It features the iconic geometric design of Starbucks tumblers with a pink/ purple ombre color with a matte finish, a 2024 Walt Disney World logo featuring Mickey Mouse on the front and Starbucks logo on the back. Super cute!

Look inside the Disney Vacation Club Very Member Merriment at Gaston’s Tavern in the Magic Kingdom
During certain December evenings of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom, Disney Vacation Club Members are welcome to join the Disney Vacation Club Very Member Merriment.
Visit Gaston’s Tavern to capture a festive photo and indulge in special treats—all covered with your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party admission. Celebrate the magic of membership and raise a toast to the most delightful season of the year!

Eligibility
Disney Vacation Club Members who are eligible for Membership Extras benefits may attend this event. Members must also have valid admission to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on one of the event dates listed above. Theme park admission is not part of the ownership interest and is sold separately.
A Member can attend and bring up to 4 additional Guests per Membership (for a total 5).
Other Important Information
The purchase of a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event ticket is required.
Registration is not required for Disney Vacation Club Very Member Merriment at Gaston’s Tavern.
A valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at check-in.
Your Digital Membership Card should be added to the digital wallet of your mobile device before arrival, as using the temporary card will not expedite the check-in process.
The Member listed on the Digital Membership Card must be in attendance.

We have your latest look on the construction progress at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom
Construction at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom continues to progress ahead of the attractions ‘late 2024’ opening. The splash-mountain replacement is being re-themed inside and out to match the bayou theme of the attraction. We were able to snap a few photos of the construction status recently and have them ready to share with you!
Work on the queue area continues, with new pathways being installed. Many of the path railings have been removed as part of the construction, and we will have to keep an eye out to see if they are re-installed or if the railings are also replaced.
The area of the ride adjacent to the walkway in Fronteirland is getting an increased amount of attention, as it appears Disney is preparing to install some type of focal point or feature here.
The temporary walkways that were installed around this area have been removed, signaling the end of the installation of new greenery. A small piece of construction scaffolding is in place, which means work may not be 100% complete on this area.
The new mural looks great and is an amazing focal point in the queue. We are excited to see how the attraction’s new queue area turns out!

We have new details of the all new Evermore Orlando Resort, which will be located right next-door to Walt Disney World!
Guests visiting Walt Disney World resort in 2024 will have an amazing new resort to choose from. Evermore Orlando Resort, which will feature 2013 bedrooms throughout 69 houses ranging in size from five to eleven bedrooms; 206 four-bedroom flats; and 41 two- and four-bedroom villas. The resort, which will open to guests on January 1, 2024, is located right next door to Walt Disney World Resort and close to both Universal Orlando Resort and Orlando International Airport.
According to Evermore, the resort debut “marks the introduction of a groundbreaking resort category with purposefully crafted luxury vacation rentals that redefines the guest experience.” The resort offers the convenience of renting an entire home with the amenities and services traditionally associated with luxury resorts. The opening will also debut Orlando’s first Conrad Hotel, Hilton’s luxury brand, featuring 433 contemporary-styled guest room accommodations, including 51 suites, 10 spacious family suites, and the Conrad Spa with an outdoor water garden.
Evermore Orlando Resort guests will enjoy a wide array of amenities, including a 20-acre tropical beach complex, an 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons, 15 restaurants, bars and food markets, two 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses, and more.

The 50th Anniversary Medallions on the golden statues at Walt Disney World have been replaced by new white medallions
Disney installed 50 golden statues, known as the Fab 50 Character Collection, across the 4 theme parks at the Walt Disney World resort as part of the recent 50th anniversary celebrations. Now that the 50th anniversary has passed, the 50th anniversary medallions have been removed from the golden statues and replaced by all-new white medallions.
The white medallions have been installed on each statue, with the white coloring of the medallions popping on the golden statue. The color of these new medallions is much more noticeable than the 50th anniversary medallions, which were gold and blended in with the statue.
The logo on each medallion matches each character the medallion is associated with, providing a bit of customization to each Fab 50 character.

Over 700 families of fallen U.S. Military Service Members were recently hosted at Walt Disney World Resort by Disney and the Gary Sinise Foundation
This week, Disney welcomed over 700 families of fallen military heroes to the annual Gary Sinise Foundation “Snowball Express” event at Walt Disney World. Disney, known for its long-standing support of the U.S. military community, proudly hosts these families from over 80 cities across the nation and abroad.
The Gary Sinese Foundation notes the Snowball Express is a ” five-day experience for 1,750+ children of the fallen and the surviving spouse/guardian. With special time to honor their fallen and a blend of fun entertainment and inspiring programs, these families can lean on their peers for support.”
A highlight of this five-day retreat, which kicked off on December 2, is the “Walk of Gratitude” at Magic Kingdom Park, an event eagerly supported by Disney cast members. In the early hours, before dawn, over 1,100 Disney VoluntEARS gathered to honor the families as they walked towards Cinderella Castle in a moving celebration of their fallen loved ones. Sinese noted “While our hearts are heavy at the circumstances that brought these families together, I am grateful we can wrap our arms around them, that we can honor them while remembering their loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of freedom,”
Disney will host a second week of the Snowball Express event from Dec. 9-13. This second week will honor over 350 families of fallen first responders, recognizing their immense contributions to our communities.

