City Works at Disney Springs will be serving up its Rock n Roll Brunch on New Years Day

Looking for a great way to cap off your New Year’s celebration this year? City Works Eatery and Pour House has you covered with their famous Rock n Roll Brunch! Normally offered only on weekends, City Works is serving up on a Monday just for New Year’s Day!

The New Year’s Rock n Roll Brunch will include customizable mimosa flights, in true New Year’s fashion, and includes classic brunch favorites with brilliant twists like the Sweet Child O’ Mine – brioche French toast stuffed with mixed berry compote, topped with powdered sugar and Bailey’s cream cheese.

Magic Kingdom reaches capacity on Christmas Day for All Tickets Including Annual Passes

There are currently no park reservations available at Magic Kingdom for Christmas Day

The holiday season at Magic Kingdom is perhaps the most magical time of the year at the Most Magical Place on Earth. While the ‘holidays’ at Walt Disney World extend from early November through the end of December, a visit to Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day is high on the bucket list of many Disney fans. The demand for a Christmas Day visit this year has once again outpaced supply, as there are no park reservations available for Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World’s reservation system, a measure to manage park capacity, currently requires all visitors, including those with annual passes, to book their entry in advance. While this system has been effective in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests and avoiding showing up at a park just to learn it is at capacity, it also means that once reservations are full, no additional guests can be accommodated.

As of now, the Magic Kingdom has reached its full capacity for Christmas Day. While the potential exists for park reservations to open up due to cancellations, as of right now if you do not currently have a park reservation you will be unable to visit Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day.

If you’re among those who couldn’t secure a reservation, you can consider exploring other options. Walt Disney World’s other parks, like EPCOT or Animal Kingdom, offer their own unique holiday experiences. Alternatively, you could visit Disney Springs for shopping and dining, or enjoy the festive decorations and activities at the various Disney resorts. Remember, the magic of Disney is not confined to just one park!

Disney Wish Spaceship Earth Show Wows Guests in EPCOT

A new Spaceship Earth show has debuted at Epcot! The show celebrates the newest animated Disney film, ‘Wish’.

The new Disney Wish Spaceship Earth show plays nightly as one of three light shows. Lights dance across the surface of Spaceship Earth to the song “I’m a Star” from Disney Wish.

Two other nighttime shows take place on Spaceship Earth; the 100th Anniversary show, and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure show. All three are beautiful and worth sticking around to experience!

See the Disney Dream Decorated for Disney Cruise Line Very Merrytime Voyages

The Disney Dream is decorated for the holidays and Disney Cruise Line’s Very Merrytime sailings! Everywhere from the lobby to the restaurants have received festive decor.

Beautiful Christmas trees can be seen throughout the ship. The lobby houses the main, big tree, while other smaller ones can be found around the ship. All of the trees are decorated with festive ornaments, poinsettias, and bows. We especially love the tree outside of Animator’s Palate. It’s a silver tree with large ball ornaments, white poinsettias, and film reel ribbon.

Also found in the ship’s atrium is the giant gingerbread house! Outside of the house is a sign that tells all about it. It was developed and created by the Disney pastry chefs and it took approximately 230 hours from development to completion. Each brick was individually aligned and stuck to the frame with icing. Other details include:

750 lbs gingerbread dough
3500 gingerbread bricks
1900 gingerbread bricks on the roof
160 lbs icing sugar
10 days total working hours

Universal Studios Hollywood is ringing in the New Year with EVE, Hollywood’s hottest New Year’s Eve celebration! The event features multiple dance locations, a captivating fireworks display and access to select rides and attractions, on Sunday, December 31 with extended hours until 2:00 a.m.

Included in the price of theme park admission, EVE is the ultimate way to usher in the new year. Beginning with a full day of theme park fun, guests can enjoy award-winning rides and attractions, before transitioning to a park-wide celebration and special midnight countdown to 2024.

Universal Studios Hollywood’s unforgettable night begins at 9:00 p.m. as the theme park transforms into a thrilling celebration, including designated dance party zones with DJs spinning an eclectic medley of music from pop, rock and hip-hop to EDM and Latin music. Unique photo opportunities located around the theme park will also provide a sparkling backdrop to capture and share memorable moments from the night.

What attractions can you ride at Zootopia?

Zootopia: Hot Pursuit

The major attraction in the land, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, invites you to become a rookie police officer alongside Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Here you’ll go across Zootopia’s iconic terrains, sliding across the ice of Tundratown, prowling for fugitives through the streets of Sahara Square, sharing a too-close-for-comfort encounter at Mystic Springs Oasis, all in pursuit of Bellwether and her gang to track down Gazelle.

Not only can you experience your favorite characters like never before through a new generation of Audio-Animatronics figures, but the action-packed attraction also uses a combination of leading technologies to create a trackless ride system.

Walt Disney Company Appoints Two New Board Members

Two new board members have been appointed to the Walt Disney Company

The Walt Disney Company has announced two new board members will be joining the Disney Board: James P. Gorman and Sir Jeremy Darroch.

James P. Gorman is a well-known name in the financial world. He’s the Chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley, a major global financial company. Gorman has been with Morgan Stanley since 2006 and became CEO in 2010. Under his leadership, the company has seen a lot of growth and success. Gorman will join the Disney Board on February 5, 2024.

Sir Jeremy Darroch is a seasoned executive in the media industry. He was the Group Chief Executive of Sky, a large television company in Europe. During his time at Sky, Darroch played a significant role in expanding the company’s services. His appointment to the Disney Board will be effective from January 9, 2024.

The Walt Disney Company started looking for new board members in April 2023. They wanted people who were not only great leaders but also had strong experience in media and finance. This is where Gorman and Darroch fit in perfectly.

Disney believes that these new members will help the company continue to grow and succeed. They bring a lot of knowledge and experience, especially in areas like strategic planning, finance, and international media.

Mark G. Parker, the Chairman of Disney’s Board, expressed confidence in both Gorman and Darroch. He noted their achievements and leadership skills, emphasizing how they will contribute to Disney’s future success.

As Disney prepares for its 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, the addition of Gorman and Darroch brings new perspectives to the company’s leadership. Their expertise is expected to be valuable in steering Disney through the evolving entertainment and media landscapes.
