Nicolas Cage to Star in Live-Action Spider-Man Noir Series
Get ready for a web-slinging adventure unlike any other! Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage is set to star as Spider-Man Noir in a brand new live-action series titled “Noir,” coming to MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video.
This marks the first time the popular Spider-Man variant will be brought to life on screen outside of animation. Previously voiced by Cage in the critically-acclaimed “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” the character will take center stage in this gritty noir-inspired drama.
A collaboration between Sony and Amazon, “Noir” boasts a powerhouse team. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot lead as co-showrunners alongside “Into the Spider-Verse” producers Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Emmy winner Harry Bradbeer will executive produce and direct the first two episodes.
“Noir” is the second Sony-Marvel project at Amazon, joining “Silk: Spider Society.” With hundreds of Spider-Man characters under Sony’s control, the future of this web-slinging universe is bright!

Raven’s Home Spin-Off Series Alice In The Palace Announced
It’s the end of an era for one beloved Disney Channel sitcom, but the beginning of a new chapter for its star. After six seasons, “Raven’s Home” has concluded its run, but Raven-Symoné isn’t going anywhere. In fact, she’s inked a multi-year overall deal with Disney Branded Television, opening doors for exciting new projects.
The deal includes a greenlight for a new pilot titled “Alice in the Palace,” a spinoff from “Raven’s Home.” This new series will star Emmy-winning actress Mykal-Michelle Harris as Alice, Raven’s younger cousin. The story follows Alice’s return to England where she reunites with her doppelganger, the young royal Duchess Clementine (also played by Harris). Fans can expect hilarious hijinks as Alice experiences the “normal” life and Clementine gets a taste of royalty.
“Raven’s Home” veterans Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas will continue their magic behind the scenes, writing and executive producing the pilot for “Alice in the Palace.”
This new venture is a testament to Raven-Symoné’s long-standing and successful relationship with Disney. “Disney Channel has been the canvas for my creative expressions since I was 15 years old,” Raven-Symoné said in a statement. “I’m excited to embark on the next chapter of this creative journey alongside my Disney family.”
Fans will remember Raven-Symoné’s rise to fame as the lead in the 90s hit “That’s So Raven,” which “Raven’s Home” was a spinoff of. Her Disney resume also includes starring in and executive producing the popular “Cheetah Girls” movies and gracing the Broadway stage. Beyond acting, Raven-Symoné has also stepped behind the camera, directing episodes for Disney Channel shows like “Sydney to the Max” and “Pretty Freekin Scary.”

Gideon’s Bakehouse owner, Steve Lewis, has officially responded to allegations of unsafe and discriminatory practices at the bakery.
Lewis asserts that the establishment adheres to all health and safety standards, fosters an inclusive environment, and strives to create a welcoming space for both customers and employees.
I’m reaching out personally as the owner of Gideon’s Bakehouse. This week, an anonymous source made a variety of accusations about our little world. I want you to hear directly from me that we take every single claim very seriously, internal or external. If we have a common phrase on our team, it’s the question, “What’s the right thing to do?”
Please rest assured, we comply fully with all health and safety regulations, and have a track record of doing so since I started as a pop-up in the East End Market 9 years ago. We’re proud of our record—regular inspections have consistently shown that we meet, and often exceed, the strict standards required of us.
As soon as these accusations went public, we talked to each and every member of our crew to be sure they felt safe and heard, reminding them that they are valued and we’re all in this together. Gideon’s is not a giant company. I am a single-owner business with no partners or investors. Our days are worth it when we look out for each other, making life a little better with each day. That is our culture. There is no hierarchical structure. Any member of the team can reach me directly 24/7 to share their thoughts.

Walt Disney World Resort just unveiled a new Chip ‘n Dale bus wrap! This is one of their 90 brand new buses featuring an improved system for guests using mobility devices.
You can catch the new Chip ‘n’ Dale bus cruising the All-Star Sports Resort route! It’s easy to spot with its bright red, white, and yellow stripes. Plus, you can’t miss Dale’s grinning face prominently displayed between the bus doors.
While both Chip and Dale are adorable chipmunks, Dale’s the one who’ll make you smile a little wider! Look for his bright red nose, like a stop sign, and his two buck teeth that make him extra charming.
And on the other side of the bus, you’ll find Chip! This little guy’s a bit more subtle, sporting a cute black button nose and a single tooth.

Universal Orlando has just dropped a thrilling announcement for Halloween Horror Nights fans! The official X account of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights revealed the first of ten haunted house themes for this year’s event: “Slaughter Sinema 2.”
The theme for the house appears to be a spine-chilling sequel, transporting guests back to the eerie world of B-movie horror at the infamous Carey Drive-in, the same setting that terrified visitors in 2018. The announcement on X states “If you’re dying for a b-movie horror marathon, head to the Carey Drive-in. Scream through scenes from creature features, grindhouse gore, spaghetti westerns and more.”

Cava, a Connecticut restaurant renowned for its extravagant decor, has launched an enchanting “Beauty and the Beast” dining experience. This magical transformation features a ballroom inspired by Versailles, complete with gold throne chairs, intricate hand-carved wood panels, and a custom Swarovski chandelier. Another room captures the charm of Belle’s provincial hometown with a bakery, cheese shop, boutique, bookstore, tavern, and flower shop, all meticulously designed to transport guests into the beloved fairy tale.
According to CT Insider, guests like PJ Mackey and Tracy Troy have been thrilled by the surprise and immersive atmosphere. Mackey, who visited with his girlfriend, found the decorations and ambiance delightful, while Troy, celebrating her daughter’s wedding, was moved by the nostalgic experience and detailed setup.
