New Walt Disney World 2024 Apparel And Accessories Spotted At Magic Kingdom!

Fun and colorful Walt Disney World 2024 apparel and accessories are now available at Magic Kingdom, as well as, online at shopDisney! The collection features shirts, bags and hats featuring our favorite mouse couple and the Cinderella castle in neon colors.

There are two different t-shirts available, one is black with “2024” on the front and Mickey on the back with park icons all around and 2024, there’s also a white version with Minnie Mouse artwork on the front featuring the Walt Disney World 2024 logo and park icons!

A black long sleeve is also available for those chilly days with Cinderella Castle plus themed park icons, Walt Disney World 2024 logo and a rainbow featuring Dumbo and Buzz Lightyear. There’s also a blue 2024 hoodie and woven button up with an all over pattern in neon colors featuring Mickey & Minnie.

For hats, we found a black baseball hat with Disney World themed park icons like the Tree of Life, Spaceship Earth, Cinderella Castle and Tower of Terror plus 2024 Walt Disney World logo in neon colors. If you prefer bucket hats, a blue one with the 2024 logo on the front is available as well!

Finally, for bags, there’s a new 2024 Loungefly Backpack with an all over pattern of beloved Disney characters and attraction icons plus 2024 logo! A black sling bag with an all over pattern of Mickey & Minnie plus park icons in neon colors is also available for a more practical bag style.

The gigantic Christmas Tree is decorated and ready for the holidays at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Upon first stepping into the lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, guests find their eyes gazing upward at the majestic ceilings and intricate woodwork that adorn the resort. The cathedral-height ceilings are perfect for the holiday season, as they allow the Wilderness Lodge to display a MASSIVE Christmas Tree!

The massive tree stands an impressive 60 feet tall, and is decorated for the season with touches that tie in the theme of the resort.

The fun-themed ornaments we noted on the tree include a bear, canoe, and teepee.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has a lineup of holiday treats that pair perfectly with a stroll around the resort

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is an amazing resort to visit during the holidays. The warm, national park feel of the resort pairs perfectly with the holiday decorations. The resort’s lobby, with a gigantic Christmas tree and a beautiful fireplace, provides the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day in the parks. To make this downtime extra special, Disney has released a lineup of holiday treats that should not be missed.

The holiday treats include a variety of cookies, drinks, and even a gingerbread house kit!

The gingerbread house kit is a fun way to bring a bit of Disney magic home, even if you are unable to replicate the perfectly executed house that is on display in the resort.

The lineup of cookies and treats looks so amazing, it would be tough to choose just one (or two, or three).

The Chocolate Surprise would make a great stocking stuffer or Christmas Eve activity, and the resort does feature gluten-free options for those with gluten sensitivities.

New Polynesian Resort DVC Tower will be Part of Current Association

The new Disney Vacation Club Tower currently under construction at Disney’s Polynesian Resort will be part of the current association.

Disney has just announced an important update for their new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The new tower will join the same group as the existing DVC areas at the Polynesian!

This update brings exciting benefits for both current and prospective DVC members, as it allows current DVC members at the Polynesian will be able to book rooms in the new tower and provides new members purchasing in the tower access to the existing studios and bungalows.

This news is especially beneficial for existing members who have been seeking larger accommodations, as the new tower will offer one-bedroom and two-bedroom options. New members will also find it easier to book the sought-after bungalows, thanks to the expanded booking options.

This update is also great news for those interested in buying resale DVC memberships. Resale buyers of Polynesian contracts will now enjoy unrestricted access to other DVC resorts, enhancing the value of these memberships.

The new Polynesian DVC tower is currently under construction and set to open sometime next year.

The Have Decked The Halls at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a deluxe resort hotel that is located in the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World. The resort’s design drew inspiration from turn-of-the-century National Park lodges, providing a warm and inviting feel inside and out. The log-cabin-like interior also provides the perfect backdrop for holiday decorations, which have been installed throughout the resort!

The towering ceilings and decor throughout the resort provide the perfect backdrop for the holiday decorations, which consist of a variety of wreaths, swags, and lights.

The massive tree in the lobby is awe-inspiring, and smaller trees are also located throughout the resort-including outside of Whispering Canyon.

Many of the resort’s decorations contain fun theme elements that tie back into the resort, such as this swag that has a hidden owl peaking out.

H2O+ Bath Products to remain at Disney Resort Hotels under new brand

Great news fellow H2O+ Bath Products lovers: the bath products that have become synonymous for many families with a Disney vacation will continue to be provided under a new brand!

Earlier this year, the manufacturer of the H2O Bath Products announced they were planning to stop producing the fan-favorite products. Disney just announced they have purchased the formulas for the products, and will start to produce them under an internal Disney resorts brand!

The products are beloved by Disney fans, who often purchase extra shampoos and soaps from the resort gift shops to use at home between Disney trips. We are delighted to hear the brand will continue being provided in Disney Resort Hotels under the Disney umbrella!

Tokyo DisneySea Shares Behind the Scenes Look at Construction of Elsa’s Ice Palace

Elsa’s ice palace is coming to Tokyo DisneySea and the resort shared a behind the scenes look at the construction. The palace is coming to Frozen Kingdom, one of three new areas coming to Fantasy Springs in the park.

The Tokyo Disney Resort shared a video featuring concept art, clips of construction, and a final look at Elsa’s Ice Palace. Take a look:

Frozen Kingdom encompasses Arendelle and the distant North Mountain, in a timeline between the first and second Frozen films. Queen Elsa, having embraced her icy powers, opens the castle gates for visitors to freely wander.

Immerse yourself in a heartwarming attraction narrating Elsa and Anna’s tale aboard boats, featuring iconic songs and unexpected thrills. Additionally, relish a dining experience within Arendelle Castle, nestled at the base of stunning snow-covered mountains.

Fantasy Springs will open on June 6, 2024.

Tennis Legend Serena Williams Visits Walt Disney World for the Holidays

Tennis legend Serena Williams visited Walt Disney World with her family for the holidays! Accompanied by her husband, Alexis Ohanian and their daughter Olympia, Williams indulged in a variety of enchanting experiences, including enjoying some of Disney’s most popular attractions.

Williams and her family explored the all-new Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT. They interacted with water in unique ways and discovered its playful personality. After that, Williams and Olympia had a special encounter with Moana, getting wayfinding lessons from the expert.

And the fun didn’t stop there. Williams and her family went by Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom to greet Princess Tiana before having a quick chat with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse near Cinderella Castle.

“Disney is literally my favorite place to come to on the planet,” Williams said of her visit. “There are just so many things to do.”

Williams retired from tennis after the 2022 US Open as arguably the greatest player in women’s tennis history.

Santa Meet and Greet Happening Now in the Magic Kingdom

Guests visiting Magic Kingdom can experience a Santa meet and greet! The meet and greet can be found in Liberty Square daily.

The Santa meet and greet takes place in a decorated gazebo behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square. He meets periodically between 10 am and 5 pm daily. There is a large red bench he sits on with space for little ones to sit next to him. Around the bench are giant Christmas presents and poinsettias.

The jolly man himself is dressed in a classic red velvet suit with white fur trim, large black belt, and black boots. Guests can get some pictures with him and tell him what’s on their Christmas wish list.
