Mickey and Friends Debut their new island outfits at Disney’s Castaway Cay!
Get ready for a splash of style on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay! Starting this weekend, beloved characters like Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and the mischievous duo Chip and Dale will be showcasing their all-new beachwear.
Designed to capture the essence of the tropical paradise and infused with Disney Cruise Line charm, the characters are dressed to impress. Mickey and Minnie sport swimwear featuring vibrant colors and nautical nods, while Daisy is ready for relaxation in her lounge wrap dress and accessories with a touch of nautical flair.

It’s possible that Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro was filming an announcement for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, potentially revealing the ride’s opening date at Walt Disney World.
The announcement may have been related to Mardi Gras, where Disney unveiled that the new attraction would debut this summer in the Magic Kingdom and later in 2024 at Disneyland. Disney also shared a glimpse of one of the Tiana audio-animatronics during the festivities.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure takes the place of Splash Mountain, maintaining the same ride track while undergoing a complete transformation of set decorations.
The “mountain” is now adorned with flowers, representing a salt dome in Louisiana, the setting for Tiana’s Foods co-op. The ride invites guests to join Tiana on a journey into the bayou to find a special ingredient for her Mardi Gras celebration.
Grandchildren of Roy and Walt Disney Send Letter in Support of Bob Iger
Nine grandchildren of Walt and Roy Disney have voiced their support for Bob Iger and the existing Walt Disney Company board, taking a stand against Nelson Peltz and other figures seeking influence within Disney.
The united front of the heirs, which includes Abigail E. Disney, a periodic critic of Iger, publicly announced their endorsement of Iger and the current board in response to Peltz’s proxy battle for board seats. Roy P. Disney, 66, emphasized the need to defeat these activists, asserting that their motivations lie not in preserving Disney’s magic but in dismantling it solely for rapid personal profit.

To the Shareholders of The Walt Disney Company, As the family of Walt Disney, we support The Walt Disney Company management and its Board of Directors and oppose the nominations put forth by Nelson Peltz. The integrity in the name of Walt Disney has always been a priority to our family. Our mother — Diane Disney Miller, Walt’s eldest daughter — created The Walt Disney Family Museum to ensure that the history of her father’s life and those involved in the creation of his dreams would be honored and remembered. We still believe in this brand of integrity and storytelling. Bob Iger has grown this company in a modern world, and he continues to maintain a balance of creativity and profit. From Mickey and Minnie, to Snow White and Mary Poppins, Disney is not a company that makes widgets – it makes magic. And it takes a special group of leaders with a deep respect and understanding for this tradition to develop the kinds of incredible experiences – whether in a theme park, at a movie theatre, or in your own home – that touch people’s hearts.
Bob Iger, his management team, and the Board of Directors are faithful to this magic. What concerns us most about these hedge-fund-backed opportunists is that they have little to no knowledge of what Disney truly means to people like you. They haven’t made any arguments for why they should be entrusted with the keys to the kingdom our family built. To the contrary, their “I alone can fix it” mentality makes clear that they are not interested in preserving the Disney magic, but stripping it to the bone to make a quick profit for themselves.
We’re old enough to remember the bitter episode four decades ago when another corporate raider, Saul Steinberg — who, as it so happens, was good friends with one of the current activists, Nelson Peltz — launched a hostile takeover attempt of Disney and threatened to break apart the company. He was defeated, much as these activists must be defeated today.
This is not a company of interchangeable parts. It is home to thousands and thousands of dedicated employees who share the same passion Walt and Roy had for bringing hope and happiness to people through the magic of storytelling. Disney is lucky to be led by people who are looking to the future while drawing guidance from our cherished past. As The Walt Disney Company charts its path forward, it is imperative that the strategy Bob Iger, his management team, and the Board of Directors have implemented is not disrupted by those motivated by nothing more than their own self-interest.
Disney stories are filled with heroes and villains. We know who the villains are in this story, and we know they cannot be entrusted with protecting this company’s rich legacy or guiding its bright future.

