If youโve got Disney magic on your mind for January, thereโs good news coming from Walt Disney World! Park hours are getting a little extra pixie dust for the second week of January 2025. Whether youโre an early riser or love soaking up every last second of Disney enchantment, these changes will give you more time to enjoy all the magic, rides, and experiences.
Starting January 5, Disneyโs Hollywood Studios will open its gates earlier, with Early Entry now beginning at 8:00 am (previously 8:30 am). That means more time to snag your spot in line for Rise of the Resistance or grab a Ronto Wrap in Galaxyโs Edge before the crowds roll in. Regular park hours also shift, with opening set for 8:30 am and the park staying open until 9:00 pmโperfect for enjoying the nighttime glow of Hollywood Boulevard.
Magic Kingdom: Nights of Pure Enchantment
Magic Kingdom fans, rejoice! Starting January 5, the park will stay open as late as 11:00 pm on select nights. From January 6 through January 10, you can enjoy an extra hour of magic until 10:00 pm. Evening Extra Magic Hours on January 8 will also stretch until midnight, giving night owls the perfect chance to experience Happily Ever After or a late-night spin on Space Mountain.
For Animal Kingdom explorers, the parkโs hours are growing, too! On January 5 and January 11, the park will remain open until 7:00 pm, giving you more time to enjoy Pandoraโs breathtaking glow or catch an evening trek through Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Cinderella Statue Returns to Disney Springs Looking More Magical Than Ever
Bibidi Bobidi Beautiful! The Cinderella statue outside the World of Disney in Disney Springs has officially returned after a two-month refurbishmentโand sheโs never looked better. Removed back in October for a much-needed magical makeover, Cinderella had been showing her age with fading paint and worn details. But now, her ballgown gleams with refreshed colors, her face has been expertly redefined, and sheโs ready to reign once again as the belle of Disney Springs!
This iconic statue has long been a photo favorite for guests entering World of Disney, and her refreshed look is sure to wow fans all over again. Meanwhile, Cinderellaโs entrance-mate, Princess Aurora, who stands opposite her, is beginning to show her own signs of wear and tear. With a gown thatโs starting to fade, Aurora might soon follow Cinderella to receive her own royal treatment. Historically, Disney removes and refurbishes these statues one at a time, ensuring they each get the attention they deserve.

While subtle, the holiday decorations in the lobby are beautifully themed. A Christmas tree graces the seating area, and elegant wreaths adorn the doors leading to the back of the tower and the stunning views of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
