What’s better than an ice cold beer to cool you down when you are on the Planet of Pandora? How about a specialty beer brewed just for Pandora – The World of Avatar?

In addition to all the delectable food and beverages available on Pandora, Disney has also introduced some unique beers to quench every adult explorer’s thirst. The two new beers are called Mo’ara High Country Ale and Hawkes’ Grog Ale. Here is more details on each:

Mo’ara High Country Ale: An amber Ale brewed for the nature lover with a herbal spice hop aroma and a malty flavor profile featuring notes of caramel, toffee, and nuts
Hawkes’ Grog Ale: Green in color with a fruity hop character including apricot and peach with a hint of wheat on the finish

Both beers are available at Satu’li Canteen and Pongu Pongu and are available in two different sizes. A 16 ounce pour is $8.25 and a 22 ounce pour is $9.50. If you purchase your brew(s) at Satu’li Canteen, it is served in one of these awesome glasses! (The glasses are not for keeps though!)

Complimentary Wi-Fi Now Available At Certain Locations In Disneyland Theme Parks

As we previously reported, the Disneyland Resort began Wi-Fi testing in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park starting April 24th. According to Laughing Place, testing is complete and this complimentary service is now available. The downside is that it is only available in certain places inside the Disneyland theme parks.

Locations that Wi-Fi is currently offered :

Disneyland Esplanade (between the two parks)
Disneyland Park
- Matterhorn South
- “it’s a small world” Mall
- Tomorrowland (near Tomorrowlanding merchandise location)
- Main Street, U.S.A. (near information/tip board & near Partner’s statue)
- Zocalo Park (Frontierland)
- Riverfront (New Orleans Square)
Disney California Adventure Park
- Ghirardelli
- Flo’s V8 Cafe
- Sarge’s Park
- Hollywood Land (near Avenger’s Meet & Greet location)
- Paradise Garden Grill seating area (near Goofy’s Sky School)
- Paradise Pier/CA Screamin’ boardwalk (between Screamin’ and Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co.)
- Carthay Circle Guest Relations tip board
- Grizzly Peak viewing area
- Grizzly Airfield

Once at one of these locations the “Disney – Guest” network can be selected. Terms and Services will need to be accepted to utilize the Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi is an important first step to bringing MaxPass to Disneyland theme park guests. The Disney Parks Blog explains : “Disney MaxPass provides unlimited downloads of high-resolution PhotoPass images along with mobile booking and redemption of Disney FASTPASS return times through the Disneyland App. Disney MaxPass will be available for an introductory price of $10 a day.”

Park guests will use the Disneyland App to utilize this service on their mobile devices. This is an optional paid service that will be used concurrently with the existing FASTPASS queues.

In celebration of the recent opening of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” the Walt Disney World’s PhotoPass Service is serving up a treasure chest full of specialty Magic Shots as well as buccaneer-inspired photos featuring Mickey and friends available with a Memory Maker purchase.

Two speciality “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” themed Magic Shots are available just beyond the exit of Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. The first shot magically adds the Black Pearl Ship in a Bottle in the guest’s hand. The second Magic Shot has a nautical theme with guest peering through a port hole.

Magic Shots are fun, speciality photos offered throughout the Walt Disney World Resort that add Disney characters and, in some cases, animation to your photos. Magic Shot photos are available as part of Memory Maker or can be purchased for individual downloads or prints.

Guests who purchase Memory Maker will receive bonus photos featuring our favorite Mouse and friends in their buccaneer attire as well as some best-loved shots of Magic Kingdom’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

Restaurantosaurus is Now Open for Breakfast for a Limited Time at Animal Kingdom

Restaurantosaurus will be temporarily opening its doors for breakfast at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

For a limited time guests will be able to grab a quick-service breakfast at Restaurantosaurus. Although not updated in My Disney Experience as of yet, Disney’s main website lists breakfast service from today until June 3rd.. Opening at the same time as Animal Kingdom, including Extra Magic Hours.

At breakfast Restaurantosaurus will be serving up Mickey Waffle platters with bacon that you can then take to a self service toppings bar to make your very own custom waffle. Breakfast cereals with milk, yogurt parfaits, fruit cups, and more are also on the menu. Lunch and Dinner will continue to be served as usual.

