McDonald’s Spain is giving “Friends” fans a reason to shout “Pivot!” with joy. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic sitcom’s premiere, they’ve launched an adult Happy Meal that’s sure to transport you back to Central Perk.

Forget the tiny toys – this Happy Meal is all about celebrating your inner child with a grown-up twist. Choose from a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, McRoyal Deluxe, CBO, or McChicken, all served with fries and a drink. But the real kicker? Each meal comes with “Monica’s Marinara,” a special sauce created just for this “Friends Box.”

Magic Key Previews for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland

Magic Key holders will have the exclusive opportunity to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure before its grand opening on November 15th at Disneyland.

Dates and details for the exclusive Magic Key holder previews of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be announced on social media.

The new ride will also feature Cast Member previews from October 22nd to November 12th. With the park closing early at 7 PM on November 13th, a media preview may take place that evening.

Disneyland Park Passes for Magic Key holders are currently unavailable for November 15th, as this is the grand opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

This exciting new ride replaces Splash Mountain, which closed permanently in May 2023. To match the theme of the new attraction, Critter Country has been renamed Bayou Country. Additionally, the Briar Patch and part of Pooh Corner will be transformed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure gift shops: Louis’ Critter Club and Ray’s Berets.

The Walt Disney World Resort website has updated the Disney World Resort hotel operations.

“Disney Resort Hotels – Food and Dining

We continue to operate select dining locations for Guests currently staying in our Disney Resort hotels. Please continue to check the food and dining pages on this website or via the My Disney Experience app for the latest details. Please be aware that operating hours and availability may be adjusted as necessary without prior notice.

Additionally, we recommend planning ahead and stopping by any food court or quick-service dining location to pre-purchase breakfast and lunch for Thursday, October 10.”

Disney World and Universal Orlando Now Under Tornado Warning

Residents of Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida are advised to be aware of active tornado warnings, which are in effect until at least 4:30 PM. Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando are both in the tornado warning areas.

Tornado Warning for… Southeastern Orange County in east central Florida… Northeastern Osceola County in east central Florida… Until 430 PM EDT.

Guests at Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are strongly advised to remain indoors due to active tornado warnings in Orange and Osceola Counties. Please take immediate precautions to ensure your safety.

The tornado warning was initially set to expire at 3:30 PM but may be extended. It is crucial to stay informed about the latest weather updates and follow the guidance of local authorities.

Both Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida remain under a tornado watch, which was initially issued earlier today. This means that tornadoes are possible in the area.

Due to the impending Hurricane Milton, Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort theme parks have closed early and will remain closed through Thursday. Guests are currently staying at resort hotels, but Osceola County has issued a curfew.

Walt Disney World to Remain Closed on October 10th Due to Hurricane Milton

Walt Disney World Resort has announced that its theme parks and Disney Springs will remain closed on Thursday, October 10th, as Hurricane Milton continues to pose a significant threat to central Florida. This decision follows the resort’s phased closure of parks and Disney Springs on Wednesday afternoon.

Here is the latest update from Disney World:

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Milton. Based on the latest projection, we are making additional operational adjustments for the safety of our Guests and Cast Members.

The Walt Disney World Emergency Operations Center is connected to weather experts and community leaders. Please know these adjustments have been made in order to leave time for our Guests and Cast Members to return to their Resort hotels or homes safely hours before higher winds are expected to reach Central Florida.

Operational impacts include:

Theme Parks & Disney Springs

On Wednesday, October 9, our theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1:00 PM.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park will close at 1:00 PM.
Magic Kingdom park, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2:00 PM.
Parking garages at Disney Springs will also close at 2:00 PM, and will remain unavailable during the storm.

On Thursday, October 10, our theme parks and Disney Springs will remain closed, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be cancelled (event tickets will be refunded).

For partially used multi-day tickets, ticket expiration dates will be adjusted to expire on October 11, 2025.

Disney Resort Hotel Closures

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 9. They are likely to remain closed until Sunday, October 13.

Transportation

Walt Disney World Transportation will stop operating on Wednesday, October 9 after Disney Springs and the Walt Disney World theme parks close.
Minnie Van service will be temporarily unavailable beginning at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9.
Limited Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests.

Recreation

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf are closed on Wednesday, October 9, and will remain closed on Thursday, October 10. Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park remains closed for planned refurbishment.

Reservations for Dining and Other Experiences

Effective immediately, we will not enforce cancellation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences.

Prepaid bookable experiences will be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 business days.
