Brie Larson and Chris Evans Want to be in Kevin Feige’s Star Wars Story. It’s been a weird week in Disney Entertainment. Spider-Man is back in the MCU, Kevin Feige will be producing a new Star Wars Story for Lucasfilm, and now two Marvel Stars want to join the Star Wars Universe!

News broke this week that Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, will be collaborating with Lucasfilm President, Kathleen Kennedy to develop and produce a new Star Wars Story after a meeting between the two and Disney Studios Chief, Alan Horn.

“We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company including Children of Blood and Bone with Emma Watts and Fox,” Horn said in a statement. “With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Warsfilm together.”

Fans and cast alike were excited about the news and both “Captain’s” from Marvel Studios want their shot at joining the Star Wars Universe, possibly in Feige’s new Star Wars Story.

Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame‘s Brie Larson shared a special story about Samuel L Jackson (Nick Fury) that sparked her interest in becoming a Jedi. “I got to hold his [Jackson] lightsaber!” Larson exclaimed in an interview earlier this year. “He [Jackson] brought it to me on set on May the 4th, and I cried. It was so cool. I wanna be a Jedi.”

Now with his time at Marvel seemingly over, Chris Evans has his share of free time at the moment to move on to other projects and has thrown his cap and shield into the ring for a chance at being cast for a Star Wars Story.

Evans responded to Collider’s question on Twitter: “Which MCU actor would you like to see pop up in a #StarWars movie?” To which the simply and brilliantly replied: “Me.”

Collider seemed to love this answer and posted a Kermit the Frog meme saying the famous Emperor Palpatine line “Do it.”

We would love to see Brie Larson, Chris Evans, or both appear in a future Star Wars film and it never hurts to have work experience with the producer either! Larson and Evans would hardly be the first MCU actors to be seen in a Star Wars film. Actors such as Samuel L. Jackson (Mace Windu/Nick Fury), Paul Bettany (J.A.R.V.I.S./Vision/Drryden Vos), Ben Mendelsohn (Talos/Director Krennic), and Peter Serafinowicz (Voice of Darth Maul/ Garthan Saal, Nova Corp) have all made appearances in both Star Wars Films and films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Mandalorian Producer, Jon Favreau, has also directed Marvel’s Iron Man and starred in the Marvel films as Happy Hogan, Tony Stark’s best friend and boy guard.

Lucasfilm will be shifting the focus of the Star Wars Universe away from the Skywalker’s for a while after the release of Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, set to release December 20, 2019. After the completion of the Skywalker Saga (Episode 1-9), Lucasfilm will be focusing on other stories within the Star Wars Universe, some stories taking place a long time before Episode 1 and possibly new stories taking place a long, long time after the events of Episode 9. All puns intended.

Currently in production for Star Wars is The Mandalorian and a new season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and an untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor, and an untitled series about Rogue One‘s Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and K2-SO (Alan Tudyk) on Disney+. No other films or titles have been confirmed for production at the time of writing.

Marvel Studios Kevin Feige Producing New Star Wars Story for Lucasfilm. This is not the logo you are used to seeing with Kevin Feige. So here’s what’s happening.

Reportedly, Kevin Feige will be stepping in to help tell new Star Wars Stories with Lucasfilm and Kathleen Kennedy. This all started when Disney Studios chief, Alan Horn, Lucasfilm President, Kathleen Kennedy, and Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige all met together earlier this year.

Normally, Disney keeps a rather tight lip about these sort of rumors, but this time they were happy to share the news with The Hollywood Reporter about their excitement for the collaboration.

“We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company including Children of Blood and Bone with Emma Watts and Fox,” Horn said in a statement to THR. “With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Warsfilm together.”

Currently, there is no context for Feige’s involvement other than both Horn and Kennedy loved an idea Feige presented during their meeting and his intention to be a producer for the film or series, but with his unprecedented success at Marvel Studios, this may just be the boost Lucasfilm and Star Wars need following the theatrical flop of Solo: A Star Wars Story. Though there seems to be some renewed interest for the film after the films digital release.

It is currently unknown if the film or possible series, would premiere on Disney+, like The Mandalorian, or get a theatrical release.

Disney changing way the way they do drop offs for Stroller & Scooter Deliveries

According to a video from Kingdom Strollers today Disney will be changing the way they handle Stroller & Scooter deliveries for guests staying at the Disney World Resorts starting on October 1st, 2019.

No longer will outside vendors be allowed to leave items with Bell Services to be picked up at a later time.