No doubt hungry guests will be happy to have an extra breakfast option when visiting Animal Kingdom to see Pandora. Comment below if you stop in for breakfast and let us know how it is.

Disney’s Old Key West Resort is Featuring Special Cocktails in Honor of Memorial Day Weekend

It’s Memorial Day Weekend and Disney’s Old Key West Resort is serving up patriotic themed drinks to help keep you cool. At both Olivia’s Cafe and Gurgling Suitcase Libations and Spirits you will find three drinks featured for the holiday weekend.

The Stars and Stripes ($12.50) is an eye-catching red, white, and blue frozen drink with Bacardi Raspberry Rum, Strawberry Puree, and Pina Colada Mix topped with Blue Curacao. Next up is the Blue Hawaiian ($9.25), featured as a specialty drink for the holiday this blue fruity drink is a staple on the menu’s at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii.

You will most likely recognize the Magical Star Cocktail ($12.50), this yummy concoction of Mango and Passion Fruit Liqueurs, Pineapple Juice, and Parrot Bay Coconut Rum and can be found on most menus at Walt Disney World. It is definitely a WDW favorite and includes a souvenir multicolored glow cube.

I love accessorizing with fun Disney accents, and I’m always on the hunt for new fun Disney things for my phone! Disney cases are always easy to find for the iPhone, but man was I surprised when I saw these cute Disney Phone Charger Wraps!

How can you not love these fun skins that change your plain charger base into an adorable Disney character? You can decorate your phone charger with these heat resistant vinyl skins that are available in 16 different character choices! I really never knew of a way to completely transform my charger base before these. Now my problem is deciding which character I want most. They even come with extra decorative stickers to add a little extra Disney magic to your phone, or other accessories. These aren’t only for iPhones too, which is great. As long as you have a square charging block you can use these! They also pair nicely with these spiral cord protectors!

Disney CEO Bob Iger Says Hacker Threat of ‘Pirates’ Was a Hoax

Disney CEO Bog Iger recently confirmed that hackers had threatened the company with a claim to have stolen one of their films. Iger stated that the studio now believes that it was a hoax.

In speaking with Yahoo Finance this week, Iger shared “We had a threat of a hack of a movie being stolen.” Although Disney never confirmed what movie the hackers had threatened to have stolen, it was highly speculated to be “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

According to a Deadline report, Bob Iger told a town hall meeting of ABC employees that hackers demanded a ransom paid in Bitcoin or they would release the movie in segments online. In speaking of the threat, Iger said, “We decided to take it seriously but not react in the manner in which the person who was threatening us had required.” He added, “We don’t believe that it was real and nothing has happened.”

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” series has earned Disney more than $3.72 billion worldwide since the release of its first film in 2003. The new film “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” had a $230 million budget.

Today is Opening Day for Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Today marks the official opening of Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

This new land is the largest addition in the history of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. From the moment guests enter into Pandora – The World of Avatar you are fully immersed in this new land where you can walk under floating mountains and enjoy bioluminescent rainforests. Two new attractions also officially opened today. The Na’vi River Journey takes guests sailing down a mystical river to encounter a Na’vi shaman. And my new favorite Disney attraction, Avatar Flight of Passage, allows guests to experience an amazing adventure soaring over Pandora on the back of a mountain banshee. This ride is incredible!

When the sun goes down guests will be wowed by a whole new experience as bioluminescent walkways and plants appear to come to life in the light of the Pandora moon.

Satu’li Canteen, the newest fast casual dining option, will offer guests the chance to indulge in Na’vi culture while dining in a former RDA mess hall. Guests who fall in love with banshees while visiting Pandora – The World of Avatar can purchase their own banshee to take home at Pandora’s primary souvenir shop Windtraders.

Everyone’s favorite furry critters Chip ‘n Dale have migrated from their original Magic Kingdom meet and greet location in Frontierland to their new spot right as you come in to the Magic Kingdom in the Town Square courtyard.

Guests who visited them previously will notice that they’ve also had a bit of a costume change, giving up their frontiersman garb in preparation for the Summer heat.
