Disney Addicts have gone crazy for this Beauty and the Beast Rose Cup.

It came out a few weeks ago at Disneyland and just recently became available at Walt Disney World!

You can now get your hands on this Beauty and the Beast Rose Cup at the Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom!

The Rose Cup cost around $9 at breakfast or $13 at lunch or dinner is what we have heard, we are waiting on confirmation…

St. Patrick’s Day Treats Plentiful Throughout Walt Disney World

St. Patrick’s Day treat offerings are plentiful at the Walt Disney World Resort in preparation for next week’s holiday celebration. Though the exact date is Friday, March 17, the Disney chefs are starting the wearin’ (and eatin’) of the green already. Disney Parks Blog has shared with us some of the St. Patrick’s Day delightful treats we can expect to stuff ourselves, I mean enjoy, during the Irish festivities.

The chefs at Ganachery at Disney Springs are offering several St. Patrick’s Day ganache flavors including Irish Stout Ganache, Irish Cream Ganache and Irish Whisky Ganache. These treats will be available through March 18.

The biggest celebration at Walt Disney World Resort is the Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Raglan Road at Disney Springs. This is the real deal, with Irish Chef Kevin Dundon’s authentic cuisine, Irish bands and pro dancers, a fine selection of beers and cocktails and all sorts of St. Pat’s fun. The party stretches from March 16-19, and the craic (Gaelic for fun) will be mighty.

On St. Patrick’s Day, you can find the cutest cupcake at Fountain View at Epcot: yellow cake with green and white buttercream and a leprechaun hat made of a chocolate sandwich cookie and a marshmallow. Three gold nuggets (from the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?) are the finishing touch.

In Magic Kingdom Park’s Main Street Bakery, the St. Pat’s cupcake with vanilla buttercream frosting with four-leaf clover sprinkles is the perfect holiday Instagram opportunity. And beginning March 12 at Casey’s Corner, celebrate with a new gourmet hot dog, topped with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and whole grain mustard.

If you’re passing through Disney’s Contemporary Resort on the monorail, stop in Contempo Café for a fancy Leprechaun’s Pot of Gold Cupcake, a delectable vanilla cupcake filled with green lemon filling with a dollop of yellow “gold” lemon filling in the center, then topped with green swirled buttercream icing and decorations of gold chocolate coins and sprinkles. Take a photo before you’re tempted to start eating.

At Epcot, Rose & Crown Pub in the United Kingdom pavilion celebrates the day with green beer – perfect with the restaurant’s corned beef and cabbage.

New Kidcot Experience Added for Flower and Garden Festival

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Kidcot at Epcot, it’s a great way for your kids to stay entertained and learn some fantastic things about other cultures while walking around the park. Kids are given a paper Duffy the Disney Bear on a stick that they can color and get stamped like a passport at each country they participate. My kids love getting to see their name written in different languages at the stations at each country!

This year there is a new Kidcot station being offered that is special for the Flower and Garden Festival, aiming to help kids learn more about agriculture. According to Orlando Parks News, kids can now pick up a Flower and Garden Field Guide, and follow along, tracking the native berries and plants at each pavilion as they go.

Sounds like a great way for them to have fun and learn a little something at the same time!

Stitch’s Great Escape Reopening Next Week

Stitch’s Great Escape will be open for four days next week from Monday, March 13 to Friday, March 17. The operating hours will be from 10am to 6pm. This attraction, located in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, currently only operates seasonally, or in other words, it only operates during busy times.

Stitch’s Great Escape opened in late 2004, and it features the blue-ish rambunctious alien character from “Lilo & Stitch,” a Disney animated film that debuted in 2002.

Our very own Anonymouse is predicting that they will be closing this ride permanently to make way for possibly a new Wreck it Ralph ride.

The “Glass Slipper Challenge” during Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend has been renamed to “Disney Fairy Tale Challenge.” The 19.3 mile royal adventure combines two days of magical runs including the Disney Princess Enchanted 10K followed by the 10th Anniversary Disney Princess Half Marathon. Registration for the 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon opens on May 2, 2017. Disney Vacation Club Members can typically register one week prior to general registration.

