Universal Creative has released exciting new footage showcasing How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, one of the captivating lands under construction for Epic Universe, the third theme park at Universal Orlando Resort.

Posted via the story on the Universal Creative Instagram account, the clips offer a first glimpse of the grand entrance process for the Isle of Berk, transporting guests through a majestic dragon-shaped portal and into the heart of the iconic Viking village from DreamWorks Animation’s beloved “How to Train Your Dragon” films.

The exclusive behind-the-scenes look brings the Isle of Berk to life, featuring towering Viking and dragon statues flanking a sparkling lagoon, along with intricate details like painted textures and awe-inspiring rockwork. Universal Creative team members enthusiastically share their excitement for the upcoming land, offering glimpses of the theater hosting “The Untrainable Dragon,” a stage show adapted from the popular Universal Studios Beijing attraction.

Thrill-seekers will be delighted with a sneak peek of Dragon Racer’s Rally, a high-octane double-spinner ride. Universal Studios Hollywood Announces The Fall Guy Stuntacular Pre-Show at WaterWorld

Calling all thrill seekers! Get ready to experience the world of “The Fall Guy” before the movie hits theaters! From April 27th to May 19th, Universal Studios Hollywood is bringing the new film to life with an exclusive pre-show called “The Fall Guy Stuntacular Pre-Show” as part of their popular WaterWorld attraction.

This all-new, exclusive entertainment performance features an original storyline designed to provide an entertaining peek behind the curtain of how stunt performances are designed and brought to life, while celebrating the artistry of the film industry’s unsung heroes – the stunt performers.

The show is produced by 87North Productions, the world-renowned production and action design company founded by Leitch and producer Kelly McCormick, who are the force behind such iconic and bold action tentpole films as Bullet Train, Fast & Furious Present: Hobbs & Shaw, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, Nobody, Violent Night and John Wick.

The Fall Guy, directed by former stuntman David Leitch, stars Academy Award® nominee Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers, a former stuntman who is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie goes missing. Performers File Petition to Form Labor Union in Disneyland

Cast members at Disneyland Resort, including those who portray Disney characters, character actors, and supporting staff, are seeking to form a labor union. On Wednesday, they filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board to hold a vote. Over two-thirds of the roughly 1,700 eligible workers signed the petition, with a vote expected in May or June.

During a press conference held in Anaheim, California, the heart of Disneyland Resort, workers announced their intention to unionize and petitioned The Walt Disney Co. for recognition of their newly formed union, “Magic United.”

While expressing their passion for creating magical memories for park visitors, several workers voiced concerns. These included the recent return of character hugging after the pandemic, ongoing challenges like costume-related injuries, unpredictable scheduling, and a lack of clear communication from management.

While unions exist for the majority of Disneyland Resort’s 35,000+ workers, character performers and parade cast members announced their intent to unionize in February. They’re seeking representation by the Actors’ Equity Association, the same union that advocates for theatrical performers at Disney’s Florida theme parks.

In a statement Wednesday, Disney officials said: “We support our cast members’ right to a confidential vote that recognizes their individual choices.”

President of Actors’ Equity, Kate Shindle, believes the California workers would win the election through the NLRB, the federal agency that protects workers’ rights to organize. “They just want to be paid fairly, to have a more humane scheduling system, to know that they are safe on the job, to have clear and respectful communication at work.” she said.

Heads up! The Mickey Shorts Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closing for a one-month renovation project in the near future.

The Mickey Shorts Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closing its doors for a one-month refurbishment starting April 29th. It’s scheduled to reopen on May 25th, ready to welcome guests again.

This relatively new theater (opened in early 2020) is likely undergoing some general maintenance, similar to the recent updates in other Hollywood Studios theaters. The Walt Disney Theater at Walt Disney Presents received new seating and carpet earlier this year, and Muppet*Vision 3D got fresh upholstery last year.

The upcoming refurbishment might also include some exciting enhancements, just like the Animation Courtyard theater, which will reopen with the brand new show “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.”

The new Mickey Mouse Lollipop Collection will make a sweet addition to your wardrobe! We found the ear headband and spirit jersey at Magic Kingdom and immediately felt in love with them, so colorful and fun!

MINNIE MOUSE LOLLIPOP EAR HEADBAND

The ear headband features colorful ears made out of tubes in a bright velour fabric replicating the sweet treat while a stripped sating bow adds the final touch! They are gorgeous and looking good enough to eat, definitely a mouth watering design that will make you hungry for your next trip to a Disney park.

MICKEY MOUSE LOLLIPOP SPIRIT JERSEY

New Star Wars Tatooine Collection At Disney Springs!

The new Star Wars Tatooine Collection is now shining twice as bright at Disney Springs! The items include a new ear headband, Loungefly backpack and of course a spirit jersey for all your travels around this desert planet.

SANDS OF TATOOINE EAR HEADBAND

The ear headband feature padded ears with embroidered Tatooine scenes and the Star Wars logo, all in brown/ pink colors. The soft velour bow in the middle adds a soft accent to the stark setting.

SANDS OF TATOOINE LOUNGEFLY BACKPACK

The backpack features neutral tones, the two suns at the tops and a Tatooine landscape on the front pocket. Turning around to find the Star Wars logo at the bottom and adjustable straps, the final touch is the rose gold hardware that matches perfectly with the pink/ brown tones in the design.

The future that never was is finally here! And it brought a Tomorrowland Loungefly to go on all your galactic adventures in style. You can find it at Magic Kingdom for $78.

It features a light blue color with orange details and artwork on the front featuring Space Mountain, TRON, the PeopleMover, and even a monorail above the land.
