Her desire to blend in with her peers leads her down a harmful path, challenging her perspective of both who she is and where she belongs. Directed by Searit Huluf and produced by Eric Rosales, “Self” is the latest from Pixar’s acclaimed SparkShorts program.

New Princess Aurora Sipper Debuts in Disneyland

A new Princess Aurora sipper has arrived at the Disneyland Resort! The new sipper is just like the Princess Belle sipper that was released last fall.

The sipper is a tall pink plastic cup, and features a translucent pink straw that wraps around the entirety of the cup. Art printed on the cup itself includes images of Flora, Fauna, Merryweather, Aurora’s crown, her birthday cake, and more.

At the top of the sipper stands Aurora in her iconic pink ballgown from the animated film. She has a blue bird perched on her hand. The straw comes up to the side of the cup so you can sip away with the figure still attached.

The sipper is available at Red Rose Taverne and Refreshment Corner in Disneyland and Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream in Disney California Adventure. It is $19.79 and comes with your choice of fountain beverage at time of purchase. There is a limit of 10 per person, per transaction.

Disneyland Pledges $100 Million for Anaheim if Expansion Moves Forward

The Disneyland Resort is pledging over $100 million for Anaheim streets, parking, and affordable housing as part of a proposed agreement for the resort expansion project.

According to the Orange County Register, Disney will commit to investing at least $1.9 billion into the Disneyland Resort over the next decade, along with providing millions more for housing and parks.

A development agreement was presented on Tuesday at a City Council workshop. It would give Disney flexibility to choose where it builds new theme park areas, hotels and dining within its existing footprint. It would also guarantee the city the continued investment into the resort, along with $30 million for affordable housing and $8 million for parks and money for nearby road improvements.

Half of the $30 million for affordable housing would be paid in the first year and the rest in five years. The $8 million for parks would be for the city to use at its discretion. As for the road improvements, Disney proposed to buying some streets from the city for $40 million.

“We listened to Anaheim’s leaders and worked hard to address what is important for the city,” Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort, said in a statement. “We are proud that DisneylandForward will provide many important benefits directly to the residents of Anaheim.”

DisneylandForward is the Disneyland Resort’s proposal to update the resort over the coming years. It could be one of the largest developments in Anaheim. The expansion would allow for more integrated, immersive experiences at Disneyland.

There will be another workshop to discuss the project next month. Hearings are expected to be held in April and May and the City Council is expected to vote on the project by spring.

Disneyland Resort Features “Celebrate Gospel” and Celebrate Soulfully in February

In honor of Black History Month, Disneyland will feature Celebrate Soulfully offerings, including “Celebrate Gospel” concerts, in February!

Throughout the year, guests can discover Celebrate Soulfully experiences inspired by Black heritage and culture, such as the opportunity to meet Ariel from the live-action film “The Little Mermaid,” Tiana’s Palace restaurant, the “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje” experience and more.

A resort tradition for more than a decade, the “Celebrate Gospel” concerts return to the Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland Park, headlined by Marvin Sapp on Saturday, Feb. 17, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard on Saturday, Feb. 24. This annual tribute to Gospel music brings together award-winning artists and community choirs from across Southern California.

From Feb. 1 through 29, the soulful celebration expands during Black History Month with limited-time menu items, such as the fried chicken bowl and sweet potato pie casserole from Troubadour Tavern.

Starting January 27-28, SeaWorld Orlando introduces the new Just for Kids Weekend, filled with interactive activities, character photos, and live shows. This event coincides with Sesame Street Land’s 5th Birthday Celebration, featuring a new parade, a birthday breakfast, special character visits, and more. Additionally, Elmo’s Birthday Celebration returns on January 29, offering a DJ dance party, a group sing-along, storytime, crafts, and photo ops with Sesame Street characters!

Disney Beach Club Merch Collection Spotted At Disney World!

We found this charming Disney Beach Club Merch Collection at the resort in Walt Disney World! It includes kitchenware, accessories and home decor that will bring the magic of Disney to your home.

Let’s start with these fun pieces to have your favorite milkshake or ice cream! The mug is white with that is looks like a cupcake with Mickey ears on top and reusable straw and the bowl is shaped like a Mickey Mouse sundae, they are adorable.

