A WHOLE NEW SOUND Track list & Release Date Revealed Today

Mickey Mouse and his friends are thrilled to announce New Found Glory’s “Part of Your World” as the next single and video from the highly anticipated album, A Whole New Sound! Additionally, they have unveiled the full track list for the collection, set for release on September 6, as well as the kick-off for vinyl pre-orders that are set to release on October 4.

A Whole New Sound features iconic Disney songs reimagined by pop-punk pioneers, alternative rock hitmakers, and pop sensations. Starting tonight, September 15, at 9 p.m. PT / midnight ET, music fans can pre-add the album on Apple Music and pre-save the album on Spotify.

New Found Glory, the multi-platinum pop-punk veterans, take the plunge into the sea with their electrifying rendition of “Part of Your World,” originally from Disney’s The Little Mermaid (1989). This energetic cover injects a fresh dose of punk rock spirit into Ariel’s classic yearning for adventure. Beginning tonight at 9 p.m. PT / midnight ET, “Part of Your World” by New Found Glory will be available on all streaming platforms.

But while excitement builds for this new addition, Josh Gad, the beloved voice of Olaf from Frozen, has taken to social media to rally support for another iconic attraction that may be at risk: Muppet Vision 3D.

Guests visiting Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom may once again find themselves short a classic attraction. The Walt Disney World Railroad will likely experience another extended period of downtime as significant changes are planned for the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island areas.

Starting in 2025, according to newly submitted permits, the railroad’s tracks will be positioned between the construction staging area and the active site on Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America. To facilitate the movement of vehicles and materials across the tracks, the railroad is expected to be taken out of service.

This closure will likely mirror the extended downtime seen during the construction of TRON Lightcycle Run, where the railroad was closed for four years. During that time, the trains were displayed as static exhibits, first at the Main Street U.S.A. station and later at Fantasyland station, offering guests a close-up look at these historic trains even though they were not in operation.

While no official construction timelines have been confirmed for either the Cars-themed attractions or Villains Land, it is anticipated that both projects will be completed by 2030, with the Cars area expected to open first. The long-awaited reopening date for Space Mountain at Disneyland Park has been revealed. The guest-favorite attraction has been closed for refurbishment.

Space Mountain at Disneyland Park will undergo a month-long refurbishment, closing its doors on August 5 and reopening on September 6. Disney confirmed the reopening date by removing the attraction from its refurbishment calendar. Guests who visited the park in June may have noticed early construction work taking place in the ride’s queue area, hinting at the upcoming closure.

Disneyland’s Space Mountain blasted off in 1977, following the successful launch of its sister attraction at Walt Disney World in 1975. Disneyland Paris joined the cosmic adventure in 1995 with De la Terre à la Lune, a Jules Verne-inspired version. This later transformed into the “Star Wars”-themed Hyperspace Mountain, though rumors of the original’s return persist. Hong Kong Disneyland also entered the Space Mountain race in 2005, but eventually adopted the Hyperspace Mountain theme as well.

Disneyland Paris is adding a touch of magic to its “Disney Electrical Sky Parade” with exclusive drone sequences for both the Halloween and Christmas seasons.

New concept art from Disneyland Paris offers a chilling glimpse into the park’s Halloween festivities. Sleeping Beauty Castle is dramatically reimagined with haunting projections of skeletal trees and eerie characters like an orange ghost and bats.

The Christmas-themed drone sequence will transform the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle into a winter wonderland.