12 ways to have an Enchanting “Beauty and the Beast” at the Walt Disney World Resort

On March 17, the much anticipated live-action film “Beauty and the Beast” will premiere in theaters nationwide. Fans looking to celebrate the classic fairy tale before the new film’s release need look no further than Walt Disney World Resort, where there are a multitude of unique “Beauty and the Beast” experiences just waiting to say “bonjour.”

Here are a few options:

Tale as Old as Time: Guests are invited to be a part of the story at Enchanted Tales with Belle in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. Guests are transported through an enchanted mirror to Beast’s castle. They’re just in time to help Lumiere and Madame Wardrobe host a very special surprise for Belle. The audience gets to play various characters from the film to re-tell the story of how Belle and Beast met just before she has dinner with Beast.

Song as old as Rhyme: Guests can also interact with the story and the music from “Beauty and the Beast” with several entertainment options at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage! immerses guests in a Broadway-style show where Belle, Gaston, Beast, Mrs. Potts and other characters perform songs and scenes from the classic film. The 25-minute performance takes place daily at the Theater of the Stars.

A sneak peek of the upcoming live-action film is screening at the theater inside of the Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream attraction now through March 26. Guests also can see Belle’s iconic yellow ball gown and the Enchanted Rose from the live-action film in a gallery exhibit inside the attraction.

Magic Kingdom Park:

Belle and Beast lead off the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade as it loops from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A. This sight-and-sound spectacular celebrates the magic of Fantasyland with several Disney friends and colorful floats. Parade kick off is 3 p.m. daily.

Put Our Service to the Test: Soup du jour, hot hors d’oeuvres, Walt Disney World restaurants only live to serve. Guests can find several “Beauty and the Beast” dining opportunities throughout the theme parks and Disney Springs.

Be Our Guest Restaurant: This one-of-a-kind dining experience can be found inside Beast’s castle in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. Be Our Guest brings the story of “Beauty and the Beast” to life with atmospheric and culinary delights. It features an elegant ballroom, a Rose Gallery and the infamous West Wing for diners, with snowy views of the French countryside. Guests can even try the Grey Stuff, which is sure to be delicious. Beast, the master of the castle, meets with diners in his study after their meal. The French-style restaurant serves quick-service breakfast and lunch, and full-service dining for dinner.

Gaston’s Tavern: This French-style lodge is decorated with hunting trophies and other keepsakes dedicated to Gaston. Guests can sit in his fireside chair, complete with signature antler décor, and sip on LeFou’s brew, a frozen apple juice beverage infused with a hint of toasted marshmallow and topped with mango foam. The Tavern, located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park, also serves a variety of pastries, including the signature giant cinnamon roll. The strapping Gaston himself can be found meeting adoring fans outside the Tavern as well.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall: Guests can dine with several Disney Princesses, including Belle, in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot. Guests of all ages can visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner in this medieval castle setting, mingling with the princesses who pose for photos and sign autographs.

Guests also can find unique pastries inspired by the Beauty and the Beast story at several locations, including the Enchanted Rose cake at Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs and a Belle-inspired vanilla cupcake at Main Street Confectionary at Magic Kingdom Park.

A Beauty but a Funny Girl: Belle meets her fans in the France Pavilion at Epcot. Topiaries in France shaped like Belle, Beast and other “Beauty and the Beast” characters are showcased during the International Flower and Garden Festival, which runs now until May 29.

Little princesses also can get the royal Belle treatment at Bibbidi Bobbiidi Boutique, located at both Disney Springs and inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. Fairy Godmothers-in-Training transform young guests with princess costumes, hairstyles, nails and more.

For brides-to-be, there are endless ways to include “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired touches to their big day thanks to Disney’s Fairytale Weddings and Honeymoons. Brides can customize everything from their wedding decorations to the menu to wearing a Belle-inspired gown.

“Thor: Ragnarok” First Looks And Story Plot!

