Minnie's Halloween Dine Spooky Themed Food & Characters Review

Autumn is in the air and Minnie Mouse is getting into the Spirit of the Season at The Hollywood & Vine restaurant.  Halloween Costumed Characters, Eerie Music to enhance the Fall Atmosphere, and  Spooky Themed Foods make this meal experience a must. Here is our review of Minnie’s Halloween Dine.

Minnie Mouse is resplendent in her spider-themed costume.  From her shiny green shoes, green spider web tights, and her spider-topped orange on black crinoline dress, to her white spider web gloves and webbed purple and green cape, she is adorable.  Minnie greets each guest attending her Halloween Dine at the entrance to the Hollywood & Vine restaurant, thus providing a fun photo opportunity.  She is joined by Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy and Goofy who meander around the restaurant stopping by tables to sign autograph books and take pictures with guests.

Let’s move on to the food!

From Boo Breads, Spell-Binding Salads and Startling Starters, to Bubbling Brews and Eerie Entrees you are sure to find a number of foods you will enjoy.

Above are our personal favorites for the evening.  Kraken Pasta is a spicy squid ink pasta with calamari and was the hands-down favorite.  The Hocus Pocus Pork Loin was delicious with the peach and apple combining well with the barbecue sauce.  The Cackling Casserole had us a bit skeptical at first as turnips is one of the ingredients.  (Turnips? Yuck!)  However, we were pleasantly surprised with the flavor and crunch this dish offered and one of us went back for seconds!

Traveling with little ones, or not-so-little ones, who are picky eaters?  Never fear as fan favorites such as Ghost White Rice, Tombstone Taters, and Fingers of Chicken are also available.

What would Minnie’s Halloween Dine be without some Trick-or-Treat Sweets?  Candy Corn Cupcakes, Pumpkin Cheesecake and Sea Salted Caramel Cookies are just a few of the enjoyable treats available.

The eerie music playing in the background adds a festive touch to the atmosphere.  See our video tour of the foods as well as the Characters dancing together here:

Minnie’s Halloween Dine accepts the Disney Dining Plan and only uses one Table Service entitlement making this a great deal!  Be sure to book this dining experience if you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort before it goes away on November 5, 2017.  We highly recommend Minnie’s Halloween Dine for the food, the atmosphere and the character interactions.
