As EPCOT nears the end of its ambitious transformation project, another significant milestone has been reached with the unveiling of the World Celebration Wall at Dreamers Point. This event marks the removal of several construction barriers in the area, opening up a newly completed space that promises to enhance the guest experience significantly.

Dreamers Point, already enriched by the addition of a new statue of Walt Disney, has been partially hidden behind construction walls until now. Construction walls have been removed, revealing the intricately designed wall that provides an amazing aesthetic to the area.

Breeze Airways budget flights between Disney World and Disneyland Resort Resume

Breeze Airways is bringing back its popular “Disney to Disney” flights, offering budget-friendly travel between Walt Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. Starting in June 2024, after a brief hiatus, the airline will resume seasonal services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. These flights connect Orlando International Airport (MCO) and John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California (SNA), each conveniently located about 20-25 minutes from their respective Disney parks (traffic depending).

The resumed flights cater to Disney enthusiasts looking for an affordable and efficient way to experience both parks. With one-way tickets starting at $89, Breeze Airways aims to make magical vacations accessible to more families and travelers. This route simplifies travel plans for visitors eager to explore the enchantments of both coasts without the hassle of long travel times or high costs.

Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows Construction Update for June 2024

The all-new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is slated to open in December 2024. The new building, when completed, will be a 10-story tower overlooking the stunning views of the Seven Seas Lagoon. It will add 268 DVC rooms to the Polynesian ranging in size from duo studios to spacious one- and two-bedroom villas to brand-new two-bedroom penthouse villas. We recently reviewed the construction progress on the new tower and have updated photos ready to share with you.

Our view of the updates is from the exterior, so we unfortunately do not have a good view of what progress is being made on the interior. Large sections of the tower have been painted, with scaffolding up in several sections as this work continues.

In the areas in which the painting has not started, you can see the comparison between the original concrete and the painted exterior.

The size and scale of the tower is striking when comparing the new building to the existing Polynesian buildings.

Magic Kingdom’s favorite chipmunks, Chip and Dale, have relocated from Tomorrowland to a new greeting spot along the Rivers of America Riverwalk in Frontierland. This picturesque setting offers a serene backdrop, complete with the gentle flow of the river and the rustic charm of the area, perfect for meeting these playful characters.

As the 5th anniversary of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge approaches, Disney is set to release a special collectible that is sure to excite both avid collectors and casual fans alike. The new ‘Hilt of a Jedi’ box set, featuring a Legacy LIGHTSABER hilt inspired by Ki-Adi-Mundi, will be available starting tomorrow at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, as well as online at DisneyStore.com.

If you’re a fan of Tex-Mex and find yourself at Disney World, chances are you’ll make your way to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. Nestled in the rustic ambiance of Frontierland at Magic Kingdom, this quick-service eatery has been a staple for those seeking a taste of the Southwest. The menu, featuring staples like tacos, nachos, fajitas, and customizable bowls, offers a versatile dining experience that caters to nearly every palate.

However, a recent change has left some regulars less than pleased. It appears that black beans, a key ingredient for many, have vanished from the menu, replaced silently by pinto beans. This shift might seem minor to some, but for aficionados of the specific, earthy taste and smoother texture of black beans, this is a significant switch.

Pecos bill 3 — The now-defunct Pecos Bill’s Toppings Bar

This change is part of a broader trend at Pecos Bill’s, which has seen the disappearance of beloved features such as the customizable toppings bar. This self-serve buffet of sorts, allowing guests to pile on lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and more, was a highlight for many. It provided a personalized dining experience unique in the fast-paced environment of theme park dining. Sadly, the toppings bar did not return after the park’s reopening post-pandemic closures, leaving guests nostalgic for the days of heaping extras on their dishes.

As with all changes, feedback from visitors will likely determine if this new bean swap becomes permanent or if black beans make a triumphant return. Until then, guests will have to adjust their expectations and perhaps find new ways to enjoy their favorite Tex-Mex dishes, pinto beans and all.

The Walt Disney Company has once again secured a spot on TIME magazine’s prestigious TIME100 Most Influential Companies list, highlighting its sustained impact on the global stage. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Disney has been honored with this recognition since the list’s inception in 2021.

First Look at New Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Cast Member Costumes from the Magic Kingdom

As excitement builds for the June 28th opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, cast members got a special preview of the reimagined attraction and debuted their new attire.

The costumes, a blend of classic Frontierland style and New Orleans flair, feature light brown pants, brown boots, and blue patterned shirts with either white or darker blue detailing. A festive touch is added with yellow, purple, and green Mardi Gras-inspired ascots.

Adding to the bayou charm, cast members stationed near the attraction’s splashdown were seen sporting yellow-gold flat caps, reminiscent of classic “newsies” hats.

Moana is back and setting sail for a record-breaking adventure! Walt Disney Animation Studios unveiled the teaser trailer for “Moana 2” across social media, and it’s making waves.

Starring Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson once again as Moana and Maui, the trailer shattered Disney history for an animated trailer launch. With a whopping 178 million views in just 24 hours, it surpassed previous records held by “Inside Out 2” (157 million), “Frozen 2” (116 million), and even “Incredibles 2” (113 million). Get ready to dive back into the world of Moana – the hype is real!

“Moana remains an incredibly popular franchise,” Bob Iger, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company, said when the sequel was announced in February. “And we can’t wait to give you more of Moana and Maui when Moana 2 comes to theaters this November.”

Proving its staying power, Moana (2016) held the title of most-streamed movie in 2023, according to Nielsen data. This love for the characters, music, and story is sure to translate to excitement for Moana 2!

Pixar Considering Rebooting The Incredibles and Finding Nemo

Pixar is looking to revisit fan favorites! According to a Bloomberg report, the studio is considering rebooting some of its films, like The Incredibles and Finding Nemo. This comes as Pixar ramps up production of sequels and franchise films alongside original stories.

The studio is hoping to tap into existing fan bases and recreate the magic that made these movies so successful in the first place. This could mean renewed interest in merchandise and theme park attractions as well.

Pixar is betting big on Inside Out 2, but according to a report, success isn’t guaranteed. The animation studio’s future slate might depend on how audiences react to the sequel. If the film falls short, Pixar could shift its focus towards established franchises instead of original ideas. The pressure is on for Inside Out 2 to prove that these beloved stories can still resonate with audiences.

Inside Out 2 is riding a wave of excitement! The sequel’s trailer smashed Disney’s record for an animated film launch, racking up a whopping 157 million views in just 24 hours. That’s even bigger than the popular premieres of Frozen 2, Encanto, and Moana! This phenomenal response bodes well for the film, especially considering it’s been nearly a decade since fans last joined Riley and her emotions on screen. With a somewhat unpredictable movie market these days, Inside Out 2 appears to be generating a lot of positive buzz.
