On July 3rd, Universal unveils its largest daytime parade ever, the aptly named Universal Mega Movie Parade. Get ready for a summer filled with blockbuster memories at Universal Orlando Resort!

The highly-anticipated new DreamWorks Land will make its official debut on June 14 at Universal Studios Florida – inviting guests to explore the vivid worlds of some of DreamWorks Animation’s most beloved characters from Shrek, Trolls and Kung Fu Panda.
The expansive new area will feature interactive play areas, character meet and greets, an all-new indoor live show experience, unique treats and photo-worthy moments that are fun for the whole family. Guests will be able to explore Shrek’s Swamp, enjoy the Trollercoaster, interact with Po in the Panda Village, encounter characters like Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse and so much more.
Plus, guests will be transported into the worlds of some of their favorite characters in DreamWorks Imagination Celebration – a multisensory live show that will bring beloved DreamWorks stories to life like never before.
UNIVERSAL MEGA MOVIE PARADE (Debuting July 3 at Universal Studios Florida) Beginning July 3, some of the most beloved stories from Universal’s films will leap off the screen and land on the streets of Universal Studios Florida for Universal Mega Movie Parade – a spectacular celebration of iconic movies E.T., Back to the Future, Jaws, Ghostbusters, Jurassic World, Illumination’s Minions and Sing and DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls and Kung Fu Panda. Universal Mega Movie Parade will be Universal Orlando’s biggest daytime parade to date and combine 13 brand new floats, nearly 100 performers – including dancers, skaters, stilt walkers, poi performers and more – and special effects to create a jaw-dropping experience where guests can relive classic film moments in a whole new way.
Guests will watch in awe as they see the massive 16-foot Stay Puft Marshmallow Man atop the Ghostbusters float, the colorful Caterbus and giant rainbows on the vibrant Trolls float, a live marching drum line perform the iconic movie score of Jaws alongside a float themed to the film, and – for the epic finale – a Gyrosphere, Raptors and the fierce Tyrannosaurus rex aboard the Jurassic World float – and so much more.Fans should also pay close attention to the parade to see if they can spot additional details that nod to iconic elements from the films.

CINESATIONAL: A SYMPHONIC SPECTACULAR (Debuting June 14 at Universal Studios Florida) The waters of the Universal Studios Florida lagoon will come to life with an all-new nighttime show, CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular. The exhilarating new show will celebrate the emotional power of music by leveraging the iconic scores and scenes from blockbuster films that have inspired Universal Orlando’s past, present and future attractions – including Warner Bros. Pictures Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, Jurassic World, Jaws, Shrek, Ghostbusters, Trolls, Back to the Future, Universal Monsters, Transformers, How to Train Your Dragon, E.T., Fast and Furious, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Minions, The Mummy and King Kong.
Just as awe-inspiring as the moments featured during CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular are the impressive collection of technologies and special effects that bring the show to life. We also found a cheese shaped coin purse with Chef Remy and Emile artwork on one side, a very original product that deserves to be in your wardrobe!
And speaking of wardrobe, the French pavilion also had some apparel options like a gray hoodie with embroidery of Chef Remy on the front and “C’est La Vie” on the back with the Eiffel Tower and different types of cheese!
Other options include a blue “So Many Flavors, So Little Time!” tee and a pink long sleeve shirt with Chef Remy and “Le Petit Chef” phrase embroidered in white.
Finally, after eating all those tasty dishes made my Chef Remy, you will get thirsty, so this tumbler is perfect to keep hydrated! It features a beautiful light color with a plaid all over pattern and Chef Remy on the front and back surrounded by all types of cheese and the phrase “Live The Cheese Life”, not going to lie, that sounds fantastic!

Crews have begun removing the large, silver decorative panels that once adorned the exterior of the former NBA Experience. This move comes after Disney filed a permit for the demolition of the short-lived attraction.
The NBA Experience opened its doors in August 2019, taking the place of the beloved DisneyQuest. However, its lifespan was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While Disney Springs closed its doors in March 2020, the NBA Experience never reopened. The official announcement of the attraction’s permanent closure didn’t come until August 2021, despite layoffs of NBA Experience Cast Members occurring in October 2020. n 2022, the building saw a brief revival by hosting a limited-time “Star Wars” VR experience, but its future remains uncertain.
The now-bare exterior of the building reveals the remaining supports for the silver panels. With the removal of the panels, Disney Springs loses a piece of its recent history. While the NBA Experience may not have achieved the lasting success Disney had hoped for, it served as a reminder of the company’s constant evolution and its willingness to try new things. Now, with a blank canvas, we can only wait and see what exciting plans Disney has in store for this location.
Halloween may still be a distant memory, but for horror fans, the chills and thrills are never far away! And with the spooky season on the horizon, the first whispers of what awaits at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights are starting to emerge. An updated version of the Halloween Horror Nights spec map has been released by Halloween Horror Nightmares on X, and version 2.0 includes maps for both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood!

A Quiet Place: Can you stay silent? This house might test your ability to navigate in complete silence, lest you give your presence away to the terrifying creatures from the hit films.
Sweet Revenge: this is the house that is shown with a candy symbol on the map; this could potentially be an original house or a house based on the South Korean mini series of the same name? There are a total of 4 houses noted as IP on this map, so this house could be the 5th!
Blumhouse Productions: The black and white house symbol hinting at Blumhouse Productions raises the question – could we be getting a double feature of Blumhouse scares this year? Perhaps we’ll see characters from popular Blumhouse horror films come to life in this haunted house.

Disney has unveiled a roar-some first look at “Mufasa: The Lion King,” the highly anticipated prequel hitting theaters this December 20th. This exciting new film explores the rise of Mufasa, the beloved king of the Pride Lands.
