Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and 2 Film Marathon

Marvel Studios will be working the cast and crew of Avengers: Infinity War part 1 and 2 non stop in a 9 month film marathon. Chris Evans recently shared that directors, Joe and Anthony Russo will start filming part 1 in the fall or winter of 2016 and will not stop until both films are completed. Based on the amount of time that Evans mentioned he will be working, it seems he will be featured heavily in both films. But there are also rumors that some of the original Avengers will not be seen in the first film. For now, even if we have a long wait, it looks like the Russo brothers have great plans for Avengers: Infinity War. Part one is scheduled to open in theatres on May 4 2018 and part two almost a year later on May 3, 2019.

We’ve all had friends that just “don’t get it”. They say Disney is just for kids. They wonder why we crave seeing the castle in person time and time again. If you have ever experienced any of these symptoms please read on.

You can relate any real-life situation to a particular Disney movie, quoting a specific scene or by bursting into song. Example: Someone falls down in front of you and you scream “Get up Bambi, GET UP!” at them. This is normally not well received.
You refer to Disney World or Disneyland as “home” often confusing people in daily conversation.
You have more Disney music on your iPhone, iPod, devices and CDs than you have non-Disney. This usually leads to a workout at the gym on shuffle and “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan coming up, which actually amps you up even more.
Any time you leave for Disney you have an entire group of people who you have to ask if they “need anything?” while you’re in the parks.
Most of your stories start with “One time in Disney…” or “remember in Disney when we…?” Example: “remember the time we posed the same way without planning it for the picture on Splash Mountain? Man that was classic”.
Your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and car have more Mouse Ear items in them than the Disney Store. There are also more photos of your family and friends at Disney displayed in your home than anything else.
More often than not your social media posts involve a photo of a Disney character making a funny quip or offering real- world advice. Example: “It’s Monday” posts always have a movie character crying or looking defeated. Same goes for rejoicing character photos on Fridays.
You start planning your next trip on the way home from your current trip. The worst “mail” you’ll ever get is the departure notice from the Magical Express the day before you leave.
On your birthday you receive children’s cards featuring the Princesses, Mickey and the gang or Frozen characters- and you’re totally ok with it.
Everyone knows when you’re about to go to Disney because it’s ALL YOU TALK ABOUT!

ABC recently announced that “The Muppets” will be coming back to T.V. How cool is that?

The new show will be brought to you by the Big Bang Theory producer Bill Prady. It is being marketed as “contemporary” and “more adult” like. Viewers will get a more in depth look at “The Muppets” personal and work lives. It is said to be a documentary style show.

USA Today recognized all four of the Disney Cruise Line ships, the Disney Wonder, Disney Magic, Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream, among the top 10 “Best Cruise Ships for Families,” chosen by USA Today readers. The Disney Dream took the top ranking, and it’s very easy to see why! Best Friends Whenever To Premiere On Disney Channel!

When a science experiment goes awry, teen best friends Shelby and Cyd gain the power to travel back and forth in time, although they can’t quite control their powers just yet, in the new sitcom “Best Friends Whenever,” debuting FRIDAY, JUNE 26 on Disney Channel. The series, starring Lauren Taylor (“Richie Rich”) and Landry Bender (Disney XD’s “Crash & Bernstein”) as time-traveling teen besties Shelby and Cyd, premieres immediately following the highly anticipated Disney Channel Original Movie “Teen Beach 2” (8:00 p.m., ET/PT).

The series follows Shelby (Taylor) and Cyd (Bender), who gain the power to leap forward and backward in time whenever they want – and sometimes when they don’t. Now, the duo experience the twists and turns of friendship as they try to decide between fixing mistakes in the past or catching a glimpse of the future. While aspiring scientist Barry and his trusty assistant, Naldo, try to figure out how to replicate time travel for themselves, Cyd and Shelby use their newfound power to navigate high school, life and Shelby’s mischievous twin brothers, Bret and Chet.

Also starring are Gus Kamp (“Deadtime Stories”) as Barry, Ricky Garcia (“Forever In Your Mind”) as Naldo, and identical twins Benjamin Cole and Matthew Lewis Royer as Bret and Chet.

