A Notice Under Fictitious Name published in the Orlando Sentinel this week lists “Level99” as a registered name for Open World Entertainment LLC, operating at 1486 East Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830—an address within Disney Springs. While no official announcement has been made, this filing suggests Level99 is preparing to establish a presence in Florida, and Disney Springs seems like the perfect fit.

What Is Level99?

Designed for those who love high-energy, social gameplay, Level99 is an open-world challenge venue featuring over 50 interactive rooms. Guests can team up with friends, compete for achievements, and climb the leaderboards, making every visit a new adventure.

Beyond the adrenaline-pumping action, Level99 also offers a full-service restaurant and bar, allowing guests to refuel between challenges. The combination of gaming and dining creates an experience that’s as much about social connection as it is about skill and strategy.

A Natural Fit for Disney Springs

If Level99 does come to Disney Springs, the most likely home for this interactive gaming experience is the former NBA Experience building. This wouldn’t be the first time Disney Springs has embraced interactive attractions. Keeping track of air quality is becoming more important than ever, and Universal Orlando Resort has made it easier than ever for guests to stay informed while enjoying their day at the parks. Now, through the Universal Orlando Resort app, you can access real-time air quality information to help you plan your visit and breathe a little easier during your adventure.

How It Works:

Upon opening the Universal Orlando Resort app, guests can head over to the “Map” section to find the interactive map of the resort. In the upper left-hand corner, you’ll spot an oval icon with an air quality reading. This is the Air Quality Index (AQI), which provides a number along with a colored dot that helps indicate the quality of the air in real time.

What the Numbers and Colors Mean:

The Air Quality Index (AQI) measures the level of pollutants in the air, and the color-coded system helps you quickly gauge the air’s safety. The app’s AQI feature is linked to data from AirNow, a trusted source for air quality information.

When we checked the app, the AQI displayed was 24, marked with a green dot, which indicates “Good” air quality. A green dot means the air is clear and safe for everyone to enjoy their visit. If you happen to see a different number or color, it will correspond to different levels of air quality, ranging from good to hazardous.

If you want more detailed information about the air quality in your area, tapping the AQI icon will take you directly to the AirNow website, where you can find a comprehensive breakdown of air quality and what it means for you.

Keep Your App Updated!

To ensure you have the air quality information in your app, make sure you’re using the latest version of the Universal Orlando Resort app. If you’re not seeing the air quality icon, a quick update to the app should fix that.

Currently, this feature is only available on the Universal Orlando Resort app. The air quality feature has not yet been rolled out to the Universal Studios Hollywood app, so Hollywood visitors will need to wait for future updates.

Legend of the Seas Arrives Summer 2026

Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class delivers the ultimate family vacation! The cruise line is introducing Legend of the Seas, the next level in cruising. Experience the boldest Mediterranean adventures or explore the Southern and Western Caribbean, including Perfect Day at CocoCay. Sailing Summer 2026 from Barcelona and Winter 2026 from Fort Lauderdale.

Legend of the Seas, the third Icon Class ship, will carry approximately 7,000 passengers and measure 250,800 gross tons. Following the immense success of Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas, this new ship continues Royal Caribbean’s groundbreaking Icon Class, setting a new standard for megaship experiences.

Royal Caribbean’s newest Icon ship will debut in the Mediterranean before transitioning to Florida. Starting August 2026 (revised from the initial July announcement), the ship will offer 7-night Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona, Spain. These voyages will explore historically significant and scenic ports in France, Italy, and Spain.

The inaugural Legend of the Seas cruise, a 7-night Western Mediterranean voyage departing Barcelona, sets sail on August 2, 2026. The itinerary includes Palma De Mallorca, Spain; Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy; Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; and Naples, Italy.

Following the Mediterranean season, Legend of the Seas will reposition to its new homeport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Starting November 2026, the ship will offer 6-night Western and 8-night Southern Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades. Legend’s first Fort Lauderdale sailing, a 3-night voyage to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas, departs on November 11.

Walls Up Around Pandora as Disney Repaints

Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is known for its immersive bioluminescent scenery, but even magical worlds need a touch-up now and then. Currently, a section of Pandora is undergoing refurbishment, with crews repainting the intricate, glow-in-the-dark walkways.

The affected area includes the pathways and bridge that wind through the land in front of the popular Na’vi River Journey attraction. Temporary green barriers now block all entrances to these walkways, preventing guests from exploring this particular part of Pandora’s alien flora and water features. While this section is closed, guests can still access other areas of the land, particularly those closer to Avatar Flight of Passage.

Disney periodically refreshes the bioluminescent paint on the pathways as it wears down from foot traffic. The pavement itself is designed to mimic the natural terrain of Pandora, resembling flattened dirt covered in moss and featuring unique plant prints.

The repainting process involves carefully recreating the purposeful cracks and designs that contribute to the land’s otherworldly aesthetic. This ensures that the pathways continue to glow vibrantly at night, maintaining the immersive experience Pandora is known for.

While a portion of the land is temporarily behind wraps, the repainting will ensure that guests can continue to enjoy the full bioluminescent magic of Pandora for years to come.

Walt Disney World Starting Standby Queues for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Exciting news for Walt Disney World guests! Starting February 25th, 2025, both Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT will be accessible via standby queues. This means no more scrambling for virtual queue reservations!

Guests will have the option to experience these popular attractions by simply joining the standby line or utilizing the Lightning Lane paid option, subject to availability.

Virtual queues were implemented for both attractions upon their openings – May 22nd, 2022 for Cosmic Rewind and June 28th, 2024 for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure – to manage high demand and minimize wait times. While virtual queues have proven helpful for new attraction launches, Disney suggests they may return for select experiences in the future.

TRON Lightcycle:Run Powers Down Virtual Queue 1

This change follows a similar move at Disneyland, where the virtual queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was discontinued in December 2024. It also marks a quicker transition to standby queues compared to TRON Lightcycle / Run, which opened in April 2023 but didn’t offer a standby line until September 2024.

With the removal of virtual queues, guests will have more flexibility in planning their park days and enjoying these popular attractions.
