designs featuring Scrooge McDuck as a treasure hoarding pirate, the iconic three pirates scene trying to get the keys from the dog in the attraction and a Mickey Mouse pirate. They are all a must have in your collection!
Channel your inner pirate with this fun yellow and red bandana featuring an all over pattern of the Pirates of the Caribbean logo, Mickey Mouse pirate and other icons from the attraction. You can get it for $11.99 at Plaza del Sol Caribe in Adventureland.
Finally, a Pirates of the Caribbean baseball cap can be yours for $29.99. It features a green and brown plaid pattern on the front with a pirate Mickey Mouse and attraction logo, the rest of the hat is black with a little blue skull embroidery on the side.

The exterior of Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom is getting a refresh
It appears Disney is working on refreshing the exterior of Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom. During a recent visit, we noticed some brown scrim on the exterior of the restaurant on the side facing Fantasyland.
Other than the scrim, we did not notice much of a change to the exterior, so whatever they are planning to refresh does not appear to have been completed yet.
Columbia Harbor House is a quick-service restaurant in Magic Kingdom located in Liberty Square. The location serves New-England-inspired food in a restaurant that contains nautical-theming. There are some upstairs seating areas that provide a quiet place to recharge while taking in some amazing views of Magic Kingdom.

Star Wars and Fortnite are collaborating once again, and this time Ahsoka Tano is joining Battle Royale.
Ahsoka Tano makes her debut in Fortnite, marking the newest collaboration between the popular game and the Star Wars universe. In the v26.20 update, this legendary Jedi arrives on the Battle Royale Island as a hologram, prepared to guide you in mastering the Force.
Embrace her training invitation to enter a rift, then come back to the Island armed with the distinguished white Jedi Training Lightsaber. Equipped with this lightsaber, you gain access to the Force skills Ahsoka has imparted to you.
The Ahsoka Tano Outfit is now available for unlocking through the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass purchase, allowing you to immerse yourself in Fortnite as the iconic Snips. Part of the package includes a new weapon skin, emote, and her back bling.
Ahsoka Tano’s force powers include the ability to harness the Force to enhance your sprint speed and execute double jumps. Players can also harness the Force to exert control over objects and players, propelling them away.
For those who have obtained the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass, you will find the Ahsoka Tano Quests located in the “Quests” section. Ahsoka’s inclusion in Fortnite coincides with her live-action series, “Ahsoka,” which debuted on Disney+ on August 22.
Fortnite, created by Epic Games, offers players the opportunity to craft their own virtual realms or engage in classic Battle Royale and adrenaline-pumping Zero Build modes. You can access Fortnite on various platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, PC, and cloud-based gaming services.

