Chris Evans Returns to the MCU: A Captain America Comeback
In a stunning turn of events, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has announced the return of a beloved hero. Chris Evans, the actor synonymous with the iconic role of Steve Rogers/Captain America, is set to reprise his role in the highly anticipated film, Avengers: Doomsday.
Evans’ last appearance as Captain America was in the 2019 blockbuster, Avengers: Endgame, where he concluded his character’s arc. However, the allure of the MCU and the enduring popularity of Captain America have drawn Evans back to the franchise.
While specific details about his role in Avengers: Doomsday remain undisclosed, fans are eager to speculate. One possibility is that Evans will portray a variant of Steve Rogers from an alternate timeline or dimension, a concept that has become increasingly prevalent in the MCU.

Walt Disney Company Earns 35 Golden Globe Nominations
The Walt Disney Company is celebrating 35 Golden Globe Award nominations across its diverse portfolio of content brands and studios. This includes nominations for films from The Walt Disney Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures, as well as television series from 20th Television, ABC Entertainment, FX, FX Productions, Hulu Originals, Marvel Television, and Searchlight Television.
Disney’s streaming platforms Disney+ and Hulu are home to a total of 23 combined nominations. Hulu garnered 19 nominations, including nods for Hulu Original “Only Murders in the Building,” FX series “Shōgun” and “The Bear,” leading all television series with five nominations, and ABC’s “Abbott Elementary.” Disney+ received four nominations for titles including Marvel Television’s “Agatha All Along.”
Searchlight Pictures earned 10 nods including for Best Motion Picture, Drama for “A Complete Unknown” and Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for “A Real Pain.” The studio also garnered Best Actor nominations for Timothée Chalamet (“A Complete Unknown”), Jesse Eisenberg (“A Real Pain”) and Jesse Plemons (“Kinds of Kindness”). Great news for Disney+ subscribers staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels! Guests can now enjoy Disney+ directly on in-room TVs at select resort properties. Previously, streaming Disney+ required casting from personal devices, but with this exciting update, the app is built directly into the TV system, offering a seamless way to access your favorite content.
Accessing Disney+ on your hotel TV is straightforward but does come with a few important details to keep in mind:
Subscription Required: Disney+ on in-room TVs isn’t included with your stay, so you’ll need an active subscription and your login information to access the service.
Automatic Logout: For your security and convenience, your account will automatically log out at the end of your stay. If you prefer, you can also manually log out before checking out.
Gradual Rollout: This feature is being added across Walt Disney World Resort hotels, but availability may vary depending on the property.
This update provides a convenient way to enjoy Disney+ during your downtime, whether you’re unwinding after a day in the parks or starting your morning with a classic Disney movie. Refreshed Look for Hotel du Canada as Scaffolding Comes Down at EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion
The Hotel du Canada in EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion is stepping back into the spotlight with a fresh new look as scaffolding begins to come down. Since June, crews have been busy refurbishing this iconic structure, and now guests can enjoy the first glimpses of the revamped façade as the refurbishment project nears completion.
Significant changes are already visible. The stone walls of the hotel have been repainted with a richer gray tone, enhancing its rugged, natural appearance. Meanwhile, the roof has taken on a rusted green shade, replacing the previous tan coloring, giving it the patina of aged copper and lending an authentic charm to the building. Crews also restored the windows and dormers on the upper floors, adding a polished finish to the historic design.
Inspired by Ottawa’s famed Château Laurier hotel, the Hotel du Canada serves as a centerpiece for the pavilion, standing proudly amid its breathtaking surroundings. Disney describes the Canada Pavilion as a tribute to the country’s natural beauty, featuring stunning landmarks like the Rocky Mountains, a cascading 30-foot waterfall, and lush grounds inspired by Victoria’s Butchart Gardens. The pavilion’s immersive design provides guests with a journey “north” unlike any other, blending natural and man-made wonders seamlessly.