The collection also features two travel tumblers with two different designs, one features Minnie & Mickey enjoying a delicious sundae and looking super elegant! The second tumbler features Mickey enjoying a nice day at the beach.

There’s also a Corkcicle tumbler in white with the Disney Beach Club logo on the front in orange and teal colors. It can be yours for $44.99.

For accessories, we found the Disney Beach Club Minnie Ears featuring light blue and white stripped ears with a darker blue stripped bow featuring a Mickey Mouse ice cream cone charm in the middle, super sweet!

Monster Makeover Experience is Coming Soon to Universal Orlando

Hey, all you monster fans and thrill-seekers! Get ready for some hair-raising fun because Universal Orlando Resort is about to unveil something monstrously exciting: an all-new Monster Makeover experience!

This eerie and exciting makeover boutique is setting up shop in the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida. You’ll find it nestled inside the 5 & 10 store near the rear of the store in what used to be an old stock room.

SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival Returns on February 2nd

SeaWorld Orlando is starting 2024 with a bang by bringing back the much-loved Seven Seas Food Festival. This year, the festival is set to tantalize taste buds with an array of ALL-NEW flavors, adding even more excitement to this already popular event. Running on select dates from February 2 through May 19, it’s Orlando’s largest theme park food festival, where guests can enjoy flavors from around the globe while exploring top-notch attractions and animal presentations.

The festival boasts over 200 food and drink options, inspired by diverse cultures worldwide. Food enthusiasts and families alike will embark on a culinary journey through international marketplaces scattered across the park. These markets will feature delicacies from countries like Italy, Ireland, Brazil, Germany, Asia, and more.

Some of the exciting NEW food items this year include:

Fried Pickles with Texas Petal Sauce.
Whisky Maple Bacon Cinnamon Roll: A sweet cinnamon roll topped with crispy bacon and whiskey maple glaze.
Bangers and Mash: Guinness sausage with Boursin mashed potatoes, peas, and gravy.
St. Patrick’s Day Nachos: Crispy potato chips topped with corned beef, cheese, and red cabbage.
Tempura Battered Sushi: A deep-fried California roll topped with masago and eel sauce.
Deep-Fried Dumpling: An Asian vegetable medley with Ponzu sauce.
Boudin Balls with Remoulade Sauce: Cajun rice balls with ground pork & chicken, topped with remoulade sauce.

This year, the festival welcomes four ALL-NEW markets: the Indian Market, French Market, Vegetarian Market, and Half Pipe Pavilion.

At the Indian Market, near Infinity Falls, guests can try:

Garlic Na’an with Chickpea Curry: Tomato cream stew with peas and chutney.
Chicken Tikka Masala: Tomato cream sauce with peppers and jasmine rice.
Jalebi: A crispy, fluffy Indian funnel cake with wildflower honey.

The French Market features classic French flavors with dishes like:

Duck Confit with Tabais Bean.
Escargot: With garlic butter and crostini.
Mini Crème Brûlée: Rich vanilla custard with caramelized sugar.

The Veggie Market, located on the Pipeline Pathway, offers meatless delights such as:

Veg’d Out Sandwich: Soybean chicken patty on a brioche bun with green goddess, arugula, and tomato.
Taco ‘Bout It: Plant-based chorizo with pico de gallo, lettuce, and crema.
Lil’ Fruit Tart: With lime, mango, dairy-free custard, and lavender.

Half Pipe Pavilion will feature several specialty cocktails including various vodka lemonades and non-alcoholic peach lemonade.

Other ALL-NEW cocktails to enjoy around the world include:

Pipeline: A mix of Henricks Gin, Tito’s Vodka, Bacardi Rum, and more.
Mango Margarita: Milagro Tequila with mango and lime sour.
Mediterranean Sangria: Red wine with cranberry juice and fruits.
Frozen Pitaya Punch: Bacardi Light Rum with dragon fruit and cranberry.

Beer enthusiasts can relax at the beer garden or Flamecraft Bar, featuring local and regional brews like Toboggan Blonde Ale, Raspberry Sour, Florida Sunshine, and Jai Alai IPA.
