**It’s Dangerous to Go Alone—Take This Movie Ticket! Nintendo Confirms Live-Action Legend of Zelda Film!**

Grab your Master Sword and shine up those rupees—because The Legend of Zelda is officially heading to the big screen, and we are Hylian-hyped! After years of rumors, fan theories, and more speculation than you’ll find in a Bokoblin camp, Nintendo has finally confirmed that Link is leaping out of the game and into live-action in a brand-new movie set to hit theaters on March 26, 2027.

Announced just hours after Nintendo launched their new app Nintendo Today (seriously, what a double whammy!), the news dropped like a bomb arrow—in the best way possible. And yes, we have confirmed it’s real. No need to check your Sheikah Slate.

Here’s what we know so far: the film will be directed by Wes Ball, known for bringing The Maze Runner series and the upcoming Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes to life. The movie is a collaboration between Nintendo and Avi Arad’s Arad Productions, Inc., with none other than Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto co-producing. If you’ve ever journeyed across Hyrule, solved ancient shrines, or accidentally angered a cucco, you know this is a big deal.

Disneyland’s has brough a culinary hyperspace jump to the park with new Season of the Force foods. Guests can expect to find inventive dishes and snacks inspired by iconic Star Wars elements, from savory galactic-inspired entrees to sweet treats that capture the essence of the saga.

Galactic Grub: New Season of the Force Foods Arrive at Disneyland

Let’s start with the sweet treats! Guests can choose from a variety of tasty bites including a Millennium Falcon Chocolate Lollipop, Tropical Whoopie Pie, Star Wars Sugar Cookie, and Storm Trooper Rice Cereal Treat. Choose the Light Side with a Blue Raspberry Churro or the Dark Side with a Spiced Red Cinnamon Churro. If you don’t want to choose your side, enjoy the Pretzel Lightsabers. And finally, enjoy snacking on a Wookie Cookie.

Disney didn’t leave out special drinks for the season! Try the Keshian Spiced Milk Tea, Cold Brew Black Caf, or Pi-Co Punch. Also pictured above is the Pistachio-Cherry Parfait. Not a drink, but still a yummy Star Wars treat!

There are multiple lightsabers and hilts available during Season of the Force. The Sabers and Hilts pictured above will all arrive this May. From left to right they are: he Ren Legacy Lightsaber hilt, Savi’s Workshop Reclaimed & Reforged hilt, and Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber set. Which one(s) do you want?

Fans of the Dark Side can grab a Loungefly Darth Vader mini-backpack and/or the matching Minnie Mouse ear headband.

There’s also a Hoth collection available. Fans can choose from a Loungefly mini backpack, Minnie Mouse ear headband, and a baseball jersey. All three come in light blue and feature icons from the Star Wars planet Hoth. You’ll see things like an AT/AT walker, a T-47 airspeeder, and even an Imperial Probe Droid.

There are multiple Star Wars apparel options for guests as well. Grab a t-shirt featuring our favorite droids: C-3PO and R2-D2, or a simple hoodie featuring the Star Wars logo. There’s also a Boba Fett baseball jersey for the bounty hunter fans. If you’re a spirit jersey collector like me, you’ll want the black jersey with “May the Force be With You” on the back! There are youth t-shirts as well.

I am so excited for this last merchandise collection! New characters are now available to add to your Create-Your-Own headbands! There are 5 Star Wars characters now available: Yoda, Ewok, Storm Trooper, Darth Vader, and R2-D2. I need them all!

And the best part is that the wait times will be shorter compared to visiting Typhoon Lagoon during the regular daylight hours. The countdown to Star Wars Day 2025 has officially begun, and the Disney Store is igniting the hype with a sneak peek at their Star Wars May the 4th Be With You collection. Prepare to jump to lightspeed, because this year’s lineup is packed with must-have apparel, accessories, and collectibles that’ll have fans reaching for their wallets faster than the Millennium Falcon making the Kessel Run.

From striking Darth Vader designs to frosty Hoth-themed gear, Disney’s latest drop promises to deliver a galactic celebration right to your doorstep, starting April 4th.

First up, we’ve got some seriously cool apparel. Picture this: a Darth Vader Pullover ($54.99). This Figment Lug Water Bottle Bag Will Spark Your Hydration Game!

You know how you’re always lugging around a water bottle at Epcot, trying not to spill it on your Spaceship Earth spirit jersey? Well, problem solved! We stumbled upon this totally adorable Figment Lug water bottle bag, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer.

Yeah, it’s $50, which might seem like a lot for a water bottle bag, but considering the quality, the design, and, let’s be real, the sheer Figment-ness of it all, it’s totally worth it. If you’re heading to Epcot, keep your eyes peeled. This little purple gem is a must-have for any Figment fan!

It features a vibrant purple and it’s got our favorite imaginative dragon right on the front. We’re talking embroidered Figment, complete with those bright yellow eyes and those iconic orange horns. He’s even got a big, goofy smile, which, honestly, just makes you smile too.

Now, this isn’t just your average bottle holder. Lug really thought this through. There are pockets everywhere. Variety reported that Disney was troubled by Rachel Zegler’s “free Palestine” post, leading “Snow White” producer Marc Platt to travel to New York and request its removal, which Zegler declined. This week, Marc Platt’s son, Jonah Platt, entered the discussion, defending his father against accusations of being “creepy” and his actions as “uncalled for.”

Platt’s response, which has since been deleted, read:

“You really want to do this? Yeah, my dad, the producer of enormous piece of Disney IP with hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, had to leave his family to fly across the country to reprimand his 20 year old employee for dragging her personal politics into the middle of promoting the movie for which she signed a multi-million dollar contract to get paid and do publicity for.

This is called adult responsibility and accountability. And her actions clearly hurt the film’s box office. Free speech does not mean you’re allowed to say whatever you want in your private employment without repercussions. Tens of thousands of people worked on that film and she hijacked the conversation for her own immature desires at the risk of all the colleagues and crew and blue collar workers who depend on that movie to be successful. Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged.”

“Snow White’s” controversies extended beyond Rachel Zegler. The film faced pre-existing scrutiny common to Disney’s live-action remakes, including calls for a boycott due to Gal Gadot’s pro-Israel stance. Additionally, Peter Dinklage’s criticism of the Seven Dwarfs led to fluctuating plans from Disney, initially suggesting a “different approach,” then a replacement with magical characters, and finally, their inclusion via CGI. The replacement of Prince Charming also drew fan disapproval. Ultimately, “Snow White” underperformed at the box office, grossing just under $49 million domestically, below its opening weekend projections. While critical reviews are mixed (42% on Rotten Tomatoes), audience scores are more favorable (74%), with Zegler’s performance receiving particular praise.