At the end of “Age of Ultron” Thor was flying off to investigate the infinity stones and what was behind the collection of them. At the end of “Thor: Dark World” Loki was impersonating their father, Odin. But then, at the end of “Doctor Strange” we find out he and Loki were both in New York looking into the disappearance of their father. So what the heck is happening in Ragnarock? Here’s what we heard:

Loki’s rather careless governing leads to the reemergence of an imprisoned Hela (Cate Blanchett). Thor’s initial encounter with Hela gets him blasted to Sakaar, a barbaric planet ruled by the charming but nefarious Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), a tough, hard-drinking warrior hiding out on Sakaar brings the god to the Grandmaster. “Thor is a bit of a fanboy for the Valkyrie, the elite women warriors,” Hemsworth says. Thor is then forced into becoming a gladiator, which leads to his haircut and the loss of his trusty hammer. (His replacement weapons include a pair of swords seen on EW’s cover.)

WE also discover Sakaar’s most popular and successful gladiator. Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk. Wha!!?? Comics fans will recognize this plotline as part of the popular Planet Hulk series. “He’s much more of a character than the green rage machine you’ve seen in the Avengers movies,” Ruffalo says of this new Hulk. “He’s got a swagger. He’s like a god.”

Once Thor and Hulk unite, “Ragnarok” becomes a sort of buddy, road-trip film, with director Taika Waititi drawing inspiration from movies like “48 HRS”., “Withnail and I”, and even “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”. The director particularly wanted to show off Hemsworth’s comedic abilities, only recently exploited in films like “ Ghostbusters”. “He’s so good and underutilized in that department,” Waititi says. “He’s legitimately one of the funniest things in this film.”

Fans will also see some familiar faces, like Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange. Teases Feige, “There’s not a whole lot that takes place on Earth in this film, and that’s one of the things that does.”

The events of “Ragnarok” will also help set up Marvel’s biggest Phase 3 installment, “Avengers: Infinity War”, the first half of which is due in May 2018. But Waititi is adamant that his film will not only stand on its own, it will reinvent the franchise. “A lot of what we’re doing with the film is, in a way, kind of dismantling and destroying the old idea and rebuilding it in a new way that’s fresh,” he says. “Everyone’s got a slightly new take on their characters, so in that way, it feels like [this is] the first Thor.”

VIDEO: Mandy Moore Comically Forgets Lyrics to “Tangled” Song on “The View”

Walt Disney World recently hosted The View at Animal Kingdom and Mandy Moore made an appearance to discuss her current Disney projects. Two of those projects, “Tangled: Before Ever After” and “Tangled: The Series” expand on the story of Disney Princess Rapunzel and her crazy adventures as she returns to her kingdom.

In an amusing contest, Moore, partnered with an audience member, went head-to-head with View co-host Sarah Haines and her audience member partner in a challenging few rounds of “Name That Toon.” Hilariously, Moore could not remember the lyrics to one of her own character’s songs in the film and hid behind her podium in shame. You must see for yourself!

Moore also shared about about her role on the popular “This Is Us” and the upcoming “Tangled: Before Ever After” and “Tangled: The Series.”

Bob Iger Announces He will Not Step Down from the President’s Advisory Council

Disney recently hosted an investor meeting where the Orlando Sentinel reports Bob Iger spent the majority of his time being interviewed on politics instead of Disney.

According to The Orlando Sentinel, the meeting was meant to update investors on the status of the Walt Disney Company, and to vote on corporate business. Instead, investors took more of an interest in CEO Bob Iger’s involvement with President Trump’s advisory council. While recently there was a plea for Iger to step down from the council, he has announced he will be doing no such thing. He said while he does not agree with the President’s policies and ideas, that is exactly why he is needed on the council. He is quoted as saying it’s in the “best interest of our company and our industry to have an opportunity to express specific points of view directly to to the president of the United States,” at Wednesday’s meeting.

Also in regards to Immigration Policy, Iger stated that a policy “that is open to the world is, I think, something that is vital to the future success of The Walt Disney Co. and this country.”