Sir Michael Gambon Actor who played Dumbledore in Harry Potter Passes Away Peacefully
Esteemed actor Sir Michael Gambon has peacefully passed away at the age of 82 in a hospital, as disclosed by his family today.
Sir Michael Gambon, a towering figure in British theater and cinema, embarked on a remarkable 60-year career that began with him sharing the stage with Sir Laurence Olivier. Among newer generations, he is fondly remembered for his portrayal of Albus Dumbledore in six of the eight Harry Potter films.
Gambon’s journey to becoming one of the world’s most revered actors is all the more remarkable considering his modest beginnings. Born in Dublin to a working-class couple, he was encouraged to pursue a career in engineering after leaving school at the age of 15.
Throughout his illustrious career, Gambon earned 13 Olivier Award nominations, leaving an indelible mark on Shakespearean works, particularly his exceptional portrayal of Othello. He also graced numerous successful television shows and, in 1968, even won an audition to potentially become the next James Bond in “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” after Sean Connery’s departure. However, he humbly declined, telling producer Albert ‘Cubby’ Broccoli, “I haven’t got nice hair, and I’m a bit fat,” leading to the role eventually going to George Lazenby.
Knighted in 1999, Gambon was adored for his portrayal of French detective Jules Maigret. His global recognition soared when he assumed the role of Dumbledore, taking over from fellow Irishman Richard Harris after his passing. Sir Michael downplayed his transformation into the Hogwarts headmaster, remarking, “I’d stick on a beard and play me,” but his millions of fans would passionately disagree.
A statement released on behalf of his wife, Lady Gambon, and son, Fergus Gambon, by publicist Clair Dobbs, conveyed their profound sorrow:
‘We are devastated to announce the loss of Sir Michael Gambon. Beloved husband and father, Michael died peacefully in hospital with his wife Anne and son Fergus at his bedside, following a bout of pneumonia. Michael was 82. We ask that you respect our privacy at this painful time and thank you for your messages of support and love.’
First Look at the 2024-2025 Disneyland Resort Ambassadors!
Disneyland Resort is thrilled to introduce its Disney Ambassadors for the 2024-2025 term, and they are none other than Jada Young and Raul Aquino Rojas!
Chosen from a pool of countless applicants, Jada Young and Raul Aquino Rojas have earned this prestigious role. The Disney Ambassador program, established back in 1965 when Walt Disney himself selected Julie Reihm Casaletto as the very first Disney Ambassador, has evolved over nearly six decades. Today, it boasts a global team of Ambassadors who represent the thousands of dedicated cast members worldwide and play a pivotal role in sharing the enchantment of Disney with communities far and wide.
Continuing this rich legacy, the program warmly welcomes Young and Aquino Rojas as the 50th generation of Disney Ambassadors to represent Disneyland Resort. The announcement of the 2024-2025 Disney Ambassadors took place during a special ceremony held at Disneyland park, attended by their families, friends, fellow cast members, esteemed guests, and the Disney Ambassadors who have served in this role before them.
“I’m thrilled to be a Disney Ambassador to represent our cast members across the resort and have the opportunity to show up as something bigger than myself,” said Young. Aquino Rojas added, “It’s an honor to be part of the ongoing legacy of the Disneyland Resort and join the historic Disney Ambassador program.”
Young and Aquino Rojas will represent over 34,000 cast members across Disneyland Resort, leading and participating in cast member events, sharing Disney Cast Life stories through social media and representing the resort in media interviews – to name just a few of the duties of this prestigious role.
“A huge congratulations to Jada and Raul,” said Ken Potrock, Disneyland Resort President. “They will do an amazing job representing our cast members and engaging our community. I can’t wait to get to work with them on so many exciting projects over the next two years – Walt’s Ambassador program is in incredible hands.”
Mark Everett King Jr. and Nataly Guzman Garcia, the Disney Ambassadors of Disneyland Resort for 2022-2023, will officially pass the torch to the new team beginning Jan. 1, 2024, following the conclusion of their two-year term.
Reflecting on their time as Disney Ambassadors, King and Guzman Garcia agreed “it’s been a dream come true.” King continued, “My time as a Disney Ambassador has been so rewarding. From the memories I created with fellow cast members and the legacy that Nataly and I have left on the resort… I am departing this role feeling fulfilled and accomplished.”
Echoing King’s sentiments, Guzman Garcia shared, “It’s surreal how the last few years have gone by so quickly, yet they feel like a lifetime. I am so proud of everything we have accomplished and how much we have been able to grow. We’re just honored we were given this opportunity, especially during the Disney100 Celebration. I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for us.”
Meet the new Disney Ambassadors of Disneyland Resort!
As a native of Long Beach, Calif., Disneyland Resort has always been a huge part of Jada Young’s upbringing. Aside from her early memories of park days with her family, one of her most memorable experiences would be the first time she got to perform with her middle school show choir at the Royal Theater in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park. She anchors herself with gratitude to her village of family and friends and the sacrifices they made so she could have these opportunities.
Young’s Disney career began in 2017 at the premier tire shop of Radiator Springs, home to Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters in Cars Land. As an attractions cast member, Young’s leaders have supported her development all around the resort. Throughout the last six years, she’s held leadership roles such as Core Lead and Trainer in both attractions and Special Event Operations. She also worked with the Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) Program as a facilitator for Disney’s Approach to Leadership and Teamwork. After returning from the resort’s closure, she was a part of the opening team of Avengers Campus and helped kick off the Disney100 celebrations as a Disney Media Rep.
Outside of work, Young cherishes her time spent with family and friends. She enjoys film, live entertainment, volunteering in her community as an advocate for youth and spending time near the ocean. Young’s application to the Disney Ambassador Program was rooted in her value for servant leadership and her hope to continue Walt’s legacy of creating a place welcoming to all.
Raul Aquino Rojas
Raul Aquino Rojas was born in Zihuatanejo, Mexico and came to the U.S. when he was a year old, and grew up in Lynwood, Calif. Aquino Rojas’ childhood was filled with much laughter watching “Winnie the Pooh” and many Disney movies, and he visited Disneyland for the first time when he was 7. The fond memories he made with his family from that visit stayed with him for many years and kept the magic alive for him.
In 2019, Aquino Rojas began his Disney career as a Disney PhotoPass Photographer at Disneyland Resort. Aquino Rojas currently enjoys leading his cast both within Disney Photo Imaging and Guest Show Operations teams. In his spare time, he enjoys tapping into his creative passions through photography and writing. You can often find him on adventures hiking and camping out in nature.
Walt Disney Animation Studios Unveils ‘Wish’ Trailer and Look at Entire Cast
In an exciting development, Walt Disney Animation Studios has unveiled a fresh trailer and poster for their upcoming musical comedy, “Wish.” The highly-anticipated film is set to hit U.S. theaters on Wednesday, November 22, promising an epic and heartwarming adventure.
Moreover, Walt Disney Animation Studios has introduced new additions to the film’s voice cast, joining the previously announced stars Ariana DeBose as the 17-year-old heroine Asha, Chris Pine as the formidable King Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s charming pet goat, Valentino. These new cast members are set to bring even more magic to the enchanting world of “Wish.”
Wish welcomes audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.
Wish the film is directed by Academy Award® winner Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn and produced by Peter Del Vecho and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones. Jennifer Lee executive produces, with Lee and Allison Moore serving as writers. Wish features original songs by Grammy®-nominated singer/songwriter Julia Michaels and Grammy-winning producer/songwriter/musician Benjamin Rice, as well as a score by composer Dave Metzger.
New Halloween Dining Experience at Goofy’s Kitchen
A new Halloween dining experience is available now at Goofy’s Kitchen in the Disneyland Resort! This new character seasonal dining experience can be booked now through October 31, 2023. In addition to special character moments, guests can enjoy special food items prepared just for the Halloween season—with enhanced menu offerings for brunch and dinner; themed décor and music; Disney PhotoPass digital downloads; and a Halloween-themed button.
Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel has been decked out in Halloween decor! Jack-o-Lanterns, candy corn, and even an adorable Mickey Mouse Jack-o-Lantern bring the Halloween season into the restaurant.
The special Halloween experience is available for Breakfast, Brunch and Dinner.

