New murals have been added to The Magic of Disney Store at the Orlando International Airport
The Magic of Disney Store at Orlando International Airport, located on Level 3 of Terminals A/B, provides a great way to kick off your Walt Disney World vacation or grab a last-minute Disney souvenir as your trip comes to an end. The store has yet another great reason to stop and browse: two new murals have been added!
The two new murals feature the ‘Fab 5’ Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofey, Donald Duck, Daisey Duck, and Pluto in the updated animation style.
There are two murals to view, one depicting Mickey and friends starting a fun-filled day at the Magic Kingdom, and another showing the group ending the day with Fireworks in front of Cinderella Castle.

The Disney Skyliner will be closing in early 2024 for routine maintenance
The Disney Skyliner is a great way to move around the Walt Disney World resort, especially for those staying at one of the resorts on the Skyliner route. If you are planning a stay at Walt Disney World in early 2024 at one of these resorts, however, you may find yourself unable to use the Skyliner as it is set to go down for annual maintenance.
Annual maintenance is obviously required to ensure the Skyliner continues to function well, refurbishments can be made to any cosmetic defects and routine repairs can be completed. The Disney Skyliner is slated to close on January 16, 2024, and will remain closed through January 21, 2024.
The Disney Skyliner connects Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at EPCOT to the following Disney Resort hotels:
Resorts that utilize the Skyliner for transportation to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT will provide bus transportation during the closure. Note that while the Skyliner is slated to re-open on January 21, any delays encountered during the refurbishment can result in the closure being extended.

In the magical realm of Walt Disney World, heroes of every kind are celebrated, especially the real-life heroes who’ve dedicated their lives to serving our country. The 2024 Active and Retired Military Members Discounts have just been released, and members and veterans of the military will want to check them out!
For visits in 2024, active and retired US military members can now choose between a 4-Day, 5-Day, or 6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket. These promotional tickets are up for grabs with either the Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus options.
Ticket Breakdown:
6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket: Purchase this dream deal now through December 15, 2024. The ticket with Park Hopper is priced at $409 plus tax and with Park Hopper Plus at $439 plus tax.
5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket: Available for purchase until December 16, 2024. You can get the Park Hopper for $389 plus tax and the Park Hopper Plus for $419 plus tax.
4-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket: Seal the deal by December 17, 2024. The Park Hopper option comes at $369 plus tax, and the Park Hopper Plus is at $399 plus tax.

The Magic Kingdom’s TRON Energy Bytes is serving up two varieties of Fruit Mochi
TRON Energy Bytes at the Magic Kingdom is serving up two varieties of Fruit Mochi: Strawberry (termed a Strawberry IceOform) and Passion Fruit (termed Passion Fruit IceOform).
The dishes both contain ice cream Mochi, which are Mochi balls filled with a chilly ice cream center. The Mochi balls themselves are easy to bite into, and the chill from the ice cream is nice on a hot day at Magic Kingdom.
The Strawberry Mochi is topped with caramelized gram cracker crumbs and cheesecake foam, while the Passion Fruit Mochi is topped with a shortbread crunch and purple ube foam.
The foam in both dishes provides a bright pop of color as well as adds flavor to the dish, and the crumbs/crunch provide a nice textural contrast.

