It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Magic Kingdom! As you stroll down Main Street, prepare to see Scrooge McDuck’s notorious grumpy mug as Ebenezer Scrooge in the opening window. He’s scowling at poor, hopeful Bob Cratchit, played by none other than Mickey Mouse, while Donald Duck as Fred pops in for a visit to spread some holiday spirit. Below each window scene, you’ll find open books with quotes from the film—little reminders that even the grumpiest among us can find the holiday spirit (or at least be haunted into it).

Next, you’ll find the ghostly figure of Jacob Marley—Goofy’s comically spooky take on Scrooge’s old partner—wrapped in chains and here to warn Scrooge about the dangers of a miserly life. It’s a haunting scene that manages to be eerie and charming all at once, as Goofy brings his slapstick personality to the role. Talk about the goofiest ghost of Christmas!

Then it’s on to the nostalgia-packed trip with the Ghost of Christmas Past, played by Jiminy Cricket. Together with Scrooge, they peek through a window into a bustling holiday party at Fezziwig’s, where a younger Scrooge danced and fell in love. This scene twinkles with festivity, reminding Scrooge (and us!) that Christmas isn’t just about pennies and pounds but the joy we share with those around us.

As the journey through the windows continues, Scrooge meets the towering Ghost of Christmas Present, brought to life by Willie the Giant, who shows Scrooge the abundance of Christmas spirit and generosity. With plates piled high with food and Willie’s warm, booming laughter, the scene couldn’t be more jolly!

The mood shifts in the next window with the appearance of the intimidating Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, portrayed by Pete. He looms over Scrooge as he peers down at a grave, his future if he continues down the miserly path. It’s a chilling scene that adds a sense of urgency to Scrooge’s transformation—after all, nobody wants to end up with grave regrets!

And finally, the grand finale: a redeemed Scrooge, bursting with Christmas joy, surprises his nephew Fred and family, gifts in hand, ready to celebrate. It’s a heartwarming scene that’s sure to bring a smile to even the most Scrooge-like guests!
