This mug is practically a work of art, featuring sticker-like artwork that pops against its crisp white background. You’ll also find a “Toy Story” alien and Pizza Planet logo chilling next to a slice of pizza, a pair of sunglasses next to a flower, and an orange lightsaber crossing over the Millennium Falcon, clearly repping Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Even though Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy closed last year, and there’s no more “Cars” in the park, Lightning is still pictured with his number 95 emblem and a checkered flag, a neat little throwback! The Boneyard to Close Forever This September as Animal Kingdom’s Tropical Americas Expansion Begins

DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is preparing for its next major transformation as The Boneyard, a popular playground attraction, has set its permanent closing date. This marks a significant step in making way for the highly anticipated Tropical Americas expansion.

According to official announcements from Disney, The Boneyard will close its gates forever on September 1, 2025. The very next day, September 2, is slated to commence the second phase of construction on the immersive Tropical Americas land, which is designed to entirely replace the existing DinoLand U.S.A. area.

While the prehistoric playground will be missed, Disney has offered some reassurance for families with young adventurers. The upcoming Tropical Americas land is confirmed to include a brand-new playground area specifically designed for small children upon its opening. While specific details regarding the new play area’s theme or features have yet to be revealed, its inclusion ensures that Animal Kingdom will continue to offer dedicated spaces for its youngest explorers.

Further closures within DinoLand U.S.A. to facilitate the Tropical Americas expansion, including the popular Restaurantosaurus and the thrilling DINOSAUR attraction, will be announced at a later date. Disney had previously indicated that the DINOSAUR ride is expected to remain operational throughout all of 2025 before its eventual closure for retheming into an exciting Indiana Jones attraction.

As you cross the bridge from Seuss Landing into The Lost Continent, you’re greeted by a full-sized Stormfly—the bright and spiky Deadly Nadder companion of Astrid—perched dramatically above the entrance. Hanging below her? A hand-carved wooden “How to Train Your Dragon” sign to set the tone.

Once inside, it’s clear Berk has taken over. Lanterns and banners flutter with Viking flair, colorful dragon murals decorate storefronts, and medieval-style signage beckons guests to “Dragon Training.” The Heraldry shop now boasts dragon species stats, crests, and battle gear galore, including nods to the live-action movie which opened on June 13.

While the bar itself reopened back in April after a brief refurbishment, the signature centerpiece of the space had been notably absent… until now. As of May 29, 2025, the iconic Hemisphere Dancer is once again parked proudly to the right of the bar’s seating area—looking refreshed, recharged, and ready for your next island adventure selfie. From a distance, the plane appears unchanged, but those with a keen eye will notice its paint job now sports a brighter, cleaner finish. It’s a subtle glow-up worthy of Margaritaville legend.

The Hemisphere Dancer isn’t just any plane—it’s Jimmy Buffett’s actual seaplane, steeped in stories and song lyrics, and long a landmark of Lone Palm’s laid-back tropical vibes. Its return marks the full completion of the bar’s refresh, which began with a construction closure back in March and slowly phased back into normal operations throughout spring.

And let’s be honest, it just didn’t feel quite like “five o’clock somewhere” without her.

M3GAN—the pint-sized powerhouse of high-tech horror—is back at Universal Orlando Resort, and she’s slaying more than just dance moves this summer. In celebration of M3GAN 2.0, the android icon is making limited-time appearances now through June 30 at Universal Studios Florida, and trust us—she hasn’t skipped leg day.

Much like her viral debut during Halloween Horror Nights 32, M3GAN returns with her choreographed crew for unannounced performances throughout the day. That’s right—there’s no posted schedule and no warning. Universal teases, “M3GAN might appear at any moment, day or night,” which is pretty on-brand for a robot with zero chill.

Here’s what you need to know:

Dancing Horde: Six synchronized M3GANs take the stage (or rather, the street) for a deadly dance break.
Meet & Greet: After each mini-performance, three M3GANs stick around for small group photo ops outside the Horror Make-Up Show.
