Disney’s BoardWalk Resort Decks the Halls for the Holidays

Disney’s BoardWalk Resort is embracing the festive spirit, transforming into a charming holiday destination with delightful decorations and festive cheer. Guests strolling along the boardwalk will be greeted by a whimsical array of garlands, wreaths, and twinkling lights, creating a magical atmosphere for the season.

Not just one, but three towering Christmas trees grace the resort this year. One stands proudly on the boardwalk, adorned with sparkling ornaments and shimmering lights, while the other two bring holiday cheer indoors near the check-in area.

Inside the resort’s lobby, guests can admire the intricate gingerbread replica of the BoardWalk Deli. This edible masterpiece, which opened last week, is a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of the resort’s bakery team. Guests can also indulge in a variety of holiday treats and purchase festive merchandise at the kiosk next to the gingerbread display.

New Christmas Sulley Bucket Arrives at Walt Disney World

The highly anticipated Christmas Sulley popcorn bucket, originally announced for Disneyland Resort, has made its way to Walt Disney World. Guests can now purchase this collectible bucket at the popcorn cart near the center of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Each Santa Sulley Bucket comes filled with popcorn at the time of purchase. Please note that there is a limit of two buckets per person, per transaction. This festive collectible will be available while supplies last.

This adorable collectible features Sulley in a festive red Santa hat, complete with white trim. His signature blue fur and purple polka-dots are meticulously sculpted and painted. Sulley is carrying a toy bag draped over his shoulder, with the drawstring ties adorned with playful eyeballs. And what’s a Sulley bucket without a surprise? A familiar eye can be spotted peeking out from the bag, hinting at the mischievous Mike Wazowski.

In Sulley’s other hand, he’s holding a festive green ornament adorned with horns, reminiscent of Mike Wazowski. The blue Monsters, Inc. logo is prominently displayed on the ornament. Both the toy bag and Sulley’s Santa hat add a touch of sparkle to the design. The toy bag serves as the opening for the bucket, allowing guests to enjoy their popcorn. This collectible bucket is available for $27.25.

Santa Claus Sets Up Shop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the Holidays

Santa Claus has arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, bringing holiday cheer to guests visiting the park this season. He’s set up shop at It’s A Wonderful Shop, the former year-round Christmas store located in Grand Avenue, next to PizzeRizzo.

Joining the Virtual Queue

To meet Santa, guests can join a virtual queue by providing their phone number to a Cast Member at the designated podium in Grand Avenue. After registering, guests will receive a text message confirmation and a second message when it’s their turn to return for their meet-and-greet. Wait times may vary depending on the park’s crowd levels.

Santa’s Workshop

Once called back, guests will enter It’s A Wonderful Shop, which has been transformed into a festive Santa’s Workshop. The shop features a cozy atmosphere with a velvet and gold couch for Santa, surrounded by stacks of toys and a “Night Before Christmas” storybook.

Meeting Santa

According to My Disney Experience, Santa Claus is available for meet-and-greets from 10:00 AM to park closing (typically 9:00 PM). Guests can find up-to-date hours in the app under “Visit with Santa at It’s a Wonderful Shop.”

Other Santa Sightings

During Disney Jollywood Nights, the separately ticketed holiday event at Hollywood Studios, Santa Duffy takes over the meet-and-greet spot at It’s A Wonderful Shop. Guests can also find Santa Claus at a new meet-and-greet location in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as at Disney Springs.

With multiple opportunities to meet Santa Claus throughout Walt Disney World Resort, guests are sure to create magical memories this holiday season.

Donald Duck Brings Holiday Cheer to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with New Show

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is adding a touch of holiday magic with a brand-new show featuring Donald Duck and the Juggling Elves. This festive act, which debuted recently, showcases two talented elves who juggle, spin plates, and perform other impressive tricks.

The 15-minute show takes place at Echo Lake in front of Hollywood & Vine, offering guests a delightful dose of holiday entertainment. Halfway through the performance, Donald Duck joins the elves, adding to the fun and excitement. The elves also invite audience members to participate, making for an interactive and engaging experience.

The Juggling Elves join other new seasonal entertainment offerings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including Seasonz Jukebox, a high-energy marching band, and the Holiday Spirit Band, a festive brass ensemble. Guests can also meet Santa Claus himself at a designated location within the park.

Cars Land Decorated for Holidays 2024 at California Adventure

Cars Land at Disney California Adventure has been decorated for the holiday season! Along with car-themed decor, two of the rides have received a holiday overlay.

Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree has become Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters has become Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl.

Christmas trees have popped up around the land made from different materials. The tree near Mater’s Jingle Jamboree is made from stacked tires while the tree in front of Flo’s V8 Cafe is made of stacked cans of motor oil.

At the end of Route 66 sits the Radiator Springs fire station. The building is decorated with wreaths and garland made from air filters and Christmas lights. To the side of the building is a Christmas tree decorated with hubcaps.

Outside of the Cozy Cone Motel is a Christmas tree made from orange traffic cones decorated with garland and smaller cones. Garland stars decorate the area as well. If you look inside the Cozy Cone Motel office, you’ll see more decorations, including a gingerbread display!

Nighttime is always extra magical in Cars Land with the neon lights. During the holidays it’s even MORE magical with the Christmas decorations and Christmas lights. You really feel like you are in the world of Cars, celebrating the holidays in Radiator Springs.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Featured on New Disneyland Map

With the highly anticipated opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the enchanting Bayou Country, Disneyland Park has released a new fall/winter 2024 guidemap. This essential tool will help guests navigate the park and discover all the magic it has to offer.

On November 15th, Disneyland Park welcomed the highly anticipated Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. To commemorate this special occasion, a new fall/winter 2024 guidemap was released.

The cover showcases a stunning image of Tiana and two critters in a log at the base of the salt mine mountain, with the iconic Tiana’s Foods water tower in the background. The attraction’s logo is prominently displayed below the Disneyland Resort logo, proudly announcing its grand opening.

The newly released Disneyland fall/winter 2024 guidemap showcases the exciting transformation of Critter Country into Bayou Country. This reimagined land, located between New Orleans Square and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, is now home to the highly anticipated Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The guidemap features a dragonfly logo and a dark brown color palette to represent the unique atmosphere of Bayou Country.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, previously marked as “Coming Soon” on previous maps, is now featured in full detail and designated with the number 17.

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort for Thanksgiving week? You’re in luck! Disney has announced extended park hours from November 24–30, 2024, giving guests even more time to enjoy the magic of the holidays. Whether you’re exploring Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios, these updated hours are perfect for making the most of your Thanksgiving visit.

Disney World Extending Theme Park Hours for Thanksgiving Week 2

Magic Kingdom

The holiday season shines brighter with extra hours at Magic Kingdom! Guests can start their day earlier, as Early Entry now begins at 7:30 am instead of 8:30 am. Most days, regular park hours kick off at 8:00 am—one hour earlier than previously planned. For those staying late, the park will stay open until 11:00 pm on Monday, November 25, and Thanksgiving Day, November 28, adding two extra hours of nighttime magic.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Nature lovers have more time to explore Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as evening hours have been extended. From November 24–26, the park will remain open until 7:00 pm, giving visitors an extra hour to enjoy Pandora – The World of Avatar, the Tree of Life Awakenings, and other iconic experiences.