The fun family-friendly “egg” search throughout the Disneyland Resort, the Eggstravaganza, is returning to Disneyland this year! From March 11 to April 9 guests can participate is this special springtime tradition.
At this fan-favorite event, Guests search high and low for characters painted on eggs. A Donald Duck egg could be placed on a window ledge or in the nook of a doorway, while a Goofy egg may be spotted next door. Can you find them all?
How to Join In the Fun 1. Pick up your map and stickers for $9.99 plus tax at select merchandise locations.
2. Have fun searching for hidden “eggs” themed to Disney characters and placing the corresponding stickers on your map.
3. When you’re done, return your map to a redemption location and receive an eggs-citing keepsake: one of 6 collectible themed keepsakes—which you’ll receive even if you don’t complete the entire quest.
Pick up your map at a sales location. Then let the search begin! After “egg” searching, return your map for a keepsake at a redemption location.

Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea Brings the Worlds of ‘Tangled,’ ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Frozen’ to Life
The eighth themed port at Tokyo DisneySea Park – Fantasy Springs – comes to life on June 6. In celebration, Disney has unveiled a wealth of information about upcoming themed areas inspired by three cherished films from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Located at Tokyo DisneySea, Fantasy Spring finds itself nestled between the resort’s Lost River Delta and the Arabian Coast areas. The new port will be an entryway for guests into the magical worlds of Tangled, Peter Pan, and Frozen, which will include innovative attractions, stunning restaurants, cozy shops, and the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel.
Tangled is one of Disney’s most popular films and for the first time in any Disney Park guests will be able to partake in the story of Rapunzel through festivities, locales, and encounters.
For starters, there’s Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival.
This lovely gondola tour will be both romantic and thrilling as it tells the story of Rapunzel exploring the kingdom of Corona and falling for thief Flynn Rider (AKA Eugene Fitzherbert).
For refreshments, there’s the Snuggly Duckling—the famed watering hole from the film—at which many ruffians dreamt of having more in their lives. This counter-service restaurant will be tucked away among the trees and will offer delectable food choices such as the Duckling’s Dream Cheeseburger.
Peter Pan’s Never Land
You won’t have fly to the second star to the right to land in Peter Pan’s Never Land any longer thanks to Fantasy Springs.
There’ll be plenty of excitement when guests come aboard Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure. The attraction allows guests to soar alongside Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and the Lost Kids as they attempt to save John from the clutches of Captain Hook.
Swashbuckling can make you hungry, so luckily Lookout Cookout—a counter service restaurant—will offer all types of food and drink including the Lost Kids’ Snack Box.
The Box comes with chicken tenders, seaweed fritters, banana and shrimp chips, and a Pixie Dust Soda (Kiwi) that comes with a star-shaped topping that dissolves into the drink, creating a silver sparkling effect inspired by Tinker Bell’s magical pixie dust.
And if you’re still hungry, you can fly over to Popcorn Wagon to snack on roast beef flavored popcorn—available for the first time at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Frozen Kingdom
Whether it’s summer or winter, the joys of Frozen will come to life at Frozen Kingdom.
The Fantasy Springs area will invite guests to enjoy the sights, tastes, and fun of Arendelle—the kingdom and home of Anna, Elsa and the other beloved characters from the hit franchise, Frozen.
You can set out on a voyage via Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, which takes guests on an adventurous and heartwarming tale of the two sisters. The boat adventure will include popular songs from the original film as well as memories of the excitement and love that Anna and Elsa share.
After the adventure, guests can dine at the Royal Banquet of Arendelle.
This counter-service restaurant will include books and artwork from the world of Frozen. Guests will also be able to eat delicious meals inspired by the film, including Arendelle’s Royal Set — a meal served to guests in a basket that has a variety of mouthwatering dishes from appetizers to dessert.
Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel
Beyond the worlds of the film, guests can also rest their heads at the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel.
The park-integrated Disney hotel is situated near Fantasy Springs, which allows guests to be immersed in the world during their stay at this hotel.
Interiors will be inspired by Disney princesses, flora and fauna with motifs of the themed port, and more.
The hotel is made up of two buildings: Fantasy Chateau, a deluxe type, and Grand Chateau, a luxury type which will offer the finest accommodation experience at Tokyo Disney Resort.
