Tony’s Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Will Offer a New Dining Package Beginning June 7

Reservations for a new dining package at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom will open tomorrow morning, June 7th. Guests can enjoy a three-course lunch along with reserved viewing for the Main Street Electrical Parade that same evening. The reserved viewing section is right in front of the flagpole on Main Street U.S.A.

The dining package includes your choice of appetizer, entrée, dessert and a beverage. Start your meal with delicious soup, salad or the addictive Zucchini Fries. Choose from favorites like Chicken Parmigiana, Spaghetti with meatballs or Margherita Pizza. For dessert, you can’t go wrong with classic Tiramisú or decadent chocolate cake layered with a chocolate-hazelnut filling.

The cost is $45 for adults, $17 for children plus tax and gratuity, or is one table-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Reservations open June 7, and can be made by visiting DisneyWorld.com/dine beginning at 6am EST or by calling 407-WDW-Dine at 7am EST.

Zootopia Reaches $1 Billion Globally!

As of June 5th, Walt Disney Animation Studio’s film “Zootopia” reached some HUGE records, having just reached the $1 billion mark (with $337.2 million being domestic, and $663.5 million from international).

Not only has it been a huge box office success, but with it’s $1 billion earnings it is now Disney’s second film of 2016 to cross the billion-dollar threshold (Captain America: Civil War being the first), as well as only the fourth animated film ever to achieve these earnings. Overall, it’s only the 11th film ever to earn $1 billion.

And the other big Disney record “Zootopia” has made? It is now the second-highest grossing Disney animated film of all time–right after “Frozen”, bumping down “The Lion King” to number three.

After watching “Zootopia” several times, I simply can’t watch it enough (and neither can my toddler)–it’s easy to see why this film is such a success, both critically and at the box office.

You can soon get the chance to watch “Zootopia” over and over again when it comes to Blu-Ray, Digital HD, DVD, and Disney Movies Anyhwere on June 7th.

This girl dresses up as a hot dog on Princess Dress Up day!

It was Princess Day at the Holly Springs School of Dance in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Instead of dressing up as Snow White, Ariel, or any of the other Disney Princesses little Ainsley wanted to stay true to herself and wear her favorite costume, a Hot Dog!

The photo appeared on Twitter by her dad Brandon and uses the hashtag #hotdogprincess and has been shared thousands of times by friends & family before going viral!

I first learned of her adorable story from a video shared on the Today Show. Check it out.

As her teacher Sarah Nativi told BuzzFeed, “She loves princesses, but she wanted to be original and wear a hot dog costume instead,” she said. “She wore a princess costume underneath it and said she was a princess on the inside!”

New Entertainment Group ‘Les Parfaits’ coming soon to Epcot’s Canadian Pavilion

We mentioned a while back, that after the departure of the Lumberjack show at the Canada Pavilion, that they were going to be replaced by multiple entertainment groups. These groups each have a shorter appearance time as they are being rotated out.

TradNation replaced the Lumberjacks, and were subsequently replaced by Alberta Bound. However, the newest group to join the fun at The Mill Stage in Canada happens to be more of a variety entertainment group called Les Parfaits. They are a rock band that also combines the fun of things such as acrobatics and juggling into their act.

Our friends at WDW Magic have informed us to be on the lookout for their arrival sometime in late June, so keep your eyes peeled!

Possible Meal Credit Changes on some of your Favorite Disney Restaurants

If you happen to be looking at dining information today you may have noticed a HUGE change in the number of dining plan credits required to eat at some of Disney’s favorite Disney Character Dining experiences.

It seems that now Chef Mickey’s, Princess Dining at Askerhus, as well as Tusker House will now require 2 dinner credits instead of one. However, some claim that when some guests have spoken with Disney about it, it has been said it’s a glitch in the website, and that it’s still only 1 dinner credit. These screenshots were taken this morning so as on 930am they are still showing up as 2 credits.

I guess we shall wait and see!