Starting on October 1st, guests staying at a Disney World Resort will need to be present for their deliveries. This change applies to all Stroller & Scooter Rentals. The new policy is going to affect all small business owners and guests who will now need to be present for the exchange.

Garden Grocer has released an official statement concerning Grocery Delivery:

No official word has been posted on the Disney World website but I imagine it will only be a matter of time.

Virgin Atlantic Showcases “Millennium Falcon” Plane

Virgin Atlantic has just unveiled a new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge aircraft wrap on one of its Boeing 747’s!
The themed plane will transport guests from London Gatwick Airport to Orlando, Florida which is one of two Galaxy’s Edge destinations.

The aircraft has been named “The Falcon” because it showcases Han Solo’s fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. The plane forms part of Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays’ celebrations of SWGE.

Virgin Holidays has also launched “The Ultimate Virgin Holidays Star Wars Experience” along with “The Falcon”. This experience is a themed holiday trip to Walt Disney World on February 15th -22nd, 2020.

Virgin Holidays has also launched a social media competition to celebrate the plane entering flight operations today. The competition encourages members of the public who spot the plane to take a photo and share it on their social media account for a chance to win two seats on board “The Ultimate Virgin Holidays Star Wars Experience”.

Anyone who spot’s “The Falcon” must share a photo on their personal Instagram account and tag both Virgin Holidays and Virgin Atlantic. They must also hashtag #TheFalcon in the photo caption. Entries must be posted by Wednesday, October 9th to be entered to win.

Managing director of Virgin Holidays, Joe Thompson, said, “We are incredibly proud to see ‘The Falcon’ take flight, featuring the iconic Millennium Falcon from the much-loved Star Wars saga, as it wings passengers to experience the thrilling, new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Over the last three decades, we have taken millions of British holiday-makers to enjoy the magic of Disney and we know that so many of our customers have been excited about planning their trip to experience this new land. We hope those lucky enough to board ‘The Falcon’ will enjoy their journey with us, even more.”

The film used to wrap the aircraft could cover four tennis courts and the decal is 44 meters from end to end! The wrap took an entire three weeks to print!

Heidi Klum Designer Ears For Disney Parks Makes Their Debut

The new Heidi Klum Designer Ears make their debut this Saturday, September 28! Heidi Klum who is a major Disney fan, will be debuting her very own design of limited-release Minnie Mouse ears at Disneyland Resort! She will be on hand for a special appearance and signing at The Disney Dress Shop in the Downtown Disney District from 2pm to 4pm PST.

The headband, which will be available at select locations at Disneyland Resort, will also be found at Walt Disney World Resort, and on ShopDisney.com.

“Bedazzling the most famous ears in the world is like a dream come true for me. I am still pinching myself,” said Heidi Klum. “To all Mickey and Minnie fans–I hope you love wearing them as much as I do.”

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Agree to One More Spider-Man Film Together! Both Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have agreed to release at least one more Spider-Man film together to complete Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Trilogy, but it may lead to the end of Spider-Man in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).

“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it,” said Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige. “Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”

According to both studios, the main cast from the first two films are expected to return for the third Spider-Man movie, including: Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Zendaya (MJ), Marissa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Battalon (Ned), and Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), with Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige set sa Producers and director Jon Watts returning for this collaboration.

Just because Spider-Man may not continue in the MCU after this third film does not mean Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is done just yet. Sony does still have plans for the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, even after their collaboration with Disney and Marvel is over.

“Peter Parker’s story took a dramatic turn in Far From Home and I could not be happier we will all be working together as we see where his journey goes,” said Producer, Amy Pascal. “This has been a winning partnership for the studios, the franchise and the fans and I’m overjoyed it will continue.”

Sony has yet to release a formal statement regarding the 3rd Spider-Man led film with Marvel Studios, but we should hear from the studio soon regarding the agreement. According to Comicbook.com, the third Spider-Man film is set for a theatrical release July 16, 2021.

Dooney & Bourke was one of the first designer collections from Disney I remember falling in love with. Epcot Experience To Open Early For Cast Member Preview

Back in August, we broke the news about all of the exciting new changes being brought to Epcot. This was announced at the D23 Expo and is regarded as being the biggest transformation of any Disney park in history.

One of these new installments is, Walt Disney Imagineering presents the Epcot Experience. This will showcase the innovation driving the park’s transformation over the coming years. Of course, the incredible cast members will be the first to preview it. Starting Saturday, September 28th they will be able to: “Discover engaging and interactive exhibits that allow them to step inside the relentless innovation, energy, and excitement and see some never-before-revealed details driving the future of Epcot.”

The experience will be open to the public starting on October 1st.
