Opening May 26 as part of Cool Kids’ Summer, Bluey’s Wild World will completely transform Conservation Station with interactive games, Australian animals, themed treats, exclusive merchandise, and even a virtual queue system.

Yes, you read that right. You will need to join a virtual queue just to visit Conservation Station during the initial launch period.

Guests can request a boarding group through the My Disney Experience app at either 7 a.m. or 10 a.m. The 7 a.m. drop only requires valid Animal Kingdom admission, while the 10 a.m. drop requires guests to physically be inside the park. Disney says standby access may come later, but for now, virtual queue is the only way in.

The experience begins with a ride aboard the Wildlife Express Train before guests arrive at the newly reimagined Conservation Station, which has officially dropped the Rafiki’s Planet Watch branding.

According to the audition posting, interested performers must submit applications by 11:59 p.m. EST on May 18. Those selected will need to be available for rehearsals from mid-October through mid-November, with performances running throughout the holiday season.

A new Notice of Commencement permit filed for the Tomorrowland bridge lists D.H. Griffin Wrecking Company as the contractor for the project. While the permit itself only describes the work as “general construction,” the involvement of a company known for demolition and large-scale structural work has sparked speculation that this could be more than a simple refresh.

The Tomorrowland bridge, which connects the central hub area near Cinderella Castle to Tomorrowland, has already been surrounded by ongoing repainting and refurbishment work in recent months as part of the larger castle-area refresh. Disney also updated the pavement on the bridge back in 2021, making a complete teardown seem unlikely.

Still, the choice of contractor is definitely interesting.

D.H. When Conservation Station reopens as part of Bluey’s Wild World on May 26, guests will be able to “see kangaroos and wallabies in a new shared habitat,” according to Disney. Noticeably absent from the announcement was any mention of touching, feeding, or interacting with the animals up close.
