“Disney Hercules” Production Heats Up for Disney Destiny

Get ready to go from zero to hero! The Broadway-style stage show “Disney Hercules,” set to debut exclusively on the Disney Destiny, is now in full production. Earlier this month, the talented team from Disney Live Entertainment journeyed to Nashville, Tennessee, to record the show’s incredible music, bringing the myth to life with every note.

A small group of singers from Orlando, Fla. joined forces with a 17-voice choir of some of Nashville’s greatest gospel singers to reimagine the iconic soundtrack from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film with a soulful, high-energy twist. A fresh take on the musical arrangements was brought to life by an orchestra of nearly 70 talented musicians, plus a 10-piece marching band drumline.

The group dedicated more than 50 hours to producing the 55-minute soundtrack for the show, which includes an all-new theatrical rendition of “Shooting Star” – a song originally written for the film that didn’t make the final cut! With the music complete, the team will continue developing show elements like props, choreography and costumes in preparation for future cruise guests this November.

New Stitch Beach Photo Op Washes Ashore at Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs

Just in time to embrace the warm Florida weather, a delightful new beach photo opportunity featuring everyone’s favorite mischievous alien, Stitch, has arrived at Disney’s PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs. This vibrant new backdrop offers guests a perfect way to capture some summer fun during their visit.

The Disney PhotoPass Studio, conveniently nestled between the Arribas Brothers store and the Marketplace Co-op in Disney Springs, welcomes guests daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. No reservations are needed to step into this photographic paradise, where Disney PhotoPass photographers are on hand to snap memorable shots in front of a variety of themed backdrops. Known for its rotating themed backdrops that frequently change to match the current season or upcoming holidays, the PhotoPass Studio has once again transformed its space. Previously, a charming rose-filled backdrop inspired by “Alice in Wonderland” graced the studio just before Valentine’s Day. Now, with summer on the horizon, the studio has fully embraced a tropical beach setting.

The new backdrop immerses guests in a serene seaside scene. A bright blue sky stretches overhead, meeting distant ocean waves, while the ground is cleverly covered with a sand-colored tarp, giving the illusion of a sandy beach. Adding to the authentic beach vibe are a variety of playful props. Guests will spot a charming Cinderella Castle sculpted from sand, “Mickey’s Surf Co.” surfboards, and an assortment of colorful pool floaties. Universal Orlando to Include Epic Universe in Park-to-Park Tickets for 2026

Universal Orlando Resort is officially integrating its highly anticipated new theme park into its broader resort experience. Starting in 2026, guests will be able to include Universal Epic Universe in multi-day Park-to-Park tickets, allowing them to “hop” between all three Universal theme parks.

The new ticket details have emerged as part of vacation package bookings for travel beginning after January 2026. According to the updated information, several Park-to-Park ticket options (including 3, 4, 5, and 14-day versions) will grant admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Epic Universe. A 3-day adult Park-to-Park ticket, for example, is currently listed as starting at $520.79.

This marks a significant strategy shift from the initial ticket offerings, which only allowed for a standalone 1-day Epic Universe ticket or adding a single day to an existing multi-day ticket. The new structure suggests guests will have much greater flexibility, with the ability to visit the new park on multiple days or even move between Epic Universe and the other parks on the same day.

Base tickets, which allow entry to one park per day, will also be available with Epic Universe as an option, starting at $456.88 for a 3-day adult ticket. While these new ticket structures offer more freedom for guests planning their 2026 vacations, Universal has not yet announced how Epic Universe will be integrated into its Annual Pass program.
