1024574 new seasons marvel super heroes coming disney xd
Disney XD has ordered two new action-packed seasons of the popular animated series on the Marvel programming block – continuing the adventures of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes with “Marvel’s Avengers: Ultron Revolution” and introducing a new band of villains in “Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister 6.” Produced by Marvel Television, both series deliver the biggest, most explosive seasons yet with some of Marvel’s most aspirational super heroes facing off against some of the greatest threats in the Marvel Universe. Both of the new seasons are currently in production and slated to premiere in 2016 on Marvel on Disney XD.
In season three of “Marvel’s Avengers: Ultron Revolution,” the Avengers are not only shocked by the return of a vengeful Ultron, but they also encounter new threats like Baron Zemo, the Masters of Evil, the Inhumans, and the futuristic Kang the Conqueror. It’s only with the help of heroes like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and Ms. Marvel that they have a chance of surviving an all-out Marvel super hero Civil War.
In season four of “Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister 6,” a confident Spider-Man feels like the ultimate hero after fighting alongside The Avengers and leading a team of heroes at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy. However, when the wall-crawler discovers that his greatest enemies – Doctor Octopus, Hydra and the all-new Sinister 6 – are working together to destroy him and S.H.I.E.L.D., he teams up with a special new team of Spiders, including Miles Morales, Agent Venom, Iron Spider and the mysterious new Scarlet Spider. Spider-Man and his new friends will need to use all of their power to overcome their greatest challenge yet.
“We’re delighted that Disney XD is partnering with the world-class Marvel team to bring our viewers new installments featuring the Avengers and Spider-Man, some of the world’s most iconic and engaging comic book characters,” said Marc Buhaj, Senior Vice President, Programming and General Manager, Disney XD. “In these new animated seasons we are looking forward to even higher stakes, bigger threats and the trademark quality storytelling that Marvel is famous for.”
“These series have been the heart and soul of Marvel Animation for several seasons and, thanks to Marc and his top-notch crew at Disney XD, we’re thrilled to bring our fans more episodes of what they’ve been clamoring for,” said Stephen Wacker, Vice President, Current Series, Marvel Animation Studios. “It’s a testament to the hard work and creative effort of our production and writing teams that Marvel’s animation slate continues to roll onwards and upwards.”
The “Marvel’s Avengers: Ultron Revolution” voice cast includes Adrian Pasdar (“Heroes”) as Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore (“Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness”) as Hulk, Roger Craig Smith (“Wreck-It Ralph”) as Captain America, Travis Willingham (“Shelf Life”) as Thor, Troy Baker (“Ultimate Spider-Man”) as Hawkeye, Laura Bailey (“The Super Hero Squad Show”) as Black Widow and Bumper Robinson (“The Game”) as Falcon. Jeff Allen serves as Supervising Director and Eugene Son and Dani Wolff serve as Co-Story Editors on the series.
“Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister 6” stars Drake Bell (“Drake & Josh”) as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Chi McBride (“Hawaii Five-0”) as Nick Fury, Steven Weber (“Wings”) as Norman Osborn, Greg Cipes (“Teen Titans,” “Ben 10”) as Danny Rand, Ogie Banks (“Fatherhood”) as Luke Cage, Misty Lee (“Batman: Arkham City”) as Aunt May, and recurring guest star Stan Lee (“Spider-Man”) as Stan the Janitor. Alex Soto serves as Supervising Director while Kevin Burke and Doc Wyatt serve as Co-Story Editors.
Alan Fine (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Iron Man,” “Thor”), Dan Buckley (“Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.”), Joe Quesada (“Marvel’s Daredevil”), and Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) will serve as executive producers on “Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister 6” and “Marvel’s Avengers: Ultron Revolution,” while Stan Lee (“Spider-Man”), Eric Radomski (“Spawn”), Cort Lane (“The Super Hero Squad Show”) and Stephen Wacker (“Marvel’s Avengers Assemble”) will serve as co-executive producers for both series.
Summer is a very popular time to visit Walt Disney World, and if you’re one of the many planning to make the trek during the upcoming months, then you will want to remember this – summer in Orlando is HOT and WET. Not only are the temperatures high, but the humidity is stifling, and there is thunder and rain storms almost every afternoon (and sometimes all day too!). Also, the crowds can get super intense, which for some isn’t an issue, but others might not love it. For many of you, summer is the only time you can make the trip to WDW – so I recommend being prepared!