We we all know how awesome vacation souvenirs are when you’re a kid, but who says adults can’t bring home some awesome Disney keepsakes too? Read on for my top Disney souvenir picks for adults:

Tech Accessories: Disney World shops and stores offer tons of great iphone and android phone cases/covers, and you now have the ability to personalize these too – with the Create your own phone case kiosks coming to the Parks this Spring!
Bags/Totes/Purses: We all need to carry our stuff from place to place, so why not do it in style? One of the benefits of being an adult is that you can sometimes splurge a bit more on some nicer things – like a Disney Dooney and Bourke or Vera Bradley perhaps? They come in a variety of sizes, styles and patterns, and while the price tag might seem a bit steep for some of the bigger bags – it’s a small price to pay for something so classic! Guys aren’t left out of this category either – there are some really nicely made bags and other items in the Twenty Eight & Main Collection that are perfect for the man in your life
Kitchenware: I have to admit, this is a personal favorite of mine – and any time I enter a store at one of the Disney Parks, I am immediately scanning the shelves to find the home goods and kitchenware. It’s a weakness of mine – and I partly blame Disney for making SO MANY perfect yet practical things! Oven mitts, serving spoons/spatulas, plates, silverware, cups, bowls, mugs (I cannot say no to a cute Disney Mug), even aprons – they sell all this and more, and these could not be more amazingly useful – we all need spatulas right? So why not make it a DISNEY spatula!
Jewelry/watches: There is a HUGE selection of jewelry and watches available at various spots throughout the Disney Parks – there’s the Crislu collection which features Mickey in a variety of rings/necklaces/earrings and bracelets, Disney Pandora charms, Disney Alex & Ani bracelets, and SOOO much more. There’s a lot available for a reasonable price too, like really cute earrings and necklaces for under $20, and they also sell tons of diamond and gold items featuring Mickey and Pals, too
Personalized Souvenirs: There are a lot of spots around the Parks that will engrave/personalize various items – things like wine glasses/mugs and other drinkware, wooden and glass picture frames, leather accessories like bracelets or keychains, Christmas ornaments, and of course the iconic Mickey Ears – something no one should be without (no matter their age!). What better way to commemorate an amazing Disney vacation than with a personalized souvenir? We got an engraved photo frame last time we were at WDW, and put our picture from 1900 Park Fare in it

I LOVE buying Disney souvenirs as an adult – but I have to admit that my favorite one of ALL time is trip photos – all the pictures I take at Disney are super special to me, and I love displaying them and reliving the great times and memories captured in the pictures. Dress Up Your Phone With a Mickey Ears Phone Cover

Sometimes I just find something so adorable, that I can’t help myself. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t squeal like crazy when I saw this Mickey Ears Phone Cover! It is just too cute, I had to have it.

It’s a soft silicon case, which is great for absorbing shocks from when I drop it a hundred times. The phone case has Mickey’s signature round ears at the top, with his iconic red shorts on the bottom half. the front side of the phone is all red trim, I really can’t get over how cute this is! If you like to be a little girlier, there is a Minnie Mouse version available too! The Minnie Mouse version has the same signature ears up top but with the addition of her bow. The bow and bottom half of the phone are perfectly pink, with white polka dots. The Minnie one is perfect for this year’s Minnie Rocks the Dots theme. After finding the Mickey and Minnie, I also discovered Donald and Daisy versions! These are cute, and affordable, at less than $7 shipped each! Sadly as with most of the completely adorable phone accessories out there, the Mickey Ears Phone Cover and his friends are just for the iPhone.

Bright and Colorful Mickey Vinyl Record Clock

I love the trend of the up-cycled vinyl record clocks I’ve been seeing lately, but sometimes I like a little more color in my decor. This hand painted Mickey Vinyl Record Clock is the perfect touch.

These clocks are made with real up-cycled vinyl records, and then hand painted with a dotting technique, that makes for a beautiful and unique piece. I love artistic clocks, I think they really add a lot to a room. They also make for great conversation pieces. They come with Junghans quartz precise clock movement, so you’ll always have an accurate time too. Of course there is more than just the Mickey Vinyl Record, there are quite a few other Disney designs too.