Disney fans widely praise Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs as a resort that carries a deluxe feel at a moderate price point. The tower is expansive and elegant, and a stay there is always high on our Disney must-do list. The resort looks even more magical during this time of year, as the Christmas decorations have been installed!
The massive tree in the lobby provides a great holiday focal point, especially when you look down on it from the check-in area. There are also Christmas wreaths and lights situated around the lobby and work areas, adding a great holiday feel and atmosphere to the entire resort.
The tree at Gran Destino Tower is even more impressive up close. The decorations fit in well with the theme of the resort, and the massive tree looks like it was plucked out of a holiday movie.

New Star Wars Fireworks Experience Coming to Disneyland
A new Star Wars fireworks experience is coming to Disneyland during Season of the Force next year! Guests can experience new and returning Star Wars experiences from April 5 through June 2, 2024.
Season of the Force arrives at Disneyland park with Hyperspace Mountain and specially themed food and beverage, merchandise and more for a limited time. Debuting during the celebration, you’ll be able to embark on new adventures aboard Star Tours – The Adventures Continue.
Guests can already see the fireworks from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. During Season of the Force the area will provide fresh perspective on the fireworks above Disneyland park, with galactic music sweeping through the spires.

Yes, you read that right! Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King, has arrived in Dreamlight Valley! In October, players were able to unlock a few Disney “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”-inspired cosmetics, furniture pieces, and an animal companion, but this time, Gameloft took it one step further so players can welcome Jack and set up his house in their Valley.
Visit Your Friends With Multiplayer
If you’ve bought all the items in Scrooge McDuck’s Store and are looking for something different, with the new multiplayer feature you can visit your friends’ Valleys and have the option to purchase from theirs. Players can host up to three friends to visit their Valley where you can trade resources, enter each other’s homes, and explore how your friends have chosen to decorate their biomes.
Brand-New Storyline
Set sail for Eternity Isle, which had been lost in time thanks to Jafar’s meddling with magic, in the Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time paid expansion. Discover many secrets and mysteries as you restore the island, thwarting Jafar’s plans to steal the Spark of Imagination in this brand-new storyline unfolding in three acts.
Explore New Biomes
Ancient’s Landing, Wild Tangle, and Glittering Dunes are the three new biomes on Eternity Isle and each comes with its own unique new flora, fauna, and ingredients. Once a port town to an ancient civilization, players will explore the ruins of Ancient’s Landing and rebuild the marketplace with the opportunity to add a new location for Chéz Remy, Scrooge’s Shop and more!
Acquire A New Royal Tool
A new storyline also means players will get a new Royal Tool to help them in their quest to stop Jafar. As a result of his experiments with magic, the island is covered in Mist, Time Rifts and Swirling Sands that can be cleared by retrieving the Royal Hourglass.
Befriend A Little White Robot
Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time expansion brings new friends! EVE can be found guarding the Royal Hourglass in Ancient’s Landing. Once you gain her trust, players will be roaming the island fixing time rifts and perhaps finding Relics that had been long forgotten. You can also reunite EVE with WALL•E!
Have The Best Day Ever With A Long-lost Princess
Since leaving her tower, Rapunzel has been enjoying the grass beneath her feet and fresh air in the Wild Tangle, a lush jungle on Eternity Isle. You’ll unlock her unique Friendship Quests and help Rapunzel rediscover her love for painting and earn rewards inspired by Disney’s “Tangled.”
No One Gets Lost Like …
Poor Gaston ran out of water and misses his daily intake of five dozen eggs when he became disoriented in the dry desert lands known as the Glittering Dunes. Once he has been rescued, he’ll offer the player lessons in heroics through his Friendship Quests. After completing his quests players can add new decorations to their homes, including a few wooden antlers.
Capybaras! Monkeys! And Cobra Snakes?
New biomes mean new animal critters to feed and befriend. The highly sociable capybaras can be found in Ancient’s Landing, while the mischievous monkeys hang out around the Wild Tangle, and the cobra snakes slither about in the Glittering Dunes.

Huge Christmas Tree is Now Up at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
The giant Christmas tree is now up in the lobby at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! Along with the large gingerbread house, the tree makes the Grand Floridian one of our favorite spots to visit during the holidays.
Reaching a height of almost 40 feet, the Christmas tree situated at the Grand Floridian stands as one of Disney World’s most expansive indoor holiday trees. The assembly of this tree is a captivating overnight spectacle orchestrated by what some visitors playfully dub as “Santa’s Elves.” Beyond being an impressive structure, this Christmas tree serves as a narrative work of art. It is adorned with ornaments and decorations that intricately depict the gifts from “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
Alongside the towering tree, the expansive lobby showcases additional Christmas decorations inspired by the Victorian era. Vibrant red poinsettias embellish the trees, contributing to the festive atmosphere. A noteworthy inclusion in this year’s decor is the captivating snowflake ornaments that showcase the theme of “The 12 Days of Christmas,” enhancing the holiday ambiance with a touch of magic.