Beat The Heat: It will be hot. Like – really hot. And even if the temperature is not that high, the humidity will make the air feel hot and heavy. Luckily, there’s a few things you can do to help combat the heat – make sure you STAY HYDRATED – always have a full water bottle on hand (bringing a water bottle from home will save money, too!), wear light-colored, loose clothing (helps keep sweating to a minimum!), and make sure you take advantage of all the indoor rides and attractions that Disney has to offer – they offer a great break from the heat and sun! Read more on how to keep cool at the parks here
Stay Dry: Along with the heat and humidity, the summer brings plenty of rain to Orlando – it tends to rain most afternoons, so it’s best to take some precautions that will help you stay dry. I like to bring my own ponchos from home – they can be purchased at Target or most dollar stores, and they have come in handy on many occasions. You can buy ponchos/umbrellas at the Parks, but it’s definitely easier and cheaper to bring your own. Along with the ponchos, I like to bring various sized Ziploc baggies too – they help keep my phone/wallet/park maps/souvenirs dry and safe from the elements
Anticipate The Crowds: Considering the fact that most schools have off during the summer months, you can bet that the crowds will be considerable at WDW during these times. But don’t panic – a little planning can go a long way. Here’s some crowd-control tips: If you’re staying at a WDW Resort, make sure you’re utilizing the Extra Magic Hours option – I recommend using this time to visit the more popular rides. Make sure you are using the Fastpass+ system and planning to use those for more popular rides/attractions as well. Something that works well for many families is hit the parks for the morning and then head back to their resort for lunch/a nap/pool time in afternoon (when the crowds and heat tend to be the worst). If this doesn’t work for you, then you might want to head to some of those indoor attractions during hot afternoons. One last tip – make sure you have your smart phone and the Disney App handy – you can update fastpass info and view wait times for rides and make dining reservations – all of which can help your day run much more smoothly
Above all, try to remember to relax and have fun!It may be crowded and/or hot, but you’re still vacationing at the Happiest Place on Earth – so enjoy every minute of it!

Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart and Sofia Carson star as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains, in Disney’s “Descendants,” a live-action movie that – with a knowing wink at traditional fairy tales – fuses castles with classrooms to create a contemporary, music-driven story about the challenges in living up to parental and peer expectations. Made for kids, tweens and families, the movie premieres FRIDAY, JULY 31 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and Friday, July 24 to verified users on the WATCH Disney Channel app and WATCHDisneyChannel.com. The notable cast also includes Mitchell Hope, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Maz Jobrani, Kathy Najimy and the Tony Award-winning Kristin Chenoweth.
Disney’s “Descendants” will also usher in Disney Channel’s new comedy series “BUNK’D,” premiering immediately after the movie.
Emmy Award-winning Kenny Ortega (“High School Musical”) directs, choreographs and executive-produces Disney’s “Descendants.” Wendy Japhet (“An Education,” “The Italian Job”) is also an executive producer. Paul Becker (“So You Think You Can Dance Canada”) is the co-choreographer. The script was written by Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott (creators and Emmy and WGA Award-nominated writers on “The Starter Wife”; writers of “Runaway Bride”), who are also co-producers. Mark Hofeling (“Teen Beach Movie,” “High School Musical”) is the production designer and Kara Saun (“Project Runway”) is the costume designer.
The story, set in the idyllic kingdom of Auradon, playfully presents the unexpected possibilities of what happens after the “happily ever after.” As it unfolds, Ben, the benevolent teenage son of the King and Queen (Beast and Belle from “Beauty and the Beast”), is poised to take the throne. His first proclamation is to offer a chance at redemption to Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay, the trouble-making offspring of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil and Jafar, who have all been sequestered on the forbidden Isle of the Lost for 20 years. These villainous descendants are allowed into Auradon for the first time to attend prep school alongside the teenage progeny of Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Mulan. Only time will tell if these evil teens follow in the footsteps of their wicked parents.
As these sons and daughters of evil meet the children of goodness, their story incorporates empowering themes about self-confidence, finding the beauty within, freedom of choice, personal responsibility, teamwork, justice and empathy.

BUNK’D
Emma, Ravi, and Zuri Ross have left their New York penthouse for summer camp at Maine’s rustic Camp Kikiwaka, in Disney Channel’s new live-action comedy series “BUNK’D,” a spin-off of the hit comedy series “Jessie,” debuting FRIDAY, JULY 31 on Disney Channel. The series premieres immediately following the highly anticipated Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants” (8:00 p.m., ET/PT).
“BUNK’D” follows siblings Emma, Ravi and Zuri Ross as they embark on their summer at Camp Kikiwaka, a rustic summer camp in Maine where their parents met as teenagers. Emma and Ravi step into new roles as CITs (Counselor In Training), learning how to be resourceful, responsible role models to their campers. Lou, the cheerful head counselor, and Xander, the camp heartthrob, befriend the Ross kids, who are complete fish out of water in the great outdoors, and step in to show them the ropes. Zuri makes new friends with her fellow campers, the anxious and overly studious Tiffany and compulsive fibber Jorge. Along with their new friends, Emma, Ravi and Zuri adapt to their new “home away from home” and settle into their exciting new lives at Camp Kikiwaka.
