Let’s Go To Hawaii’s Aulani Resort

MinnieAndJakob1
MinnieAndJakob1

MinnieAndJakob

I’ve talked about Aulani a lot here at ChipandCo and for good reason. Not only do I love Hawaii in general, but Aulani is a fantastic vacation place. All the magic of Disney located in the Hawaiian Islands. Now, Disney’s Aulani Resort has even expanded it’s resort, making more places to stay, and more offers to help you visit. You might even get to take a stroll with Minnie to your breakfast table. I’m a little biased, but that kid is super cute.

Today we share with you the latest Aulani Promotion. Stay 4 Nights for the Price of 3 Nights PLUS you get Breakfast Daily for 2 people at the newe Ulu Cafe.

For a Limited Time you can purchase a minimum 4 Night Stay at Aulani Resort and Spa and you’ll get the 4th Night free. Book this offer with your favorite Aulani Travel Agent by January 15th and travel most nights between January 5th and April 7th.

Be one of the first of your friends to visit the amazing and newly expanded Aulani Resort and Spa. The expansion includes additional dining, more shopping and even more water experiences. My one complaint with Aulani during our time there was the lack of dining choices. I’m personally excited to get back and seethe new offerings. If you get there before me, make sure you share your own experiences.

More time at Aulani, means more to experience and enjoy, not only at Aulani, but all throughout Oahu Island. At Aulani you’ll receive with the cost of your package Waikolohe Valley Pools, Aunty’s Beach House Kid’s Club, Ko Olina cove and some amazingly fun Family Adventures, including ‘Ohana outdoor movie nights, fireplace story-telling, Goofy’s Surf Lessons and so much more.

If you have any questions or want to get started planning a fantastic vacation to Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa. You know what to do.

Disney Quick Tip – Eat Breakfast in Your Room

quaker instant oatmeal

Looking for a way to save money in your Disney vacation food budget?  One way our family saves money is to eat breakfast on our room.  Whether you are staying at a resort with a full kitchen or one with a small fridge and microwave, you can make a decent breakfast in your own room.  You can purchase some food items from your resort’s gift shop, with the biggest selection if you are staying at a deluxe resort or DVC villa.  You can have an even bigger selection by pre-ordering from a grocery delivery service like Garden Grocer or driving via rental car or taxi to the store yourself.  We have also been known to bring some breakfast items with us such as oatmeal packets, peanut butter and jelly packets, and coffee in our luggage when we fly.

What are some breakfast ideas you can make and eat in your room?  Besides making oatmeal, we have made scrambled eggs in coffee mugs and cooked bacon and sausage links in the microwave.  We have also purchased fruit, yogurt, pastries, English muffins, bread, cheese, and butter for breakfasts.  There are many possibilities to make a good breakfast right in your own room!  The resort prices for food from the gift shop are not as cheap as a grocery store, but they are cheaper that buying breakfast every day at the resort food court.

Now, I still need to have a Mickey waffle at least once during our stay whether it is from a Quick Service location or a character breakfast;  so eating breakfast in our room helps me save money to do just that!  If you are considering a Disney Dining Plan and are willing to make breakfast in your room, you could also get the Basic Dining Plan instead of the Deluxe Dining Plan to save money.

Does your family eat breakfast in your room while on vacation to save money?  What other ideas do you have for making breakfast in your room?  We would love to hear your thoughts!

Iron Man Hong Kong 1

Iron Man Hong Kong

One of the greatest things about Disney is the treasure trove of characters and rich stories we have to draw upon for the immersive experiences they provide our guests around the world. With Marvel joining the Disney family in 2009, the character and story base grew even further, and the anticipation for how Marvel comes to life in the parks.

Earlier today at Hong Kong Disneyland they announced that the very first Disney attraction based on a Marvel character experience will debut in Hong Kong Disneyland.

Iron Man Hong Kong Poster

Here are some of the initial details:

Audiences around the world have been captivated by the amazing inventions and innovations of Tony Stark and they are basing this experience within a piece of the Stark Expo. Located in Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland, the Iron Man Experience will allow guests to see firsthand the progression of Tony’s Iron Man suits and many other Stark innovations.

iron Man Hong Kong

Upon entering the ride vehicle our guests will be able to take flight with Iron Man on an epic adventure that not surprisingly pits Iron Man, and our guests, against the forces of evil. This adventure will take place in the streets and skies of Hong Kong, which will make an even more unique and special experience for our Hong Kong Disneyland guests. In addition, guests will be able to meet and take photos with Iron Man.
