New Sundaes Available at Taste Track Kiosk In EPCOT

The Taste Track kiosk in EPCOT’s Future World has introduced some brand new sundaes to its seasonal menu and they look amazing. After taking a spin in your car at Test Track make sure you take one of these desserts out for a test drive. Taste Track is open 12:30 PM until 5:30 PM and Disney Dining Plan snack credits can be used here.

Berry Explosion Sundae (pictured above) – Vanilla Ice Cream layered with Berries and Pound Cake, topped with Whipped Cream, Strawberry Pearls, and Cotton Candy – $6.50

Chocolaty Churro Sundae – Vanilla Ice Cream and Hot Fudge, topped with Whipped Cream, Chocolate Curls, and a Churro – $6.50

Apple Pie Sundae – Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce, topped with Whipped Cream, Caramel Popcorn, Salted Caramel Pearls, and Warm Apple Pie – $6.50

Robin Roberts Guest Stars in a Special Episode of Disney Junior’s ‘Doc McStuffins,’ Premiering on National Cancer Survivors Day, Sunday, June 4

“Good Morning America” anchor and cancer survivor Robin Roberts guest stars in a special episode of Disney Junior’s “Doc McStuffins” premiering on National Cancer Survivors Day, Sunday, June 4 at 8:00am EDT on Disney Channel. Roberts plays the voice of “Audrey’s Mom” in an episode titled “Hannah the Brave.”

In the heartwarming story, Audrey is a four-year-old chemotherapy patient whose doll Hannah has an issue that leads to her hair loss too. The episode includes an original song, “Brave Like You.”

Chris Nee, creator and executive producer of “Doc McStuffins,” said, “Since ‘Doc McStuffins’ premiered, we’ve been contacted by numerous families of children who have been dealing with very serious illnesses. With this episode, we set out to tell a story for those kids whose illnesses can’t be cured by just a kiss and a cuddle. It was important to me to let them know that we see them and they matter. Having Robin Roberts portray Audrey’s mom in the episode is so special because she has experienced what many of these kids are going through and she’s exactly who you would want cheerleading them through the tough times in their lives.”

As part of Disney|ABC’s Summer of Service campaign launching Thursday, June 1, Doc McStuffins will volunteer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where Disney has a long-standing relationship. Doc will meet with kids and families during the hospital’s First Annual Butterfly Clinic, an event designed to help children feel more comfortable and engaged in the hospital environment through medical play. CHLA is one of more than 40 children’s hospitals across the country that will hold special advance screenings of the episode for young patients.

To celebrate the in-home release of Beauty and the Beast, celebrity chef Cat Cora hosted a spectacular garden party. This celebration was held today on the New York Rockefeller Center rooftop and was followed by an exclusive screening of the film.

Yes, that’s right! Dole Whips are now being offered aboard the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream! They are priced at $4.75. For an additional fee, guests 21 and over can add rum to theirs to make it a boozy frozen treat.

Some of the delectable delights for sale at the Candy Cauldron in Disney Springs include specialty rice crispy treats, candy apples, cookie pops, and colorful cupcakes.

Also offered at the Candy Cauldron are some great sounding drinks:

There are some disappointed Banshee fans walking around Pandora – The World of Avatar today. As of yesterday morning Pandora’s must have toy is completely SOLD OUT.

Charlie was one of the lucky few to get a Banshee yesterday. He adopted his new pet, which he named “Ace” at The Rookery inside Windtraders, before they sold out at around 10:45am. There is no word on when these adorable little creatures will be back in stock.

ICYMI – Banshee Connect Experience pairs guests with their very own adoptable pet banshee. The interactive toy sells for $49.95 and includes three ranges of motion (mouth, head, and wings) that are controlled by hand. Guests can either display a banshee on their shoulder or cradle them in their arms.

Today Disney released Captain America: Civil War As Told By LEGO, the final episode of its digital series produced in collaboration with LEGO.

The As Told By LEGO digital series is a spinoff of Disney’s popular As Told By Emoji franchise (125+ MM lifetime views), which continues Disney’s commitment to storytelling innovation with creative retellings of some of Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm’s most iconic stories. As Told By LEGO’s first episode, Moana As Told by LEGO, has been viewed more than 2.9 million times since debuting in March.

Marvel’s Steve Rogers, who recently surprised fans with a cameo in the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer, makes his LEGO debut in a charming, 3-minute, stop-motion animation video – narrated through the eyes of a youngster. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming opens in theaters July 7.

Veterans From Local VA Medical Center To Be Honored At Special Magic Kingdom Flag Retreat Ceremony On D-Day

Tuesday, June 6th marks the 73rd anniversary of our Allied Troops landing on Normandy’s beaches. Some of these brave soldiers paid the ultimate sacrifice causing pain and heartache in their loved ones left behind.

We honor those brave fighters each year on D-Day and we thank the Veterans who are with us today for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our country.

Magic Kingdom will be holding a special Flag Retreat Ceremony on D-Day this Tuesday at 5 pm.

Veterans from the Orlando VA Medical Center’s Community Living Center will be honored as special guests. This ceremony held in Main Street USA’s Square also features The Main Street Philharmonic Band playing a selection of patriotic songs while The Dapper Dans lead the crowd in song.