Walt Disney World Inspires Florida Students with Inside Look at the Technology Behind the Magic
Walt Disney World has long been known for its commitment to innovation and technology, and it often serves as an inspiration for students and aspiring professionals in the field. Disney’s use of technology extends to various aspects of its theme parks, from entertainment and ride experiences to guest services and operations. To inspire Florida students and provide them with an inside look at the technology behind the magic, Disney has been involved in several initiatives and programs.
Walt Disney World recently welcomed students from Evans High School in Orlando, Florida, who actively participated in a Disney Imagination Campus workshop. During the workshop, they had the opportunity to interact with models and prototypes related to the Soarin’ attraction and gained a firsthand, up-close look at Audio-Animatronics used in the park. The concepts presented in this workshop highlighted the evolution, creation, and the diverse array of technologies employed in the design and operation of these beloved attractions.
Walt Disney World hosted students from Evans High School in Orlando, Florida for a learning experience focused on innovation at EPCOT for “National Go on a Field Trip Month.” During the workshop hosted by Disney Imagination Campus, students learned how Disney Imagineers apply technology and real-world STEM concepts to theme parks and attractions in distinctly Disney ways.
Through these initiatives, Disney aims to inspire and educate the next generation of innovators, engineers, and technology professionals.
Disney+ Reveals Trailer and Dates For Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials
In a thrilling collaboration between Disney Branded Television and the BBC, the eagerly anticipated “Doctor Who” series is set to captivate a global audience. The trailer and premiere dates for the three exciting 60th-anniversary specials have been unveiled, slated to premiere on Disney+ worldwide, excluding the UK and Ireland where they will air on the BBC.

“Doctor Who” is produced by Bad Wolf and BBC Studios. The series returns under the creative vision of returning showrunner Russell T. Davies, who also serves as a writer and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Phil Collinson, Joel Collins, Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter. The 60th-anniversary specials are written by Russell T. Not only is the new adult beverage delicious, it’s also pleasing to the eyes! It’s also served with the restaurant’s signature Hummingbird Cake Pop.

Tron Lightcycle Run will Use Standby Line for After Hours Events
Disney recently announce more Disney After Hours events coming in 2024. During the events at Magic Kingdom, Tron Lightcycle Run will use a standby line rather than a virtual queue.
Since the new coaster opened at Magic Kingdom, guests have needed to either join a virtual queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane in order to experience the attraction. Now, during Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom, guests will have access to a standby line. That means they can experience the ride multiple times during the event.
Disney After Hours will take place in Magic Kingdom on select nights in January, February, and March next year. Take a look at the dates and ticket prices:

Adventureland Treehouse Opens on Nov 10th in Disneyland
The new Adventureland Treehouse in Disneyland has an opening date! Guests can experience the reimagined attraction starting November 10th.
As previously announced, Adventureland Treehouse will pay tribute to the original treehouse Walt Disney and his Imagineers built in 1962 in honor of the movie “Swiss Family Robinson.” With the new Adventureland Treehouse, we’re excited to introduce a fresh story for the next generation of park goers to experience and enjoy.
Among the tree’s massive boughs, you’ll find the mother’s music den, the sons’ nature room and the daughter’s astronomer’s loft. Firm on the ground will be a kitchen and dining room, plus the father’s art studio that will display hand-drawn sketches and paintings of each room.
As the story goes, the family fashioned an oasis among the trees inspired by nature and using objects found around them. Here, they can collaborate together while also pursuing their own individual skills, talents, passions and interests.
Proud of what they’ve accomplished and eager to share their way of life with visitors from around the world, the family has rolled out the metaphorical welcome mat, inviting guests to climb up the stone stairway and explore their treetop abode.
Adjacent to the stairwell is the home’s iconic waterwheel, which is powered by a small brook that babbles nearby. The family created a pulley system to deliver water from the stream high up into the tree, generating the energy needed to activate many of their gadgets and inventions.
Nestled in the highest part of the home, you will find the daughter’s room, as she has illustrated it here in her own abstract style. An admirer of celestial bodies and their magnitudes, motions and magic, her room provides a clear view of the beautiful night sky. It is here where she spends her time tracking stars, planets and comets with her many telescopes, no doubt making new discoveries which she logs in her notebooks, sketches and artistic recreations.
In the mother’s room, you’ll find musical instruments including a harp, lute, guitar and organ, which she plays to fill the home with cheerful melodies. The twin brothers have packed their room with an impossibly large collection of plants and animals, all living in harmony with one another. Filled with gadgets, appliances and devices of his own invention, the father’s studio reflects the whole family’s affinity for exploring the unknown and designing the unimaginable.