In the premiere episode, Shelby enlists Barry and Naldo to help create the perfect ambiance at school to ask her crush, Cameron, to the big dance. When the unexpected spoils her plans, Shelby and Cyd try to use their newfound power to travel back in time to fix everything.

Attention! Awesome news from LEGOLAND Florida! The final bricks have been put in place as the LEGOLAND Hotel gets ready to open its doors next Friday!

An awesome grand opening celebration will take place on May 15th in Winter Haven Florida! The much anticipated LEGOLAND Hotel will open its colorful brick doors to visitors for the first time! Disney and United Arts of Central Florida Bring Live, Local Theater to Emerging Art Lovers

Every eighth grade student in Orange County Public Schools will have their social studies curriculum brought to life onstage at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, thanks to a $200,000 donation from Walt Disney World Resort to United Arts of Central Florida.

“This special gift will allow our young children – many for the first time – to experience the theater, sparking a potential life-long appreciation for the arts and culture,” said Flora Maria Garcia, president and CEO of United Arts.

This week, all 13,000 eighth graders will have the opportunity to attend a performance of “The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg” at the Walt Disney Theater inside the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The presentation by the Orlando Repertory Theatre tells the Civil War-era story of a young boy following the Union Army in search of his brother. The production is based on a popular work of fiction and complements the county’s eighth grade social studies curriculum.

“The arts play an important role in a student’s overall academic experience,” said Bill Sublette, chairman of Orange County Public Schools. “By adding arts to the science, technology, engineering and math movement, we help students build critical thinking skills through creativity.”

As a company steeped in storytelling and entertainment, Walt Disney World is committed to supporting the local artistic community and fostering creativity among children, families and its own Cast Members. Today’s donation was shared during the district’s annual State of the Schools address.

“While growing up in Central Florida, I attended a performance that opened my eyes to the vibrant world of theater,” said George A. Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort. “By collaborating with these community organizations, we’re bringing this theater experience to young people to enhance their education in a fun, memorable and engaging way.”

As an entertainment company with 74,000 Cast Members who live and work in Central Florida, Disney supports organizations that value the role of arts in the community. One of the earliest and largest investors in Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Disney pledged $12.5 million for the 2,700-seat, state-of-the-art Walt Disney Theater. In addition, Cast Members provide expertise to local arts organizations through pro bono work, assistance with community stage productions and arts workshops.

In 2014, Walt Disney World Resort donated more than $37.9 million in cash and in-kind support to local organizations, as well as more than 235,000 volunteer hours through the efforts of Disney VoluntEARS.

Indiana Jones Sequel May Be Coming Our Way!

Kathleen Kennedy, president of LucasFilms shared the news that Indiana Jones Fans have been waiting for…Kennedy said she sees Indy in our future. Talks about more Indy movies have been swirling around since the Disney and Paramount Studios’ deal in 2012.

Disney Studios got the rights to the Indiana Jones franchise in the deal and Kennedy confirmed rumors in a recent interview “ When it will happen, I’m not quite sure.” Although there are currently no solid negotiations, there has been talk recently to move forward.

Although no much else is available from Disney Studios, the one thing we do know is that first the movie needs a script and Kennedy who worked with Indie director, Steven Spielberg as executive producer would be the perfect person to oversee, new and exciting adventures for our favorite professor.

Which leads to 2 very important questions, who will write the script and who will play Indiana Jones?

Firefighters Help Guests off Kali River Rapids in the Animal Kingdom

Earlier today, Kali River Rapids at the Animal Kingdom had a breakdown and Reedy Creek Firefighters had to be called to pull 12 guests off the ride.

No Injuries were reported!

According to Local6, the river is being drained and the ride will re-open later.

Update: Firefighters were called at 1:21 p.m. and everyone was off the ride by 2 p.m. None of the guests were ever in any kind of danger, the ride just simply malfunctioned. However, it is not known at this time what caused this malfunction.

As a child of the 80’s who grew up playing Nintendo I am excited to tell you the amazing news! Nintendo and Universal Parks & Resorts announced today their plans to bring the world of Nintendo to life at Universal theme parks. Crazy, I know!!!

Can you imagine what spectacular attractions these two storytelling giants will create based on Nintendo’s wildly popular games, characters and worlds. I would love a Mario Chart ride. What Nintendo game would you like to see brought to life at Universal Parks & Resorts?