Some of our favorite characters join guests for their meal dressed in their best Halloween attire! Goofy greats guests in an orange spooky tree costume. Minnie Mouse wears a purple patched dress and purple cat ears. Chip and Dale wear skeleton shirts with candy in the tummy area. And Pluto has a new collar on! The characters parade through the restaurant and even stop to visit guests at their table.

Cinderella Fountain Refurbishment Now Complete in the Magic Kingdom
The Cinderella Fountain in Magic Kingdom is working once again! The fountain in Fantasyland had been drained and roped off for a few months while it was repaired and repainted.
The bottom of the fountain had become cracked earlier this summer. Disney drained the fountain and repaired it along with adding a fresh coat of light blue paint. The fountain has once again been filled with water and some coins have been tossed in.
Guests are again using the drinking fountains built into the outer columns of the fountain.
Disney donates the coins from its fountains and waterways to Make-A-Wish and Give Kids The World Village. Do you toss coins into the fountains at Walt Disney World?

New Location for Chip and Dale Meet & Greet in the Magic Kingdom
There’s a new location for the Chip and Dale meet & greet in Magic Kingdom! The spunky chipmunks are now greeting guests in Tomorrowland and wearing some cool, futuristic outfits.
The duo previously met guests in Fantasyland. We aren’t sure if this change in location is a permanent thing or temporary.
We found Chip and Dale meeting guests yesterday next to the Buzz Lightyear meet and greet area near Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. They are dressed in science-fiction-inspired outfits. Each of them is sporting a futuristic vest and a half-helmet.

This week at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, guests were treated to a heartwarming spectacle – the birth of a baby addax. And we are happy to announce-it’s a girl! Lavender, the proud mom, surprised everyone by delivering her precious calf a bit earlier than expected. Fortunately, the little one is healthy, and mother and daughter are already forming a close bond as they roam the savanna together. The joy radiating from the keepers and delighted guests was palpable.
Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to over 30 species of African wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, gazelles, kudu, and flamingos. Guests can use the Wildlife Field Guide provided in their room to identify each species, with extras available at the Front Desk. Plus, guests can deepen their understanding of African animals and ecosystems through engaging programs led by Animal Specialists.
