New Doc McStuffins Character Meet in Animal Kingdom's Conservation Station

Doc McStuffins, that adorable character from the popular Disney Junior show of the same name, now has her own meet and greet location at the Walt Disney World Resort.  You can find Doc McStuffins in her new location at the Animal Kingdom’s Conservation Station.

In case you are wondering how to find Doc McStuffins pick up a Park Map and Times Guide upon entering Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  Follow the map to Africa, and then locate the Wildlife Express to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.  Board the train for a fun sideways ride to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.  Once you arrive, head over to the Conservation Station building where you will find Doc McStuffins greeting her new friends.

The meeting area is set up as the entrance to Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Clinic.  Here you will see a corkboard with drawings of the Doc’s patients, a clipboard, a telephone, comfy pet houses along the wall, and appropriate books for reading such as “Toy Medic,” “Pet Vet On Call” and “Official Cuddler.”  You can also see Doc McStuffins’ friends Lambie the Lamb and Hallie the Hippo along the wall of the Vet Clinic.

Be sure to make your way over to the exam room when Doc McStuffins takes her break.  As she exits the main room, she will make her way back to check on a patient, in her examination room.  Be patient as she does not immediately make her way there, it will take 2-3 minutes.  While you are waiting be sure to look for the Hidden Mickey’s.  What a fun opportunity for children, families, and adults alike.

A Frozen Perfume Will be Debuting Soon at Epcot

A Frozen Perfume Will be Debuting Soon at Epcot

Do you want to build a snowman, or build a palace of ice? If you’re Frozen obsessed you’ll be delighted to know that a Frozen Perfume will soon be making it’s debut at Epcot. This essence of “Frozen in a Bottle” will arrive just in time for guests visiting Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival.

A Frozen Perfume Will be Debuting Soon at Epcot

Geir Ness, a perfume designer who crafted this icy scent says “It’s a scent for people that love the movie, first of all, the nature of the movie. The scent is to capture the nature of the movie and not just the princesses.”  Geir also said “I wanted to try to get this fragrance close to what the scent is of Norway. It’s not easy to create something … it’s one thing to have it in your head,” Ness says. “If you like all different flowers by themselves, but put them together — maybe not smell so good.”

Ness crafted the perfume with notes of Lily of the Valley, Rose, Amber, Wild Mountain Flowers, and Lavender. He wanted something clean and fresh, that would make you feel like you were part of the movie. To prepare, Ness watched the hit animated film about 20 times!

I love this concept, it’s like adding another layer to the film, like when we smell oranges on Sorain’!

You can see a glacier of Norway, like the steep mountains. I want the feeling of ice into the bottle,” Ness says. “The packaging is blue, the same color you see in the movies. … You feel something — the effects of cold and ice when you see the packaging.

Ness has also created another Disney perfume that is inspired from Norway. The incredibly popular and loved “Laila” eau de parfum, which is sold at the Norway Pavilion. This perfume is named for his mother. If the Frozen in a Bottle fragrance is even half as lovely as Laila, I’m super excited!

A Frozen Perfume Will be Debuting Soon at Epcot

The “Frozen in a Bottle” perfume debuts Wednesday at Epcot’s Norway pavilion. Ness, will even be at the theme park for autographs till Sunday, amazing!

The Frozen Perfume will sell for $70 for a 3.4-ounce spray bottle and $50.00 for a 1.7-ounce spray bottle.
