Disney Cruise Line Mickey and Friends Don Spooktacular Costumes for Halloween on the High Seas
Disney Cruise Line has unveiled the 2024 Halloween costumes for Mickey Mouse and his pals in a new video shared on social media. The costumes, previously teased in concept art, feature a vibrant purple and orange color scheme with hints of green and pink.
Daisy Duck is dressed in a stylish purple corset over a spiderweb-patterned skirt, while Donald Duck sports a playful spider costume complete with attached legs and antennae. Chip and Dale take inspiration from the Evil Queen, with Chip sporting a striped pointed hat and a cauldron full of candy, and Dale resembling the poison apple with a skull face.
Goofy dons a classic black and white skeleton costume with a matching top hat, and Pluto is adorned with a candy corn hat and collar, complete with an orange nametag.
These festive outfits will be worn by Mickey and his friends on every Disney Cruise Line ship during the Halloween on the High Seas sailings. The video below also offers a glimpse of the unique Pumpkin Tree on the Disney Fantasy.
Each Disney Cruise Line ship boasts its own version of the Pumpkin Tree, a magical centerpiece that comes to life during the Halloween on the High Seas celebrations. Delta Air Lines Unveils Updated Cabin Designs Debuting on New 757’s
Delta is set to unveil a new cabin interior this fall, just ahead of its centennial anniversary. This modern redesign will significantly enhance the airline’s aircraft interiors. From updated seating materials and lighting to a refreshed color palette and new decorative motifs, every aspect of the cabin has been carefully crafted to elevate the passenger experience.
“Delta has a 100-year history of creating a customer experience that feels welcoming and thoughtful with intentional design elements woven into every aspect of a customer’s travel,” said Mauricio Parise, Vice President – Customer Experience Design. “As we embark on our next century of flying, this refreshed cabin interior infuses utility with beauty to create an atmosphere that feels fresh, elevated, and timeless while reflecting our customers’ evolving tastes and expectations.”
The new cabin design is designed to make Delta customers feel at home while traveling. Breathable materials, comfortable memory-foam cushions on widebody jets, and relaxing lighting will be featured throughout the fleet.
Every design element has been carefully considered, with a focus on the details that matter most to our customers. Delta is committed to providing a cabin experience that reflects our customers’ evolving expectations and lifestyles.
The enhanced lighting system is designed to create a soothing and consistent onboard atmosphere. With mood lighting tailored to each phase of the flight, customers will feel more relaxed and better adjusted to their time zone.
“Every flight is different, so we’ve focused on creating warm, calming and atmospheric lighting options that create an environment for customers to rest and relax, or stay productive as they wish,” said Parise. “For boarding, we’ve focused on the ‘moment of deceleration’ – warm and inviting lighting that makes the cabin appear spacious and open. At mealtimes, we queue hues that feel like you’re at a candlelit dinner – making meals more natural and inviting. As the lights dim for sleep, we borrow from the sunset and slowly remove blue light while bringing in warm amber tones which are reminiscent of a sunset glow. When it’s time to wake up, the cabin slowly brightens into morning and daylight.”
Delta is refreshing its brand colors with a softer, warmer, and more modern palette. Natural materials like wool and accents of Delta’s original heritage colors will be incorporated throughout the design. The result is a fresh, clean, and elegant cabin that elevates key Delta brand elements.
Customers will feel more at home with unique touches throughout the cabin, including thoughtful material choices at customer touchpoints and subtle distinctions like Delta widget logos and seat tags.
New design motifs on bulkheads feature an updated version of the current onboard branding patterns. The Infinite Grid welcomes customers onboard, reminding them of Delta’s unparalleled global connectivity. The Celestial Sky pattern incorporates elements of our global network while evoking the excitement and wonder of flying.
Branded cabin identifiers will be featured on all widebody aircraft in Delta One and Delta Premium Select. For aircraft without a full-sized divider between cabins, an under-bin divider will be installed in the Celestial Sky pattern.
Lavatories will feature bright walls and an accent wall opposite the mirror in the Celestial Sky pattern. Cabinets will be a fresh Azure Blue color. The flooring is a smooth, speckled material for improved cleanliness and traction.
Delta’s new cabin design will first be featured on a narrowbody Boeing 757 aircraft, which will begin flying on domestic and short-haul international routes later this fall. In early 2025, a widebody Airbus A350 will debut with the new design on long-haul international routes. Additional aircraft will receive the new cabin design as Delta’s schedule and operations permit over the next few years.
Delta is committed to a uniform and updated fleet appearance with this new design. Their goal is to create a consistent experience across our diverse fleet, not just a unique subset. When customers step onboard, they will know what to expect and look forward to, regardless of the type of plane their flight is operated on.

As Florida continues to recover from the devastating impacts of Hurricane Milton, which came on the heels of Hurricane Helene, Disney has announced a $3 million donation to support relief efforts across the state. The powerful Category 5 storm made landfall on Florida’s west coast, bringing destructive winds, heavy rainfall, and widespread flooding to Central Florida, including the Orlando area. In the aftermath of the hurricane, communities are facing significant recovery challenges, and Disney’s donation aims to aid local communities, nonprofits, and cast members affected by the storm.
In addition to the financial contribution, Disney has a long-standing tradition of supporting communities during natural disasters. The company has provided thousands of meals through partnerships with organizations like Second Harvest Food Bank and the Osceola Council on Aging, ensuring those impacted by the storm have access to essential resources. Disney also took proactive measures earlier in the hurricane season, donating blankets, sheets, pillows, and hygiene products to Florida nonprofits to assist storm shelters during emergencies.
To further support its employees, the Disney Employee Relief Fund has been activated, offering financial assistance to cast members whose homes were damaged by the storm. For families like Gabby’s, who spend long periods in the hospital, these moments offer much-needed relief. “It really helps her get through the harder moments,” shared Gabby’s mom, Kelly Evans.
This visit is part of Disney’s broader Halloween initiative, delivering 20,000 costumes to 450 children’s hospitals and care centers across the country, kicking off the company’s Season of Giving. “We celebrate Halloween big in our parks, and we celebrate big with our community too,” said Tajiana Ancora-Brown, Disney’s Director of External Affairs. Beyond the fun, the event allows families to create cherished memories during stressful times, bringing a little Disney magic where it’s needed most.
For over 20 years, Disney and Starlight have worked together to bring joy and comfort to hospitalized kids through themed care packages and entertainment programs. “Our collaboration allows us to transform the hospital experience for kids across the country,” said Adam Garone, CEO of Starlight Children’s Foundation.