Reprising their starring roles from “Jessie” are Peyton List (“The Outskirts,” “27 Dresses,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days”) as Emma, Karan Brar (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days”) as Ravi and Skai Jackson (“The Watsons Go to Washington”) as Zuri. Joining the cast are Miranda May (“The Heartbreak Kid,” “Samantha Who?”) as Lou, Kevin Quinn (“Shameless,” “Chicago P.D.”) as Xander, and newcomers Nina Lu as Tiffany and Nathan Arenas as Jorge.
In the premiere episode, the Ross kids arrive at camp. The camp’s owner, Gladys (played by Mary Scheer), is even scarier than the legendary creature that’s rumored to stalk the grounds. With the help of her sneaky niece Hazel, she’s out to get the Ross kids because of her decades-old rivalry with their mom.
The “BUNK’D” premiere episode simulcast will be available to verified users on WATCHDisneyChannel.com and the WATCH Disney Channel app for smartphones and tablets.
The series was created by Pamela Eells O’Connell (“Jessie,” “Family Matters,” “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “The Suite Life on Deck”), who serves as executive producer. “BUNK’D” is a production of It’s a Laugh Productions, Inc. and carries a TV-G parental guideline.

For many, a dream vacation, or a favorite trip “home” means a visit to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. If you feel that this kind of trip is just out of financial reach, you are not alone. But there are ways to save money, and make the dream a reality. Here are five tips that might help:
1. Do Your Research (or work with a Travel Agent) to Find the Best Deals
Disney can be expensive, there’s no doubt about that, but they do offer discounts, deals, and promotions at various times of the year. If you love planning and know where and how to search, or if you’re willing to work with a travel agent who can do those things for you, you can take advantage of those deals, and get a wonderful vacation that will more likely fit within your budget.
2. Plan to Bring Snacks and/or Food to Prepare Meals
Disney allows guests to bring snacks and drinks (not in glass bottles) into the parks. You can save money by bringing in crackers, fruit, chips, water, or juice for snacking, or even sandwiches and such for lunches or quick dinners. Don’t want to carry your meal items into the parks? Every resort room at Disney (and most at Good Neighbor hotels nearby) has at least a mini-fridge in the rooms. You can take a break from the parks and head back to the resort for some food, some rest or pool time, and be saving money at the same time! If you’re lucky enough to have secured the Free Dining promotion, bear in mind that even Quick Service (counter) meals are plenty of food. If you don’t have big eaters in your party, you can often share a meal, making those meal credits go further. If bringing your own simply won’t work, you can save a little by just drinking water. This will keep everyone well-hydrated, and save you the cost of sodas in the parks or at the resorts. In the parks, you can ask for a cup of ice water at any location and they’ll provide it for you, free of charge.
Be sure to check out Garden Grocer for all your WDW Grocery Delivery Needs!
3. Save on Souvenirs
It can be difficult, especially with children to avoid spending money on souvenirs at the parks. So, set yourself a reasonable budget for each person for that purpose. Then, you can either pre-buy Disney gift cards in your individual budget amounts for each person to use, OR, you can use actual cash, or buy Disney Dollars (onsite at Walt Disney World). When the budgeted amount is gone, it’s gone, so everyone will have to plan and select carefully. Some families have found that they can buy similar souvenirs at discount stores in Florida, and save even more. This may work best if you have very young children, who won’t be as interested in buying in the parks.
4. Use Disney’s Magical Express and Transportation
If your family is flying into Orlando, Disney offers complimentary transportation to Disney resorts via their Magical Express. When staying on property at Walt Disney World, you will have access to almost everything you need, so most people won’t need a rental car. Disney’s Transportation System can get guests from resorts to parks and back, and to Downtown Disney (Disney Springs). If you live far enough away that you need to fly, or if you just feel that it will make the visit to Disney less exhausting, you’re likely spending plenty of money to do that, so save a little by avoiding the rental car cost.
5. Plan a Day Away From the Parks
Yes, if you buy one less park ticket, you’ll save some money. And it doesn’t mean you have to just do nothing, though you certainly can plan a relaxing day, if that works for you and your group. If, however, you’d like just a lower key day, you might do things away from the parks that won’t necessarily cost you any money, and will keep the group busy and interested. You can hop on the monorail and visit the resorts along the monorail line – The Contemporary, The Polynesian Village, and the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. You can use other Disney transportation to visit Fort Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge, both of which have grand, beautiful lobbies and grounds to explore – and at Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can find a spot to view the Savanna, and see some of the animals! Walk along paths, take a boat just to enjoy the ride, visit the Boardwalk at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Resort – there are shops, restaurants and performances to enjoy. AND, if you’ve purchased a package from Disney (resort room and tickets), you’ll have vouchers for free or reduced price miniature golf, admission to Disney Quest (an indoor arcade and amusement park at Downtown Disney/Disney Springs), or spa and recreation options.
So, there ARE ways to save money and make a Walt Disney World trip affordable. If you’re ready to explore this, I’d love to help you find the best value on your next magical vacation. Contact me at [email protected] and we’ll get started!
