From November 29th to January 6th, immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, Grinchmas, and Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD joins this year’s festivities with holiday décor, inviting guests to celebrate alongside Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad within the Mushroom Kingdom. Guests can shop for new, exclusive holiday-themed merchandise, including a holiday sweater featuring a snowman adorned in a Mario cap and scarf, a Mario snowman plush and a Mario snowman headband, along with apparel, drinkware and more. Toadstool Cafe™, located within SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, also sweetens up their menu with an all-new holiday treat as a complement to its popular menu items.

The spirit of the Who-lidays will shine brightly this “Grinchmas” season with an assortment of fun holiday favorites, including an “Always Naughty” Grinch Spirit Jersey and a “Dashing through the Nope!” women’s boxy fit t-shirt along with pins, key chains, blanket, home décor and other apparel.

This year, Grinchmas serves up an array of tempting items available at the “Who-bilicious Treats” venue located within Universal Plaza. Disney CEO Bob Iger Sells $42 Million Worth of Disney Stock

Disney CEO Bob Iger has sold nearly $42.7 million worth of Disney stock, according to a recent regulatory filing.

Disney CEO Bob Iger sold 372,412 shares of Disney stock on Friday, November 22nd. These shares were vested stock options granted to him in 2014 and were set to expire this December. The total market value of the shares sold was approximately $42.7 million.

While this figure might seem substantial, Iger’s net profit is not the entire amount. He had to exercise the options at a strike price of $92.24 per share. His profit is calculated by subtracting the strike price from the sale price and then accounting for taxes.

On November 22nd, Disney’s stock closed at $115.65 per share, marking its highest point since May of this year. This represents a 25% increase from the previous year. Based on this closing price, Iger’s potential profit from the stock sale could be approximately $8.7 million.

Iger’s CEO contract is set to expire in 2026. Disney plans to announce his successor in early 2026, with James Gorman, the incoming chairman of the Disney board, leading the search. The company is reportedly considering both internal and external candidates.

Mickey is conjuring magic as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice on a castle set, while Minnie is dazzling guests in a new, retro Hollywood-inspired look. Be sure to check the posted wait time to meet both characters, with Minnie’s meet-and-greet coming first.

Minnie’s radiant new dress is a striking shade of pink, complemented by a delicate capelet that drapes gracefully over her shoulders. A Year in the Making

Creating this floral spectacle is no small feat. Behind the scenes, Disney’s skilled horticulturists spend nearly a year planning, selecting, and preparing for the holidays. At the heart of this operation is a 3.5-acre tree farm behind Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where the team has nurtured plants for over five decades—even before Walt Disney World opened.

With over 100 varieties of poinsettias to choose from, the design process starts early. These plants come in a range of colors, from traditional reds to crisp whites and unique shades of pink, adding pops of color throughout the parks. Allison and her team—made up of gardeners, arborists, and more—work tirelessly in the early hours of the morning to plant poinsettias and other festive foliage. Their efforts ensure the parks are picture-perfect when guests arrive, enhancing experiences like the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

The long-dormant Reflections—A Disney Lakeside Lodge project appears to be back on track, as construction activity ramps up on the shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World. While Disney has yet to officially confirm the revival of this deluxe resort, the signs are hard to miss. Cranes have arrived at the site, located on the former River Country water park grounds, marking the first significant construction progress since the project was paused in 2020.

Cranes Signal a Comeback

Three cranes are now stationed at the site, with up to six expected as construction progresses. According to filings with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the cranes will remain on-site through August 2025, although that timeline can obviously be extended if needed. The site development aligns closely with the original plans for Reflections—a 10-story, nature-themed resort set to feature over 900 hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) villas.

The FAA filings are not the only clues hinting at Reflections’ return. Recent documents submitted to the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) reference new electrical infrastructure being installed by Chen Moore and Associates under the name “Project S,” which is widely believed to be the codename for Reflections.

A Vision Resurrected

Originally announced in 2018, Reflections—A Disney Lakeside Lodge was designed to offer a tranquil escape inspired by the natural beauty of Bay Lake as part of the Disney Vacation Club resort portfolio. Positioned between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, the hotel was envisioned as a deluxe retreat with unique accommodations and immersive storytelling. However, the project was shelved in 2020 due to the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and pre-construction work was dismantled, leaving many to believe the resort would never come to fruition.

A Glimpse at What’s Next

While Disney has not officially restarted the project, the activity at the site suggests that the resort may soon take shape. The arrival of cranes, coupled with infrastructure updates and ongoing filings, indicate that Reflections is moving closer to becoming a reality. Once complete, the resort will add another luxurious option to Disney’s lineup of deluxe accommodations, potentially offering breathtaking views of Bay Lake and easy access to Magic Kingdom and other nearby attractions.
