The Disney Christmas Season is officially here as today marks the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which will kick off at the Magic Kingdom this evening. One of our favorite things about the party each year has to be the amazing seasonal treats you’ll find throughout the parks. For those heading to one of Mickey’s holiday bashes over the next month here are just a few of the delectable treats you’ll find there!
Mickey Shaped Cinnamon Roll – (pictured) This Mickey-shaped treat is decorated with red and green icing and has a giant white chocolate snowflake at it’s center. You’ll find this scrumptious taste of the season at Main Street Bakery. This item is available daily from November 9 – December 22nd.
Peppermint Cupcake – This delicious goody is comprised of a red velvet cupcake filled with peppermint mousse and topped with cream cheese buttercream, peppermint sprinkles and peppermint bark. You’ll also find it at Main Street Bakery. This is another treat that will be served up both during and outside of the party from November 9 – December 22nd.
Peppermint Ice Cream Sundae – Both Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and Storybook Treats will also be serving up a peppermint ice cream sundae that will be available during the day as well as during party hours. Look for yours between November 9 – December 22nd.
Raspberry Yule Log Dessert – This bright and festive treat is made up of white chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, cassis pate de fruit and a chocolate flourless cake. It is then covered with a red glaze, striped with white chocolate and topped with a garnish featuring Mickey and Minnie. This treat is also gluten-free and is only available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Chocolate Yule Log – If chocolate is more your thing then you’ll want to head on over to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. This version of the holiday yule log features chocolate mousse, chocolate ganache and a strip featuring Chip and Dale and Donald Duck. This treat is also gluten-free. You’ll find this log available only during the Christmas Party.
Enchanted Christmas Belle Dessert – Another fantastic gluten-free option, you’ll find this lovely Belle-shaped treat at Gastons Tavern. Its made up of a flourless chocolate cake filled with white chocolate peppermint mousse and covered in a yellow glaze with a chocolate garnish featuring Belle dressed up in her holiday best. Belle will only make an appearance during party hours.
Tinker Bell Christmas Dessert – If Tink is more your style you’ll find a similar treat being served up at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe featuring chocolate peppermint mousse, raspberry mousse and dark chocolate mousse with a flourless chocolate cake bottom. Its covered in green glaze and garnished with a Tinker Bell chocolate piece. Pop on over during party hours to pick up yours.
Sandy Claws Cake Push Pop – What would Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party be without a visit from Sandy Claws? His dessert this year features layers of orange vanilla cake, cranberry mousse, white crispy pearls, cream cheese buttercream and holiday sprinkles. The treat is then topped with a chocolate piece featuring Sandy Claws himself. You’ll find him at Sleepy Hollow.
Red Velvet Mickey Waffles – Also available at Sleepy Hollow, this gorgeous dessert features Mickey waffles with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and holiday sprinkles and is available during party hours.
Scrooge McDuck Eggnog Custard – Attention all Eggnog lovers, you’ll find this custard dessert during party hours at Storybook Treats. Its topped with a spiced chocolate cake, meringue and an edible Scrooge McDuck gold coin.
