Review: Minnie’s Springtime Dine at Hollywood & Vine
At Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Minnie’s Springtime Dine is the seasonal character dining experience offered from March to May. Part of the rotating “Minnie’s Seasonal Dine” series, it follows the winter’s Silver Screen Dine and precedes the Summertime, Halloween, and Holiday Dine events.
All of the characters at this dining experience have received updated looks! Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Pluto are all rocking Spring themed outfits.
There’s also a cute photo backdrop where guests can take pictures. The title of the character meal is centered at the top of the backdrop. Small flower beds are on either side.
The character meal is a buffet and the offerings change out seasonally. Some of the new dishes include Jicama Slaw, Lemon-Garlic Herb-Baked Salmon, Teriyaki Glazed Tofu, Yuca & Mojo, Shepherd’s Pie with Ground Beef, Cheesy Cauliflower, Seafood Rice, and Ribbon Pasta with Meatballs and Mushroom Sauce.
This festive springtime dining experience is available now through May 20, 2025. Lunch and dinner are available for $63 per adult and $42 per child. Advance reservations are highly recommended!

Replacing a smaller beverage cart, Paddy’s Bar boasts a significant upgrade, now featuring a permanent roof structure, limited barstool seating, and a convenient walk-up counter. The bar’s design exudes Irish charm, complete with a beautifully lit metal sign that reads “Paddy’s Bar,” proclaiming its origins with “Imported from Ireland, ESTD. 2005, On Raglan Road, Dublin 4.”
The walls flanking the bar are adorned with signs that hint at the bar’s offerings, promising “Teas and minerals, dancing, singing, good dining, and artisan spirits.” And indeed, Paddy’s Bar delivers on that promise with an extensive drink menu that caters to a wide range of tastes.

Our Opinion of the Chicken & Waffles at EPCOT’s Honey Bee-stro
EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival is a culinary adventure, a vibrant celebration of flavors from around the globe. This year, we were eager to sample the diverse offerings, and one returning item caught our eye: the Chicken & Waffles from The Honey Bee-stro. Having heard whispers of its previous success, we approached the dish with high expectations.
The promise was enticing: crispy chicken, a sweet whipped honey butter, a kick of spicy honey, and a unique honey-jalapeño bacon cornbread waffle. It sounded like the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and spicy. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of the mark.
Let’s start with the chicken. The flavor profile was undeniably delicious. The sweet honey butter and the spicy honey drizzle complemented each other beautifully, creating a harmonious blend of contrasting tastes. However, the texture was a significant letdown. The “crispy” chicken was, in reality, overly chewy, making each bite a bit of a struggle. It detracted from what could have been a truly enjoyable experience.
Then there was the cornbread waffle. The concept was intriguing – honey and jalapeño bacon infused into a classic Southern staple. We anticipated a delightful combination of sweet and savory with a subtle hint of heat. Sadly, the reality was far from pleasant. The overall flavor was somewhat muddled, and the jalapeño bacon, while present, didn’t quite deliver the expected punch. The waffle’s texture was another issue. It was surprisingly crumbly and hard, making it difficult to cut and eat without it falling apart. While there was a lingering, mild heat, it wasn’t enough to redeem the overall dish.
While we appreciate the unique flavor combinations The Honey Bee-stro attempted, the execution left much to be desired. The chewy chicken and the disappointing waffle overshadowed the delicious honey flavors.
In a festival brimming with culinary delights, the Chicken & Waffles from The Honey Bee-stro was a notable disappointment for us. While we commend the creativity of the dish, we cannot recommend it based on our experience. It’s safe to say this is one item we won’t be revisiting on future festival trips. Instead, we’ll be exploring the many other tantalizing options EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival has to offer. What did you think of the Chicken and Waffles?
Universal Orlando Resort has unveiled details of the extensive merchandise offerings planned for its highly anticipated Epic Universe theme park, set to open on May 22, 2025. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of items inspired by the park’s immersive worlds, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
Over 20 uniquely themed retail locations throughout Epic Universe will feature an assortment of new and popular merchandise, ranging from apparel and headwear to collectible items.

Fantastic Beasts fans will even be able to take an interactive Niffler home with them.
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Fans can team up and celebrate their favorite Nintendo characters with an extensive variety of merchandise inspired by beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong and more. The 1-UP Factory and Mario Motors stores feature character hats and headbands themed to Chef Toad, Bowser Jr., Princess Peach and more; character plush like Mario, Luigi and Donkey Kong; a Mario Kart collection and a colorful Yoshi collection. SUPER NINTENDO WORLD also offers food and beverage accessories like the light-up Super Star Popcorn Bucket, 1-UP Mushroom Sipper and Super Mushroom Sipper.
At Funky’s Fly ‘n’ Buy in Donkey Kong Country, guests will be able to shop for merchandise that will be available for the first time at Epic Universe such as a banana-shaped fanny pack inspired by Donkey Kong’s favorite food. Other items guests can find at Funky’s Fly ‘n’ Buy include a gigantic Donkey Kong coffee mug, a Diddy Kong ticket holder and more.
Guests can also purchase Power-Up Bands throughout SUPER NINTENDO WORLD inspired by popular characters Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong to gear up for interactive play. With a Power-Up Band, guests can enhance their play throughout SUPER NINTENDO WORLD by experiencing interactive activities, winning digital keys, collecting digital coins and stamps, tracking their score, checking their ranking and more.
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk Guests can immerse themselves in all the Viking vibes with a vast selection of merchandise, including apparel and collectibles inspired by the beloved characters, attractions and more in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
