Fantasmic! Dining Package Prices Go Up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney has put into place a price increase for its popular Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Walt Disney World, bringing a slight uptick to the cost of enjoying a meal at one of five select restaurants before experiencing the mesmerizing Fantasmic! show with VIP seating. The new prices reflect an increase of $6 to $9 for adults, depending on the restaurant, while prices for children largely remain unchanged.

The Fantasmic! Dining Package offers guests a delightful combination of dining and entertainment, ensuring a reserved spot at the nighttime spectacular after a satisfying meal. The package includes an entrée and dessert at a participating full-service restaurant, or a full buffet where applicable, along with a non-alcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for guests 21 and older). Guests also receive a voucher for guaranteed seating at the first showing of Fantasmic!, a breathtaking performance featuring lights, lasers, fireworks, music, and water animation.

Drawn to Life, the enchanting live production by Cirque du Soleil and Disney, has just unveiled its 2025 performance schedule, with tickets now on sale. Starting in 2025, this mesmerizing show will grace the stage at Disney Springs five days a week, with performances on Tuesdays through Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., along with Sunday matinees at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The Lake Mary Little League baseball team recently celebrated their victory as the 2024 Little League World Series champions in true Disney fashion at Walt Disney World Resort. Following their thrilling win against Chinese Taipei, where they clinched the title with a 2-1 victory in extra innings, the team was honored with a magical day at the park, joining the ranks of many sports legends who have celebrated their championships at Disney.

Under a sunny Florida sky, the young athletes and their coaches were greeted with cheers as they paraded down Main Street, U.S.A., alongside Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck, all dressed in their baseball uniforms. Magic Kingdom Experiences Stampede Amidst False Gun Scare

A chaotic scene unfolded at Magic Kingdom on Thursday, August 29, 2024, as guests reported a stampede on Main Street, U.S.A. around the park’s closing time of 10 p.m. Social media posts also indicated a heavy police presence in the area.

Initial reports suggested a gun scare as the catalyst for the panic, but no eyewitnesses have corroborated seeing a weapon or hearing gunshots. Thankfully, no serious injuries have been reported.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) promptly addressed the situation, confirming on X (formerly Twitter) that there was no active shooter at Magic Kingdom. According to their statement, a “popping” sound, possibly from a balloon, during a fight caused the initial panic, leading to the stampede.

Monorail service from Magic Kingdom was temporarily suspended, but guests were still allowed to leave the park.

Disney has since released a statement expressing gratitude to OCSO for their swift response and reassuring the public that operations resumed after the incident and the park is now closed for the night.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is returning to the Disneyland Resort! Join Pluto on a thrilling adventure to find his missing pumpkins. This exciting event kicks off on August 30th and will take place throughout the Disneyland Resort. This year it’s expanding from the Downtown Disney District into Disneyland and Disney California Adventure!

Disneyland Resort has officially announced the return of Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit on August 30th! This year, the beloved scavenger hunt is expanding beyond Downtown Disney District and will take place throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The holiday season is returning to Disneyland starting November 15 and some of our favorite characters will be sporting new holiday costumes!

Mickey, Minnie and some of their friends will debut these charming new outfits in Disneyland park, reminiscent of traditions of writing heartfelt letters to friends, family or even Santa Claus during the holiday season. Featuring striped stockings, detailed embroidery and festive postal trims, these looks have our bright stamp of approval!

Disney shared a sneak peek of Mickey and Minnie’s outfits back during Halfway to the Holidays. Now we know that Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Clarabelle will be joining them with new costumes. All six characters look super cute and festive!
