I had the pleasure of visiting the Baseline Tap House on the opening day in Hollywood Studios yesterfday. This Grand Avenue Corner Pub is a hit not only with me but with many Disney Fans as well.

According to Disney the BaseLine Tap House sits among the vintage office buildings and warehouses that represent the glory of Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. Formerly known as the Figueroa Printing Company, this re-purposed print shop specializes in beer and wines from the Golden State of California, featuring craft ales, lagers and cider as the stars of the drink menu, along with California wines on tap and specialty cocktails that you won’t want to miss!

If you can’t decide on one drink, then try one of BaseLine’s customizable beer flights, with up to 126 possible combinations of craft beers! Rounding out the drink menu, the pub also offers wine, gourmet non-alcoholic lemonade, and soda on tap.

Not only does Baseline Tap House have outstanding libations they also have some delicious food! I had the pleasure of eating all 3 food items.

The Baseline Tap House is serving up savory dishes such as a Bavarian Pretzel served with mustard and beer-cheese fondue dipping sauces, crunchy spiced almonds and a charcuterie board highlighting delicious California cheeses.

I could end my review here but I won’t. The last thing I want to talk about is the atmosphere. The Baseline Tap House has very cool indoor and outdoor seating. During the day it is a very relaxing spot to have a beer and people watch, at night the Tap House takes on a life of

During the day it is a very relaxing spot to have a beer and people watch, at night the Tap House takes on a life of its own. It reminds me of many of the corner pubs in Europe. Be sure to look for the Writers Stop tribute on the wall.

I will say as the Grand Avenue area of Hollywood Studios expands and Star Wars Galaxies Edge gets finished the Baseline Tap House is going to be an extremely popular location, but no worry if this place gets packed I heard that if you are dining just next door at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant you will have the opportunity in the near future to ask for one of these craft ales while you enjoy your meal. (Please note nothing is official yet)

Overall I really love the Baseline Tap House, if you love craft beers, pub foods, and electric day/nightlife you will love this place as well. Try it out and let me know which craft beer is your favorite!
