Get ready, devil hunters—Universal Studios Hollywood has confirmed that Chainsaw Man: The Chaos will debut at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights 2025, bringing one of Japan’s most action-packed anime experiences stateside for the first time.

The announcement came via the official HHN Hollywood Instagram account, teasing fans with a chilling tagline: “Lose yourself in a wild original storyline as Denji, Aki, Power, Kobeni, and others battle the Halloween Horror Nights Devil who commands an army of zombies.”

From Japan to Hollywood

This show first premiered at Universal Studios Japan’s Halloween Horror Nights 2024, where it ran as a 4-D film in the Cinema 4-D Theater complete with wind, water, and vibration effects. While Hollywood has confirmed the show will take over the DreamWorks Theater, it has not been confirmed whether those same 4-D effects will be used, or if the presentation will be a standard film screening.

Hollywood has previously imported anime specials from Japan, most recently with Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed during Fan Fest Nights in 2025. That presentation was a direct adaptation of the Japanese version, just translated into English and stripped of the 4-D features. All signs point to Chainsaw Man following a similar format.

What to Expect in Chainsaw Man: The Chaos

Fans can expect to see Denji—better known as Chainsaw Man—alongside allies Aki, Power, and Kobeni as they face off against a monstrous pumpkin-headed devil leading an army of zombies. The original anime-styled storyline was developed exclusively for HHN, blending over-the-top fight sequences, outrageous visuals, and the dark humor that has made the manga and anime series a global sensation.

For those new to the franchise, Chainsaw Man tells the story of Denji, a down-on-his-luck teen who forms a contract with a chainsaw-wielding devil dog, granting him the ability to transform his limbs into chainsaws to battle other devils. The manga, created by Tatsuki Fujimoto, first ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump before exploding in popularity and receiving a hit anime adaptation in 2022.

This is a notable shift, as both rides were previously excluded from the program. The official Universal Orlando website still lists them as not participating, but the in-app update shows that guests can now skip the standby line with Express at both attractions.

That means these two heavy hitters join the current Express roster at Epic Universe, which includes:

The Beak and Barrel promises to be more than just a tavern—it’s a hideaway steeped in tales of Captain Merry Goldwyn and her feathered first mate, Rummy the parrot. A Pirate’s Den Brought to Life

Every inch of The Beak & Barrel is designed to immerse guests in the life of a swashbuckler. The main tavern hall features massive wooden beams, draped ropes, and tattered sails, with glowing chandeliers crafted from ship timbers and covered in dripping candles. Lanterns cast warm golden light across heavy oak tables, while alcoves glow with blue and red highlights, giving the tavern an eerie, otherworldly atmosphere.

For 70 years, Disneyland has called Anaheim home. To celebrate this anniversary, residents are invited to join the celebration with “70 Happiest Hours in Anaheim.” The festivities will feature exciting events across the city and will kick off on August 20, continuing through August 22, 2025.

Day 1: Aug. 20, 2025

8:00 A.M. – Start the School Year Off with Disney Magic at Crescent Elementary

Kicking off the celebration in style, the fun began at Crescent Elementary School this morning where students and teachers were greeted with a touch of magic. Over 800 students and staff were surprised with a first day of school celebration inspired by The Happiest Place on Earth, including visits from Disney characters, live entertainment, delicious breakfast treats and more.

Each student and staff member also received a plush Mickey Mouse to take home as a reminder of the special day. From a spirit tunnel of Disney VoluntEARS to moments shared with their favorite characters, this first day of school was sure to be one they won’t forget.

Later in the morning, the fun continued at Ponderosa Elementary School, where third and fourth grade students were invited to a special celebration designed just for them.

Feeling hungry? Lunchtime at the Brookhurst Community Center got an extra boost today as local seniors were surprised with a sixties-themed dance party and lunch event.

These residents brought their appetite and outta sight moves to the dance floor in festive fashion as a live band played popular hits of the 1960s, from Motown to girl groups and everything in between. Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland is about to get a major upgrade! Today, Disney has shared an exclusive first look at the new ride vehicles for the highly anticipated overhaul of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. The iconic attraction closed on August 4, 2025, for a significant refurbishment, and these new vehicles are just the beginning of what’s to come in 2026.

The new vehicles, which were unveiled at a media event, have a sleek, Star Command-inspired look, a fresh take on the classic Star Cruiser design. This is a significant change, as the previous vehicles were a piece of Disney history, having been carried over from the former Tomorrowland attraction, Delta Dreamflight, which first debuted in 1972.

Beyond their updated aesthetic, these new vehicles will feature exciting technological improvements. Each ride vehicle will now be equipped with video monitors that display real-time scores, making it easier than ever to track your progress in the battle against Emperor Zurg. These screens will also feature “other exciting features,” which Disney has not yet detailed, sparking curiosity among fans about what new gameplay elements might be in store.

The refurbishment of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is more than just a cosmetic upgrade. Ready to Rock? “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster” is Getting a Muppet Makeover!

Are you ready to ROCK?! If not, you have until next year to prepare, because Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets comes speeding into Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2026. This reimagined attraction will be fueled by the tasty tunes of the Electric Mayhem and the high-speed hijinks of The Muppets.

And even more exciting—we have electrifying new details to share about the colorful cast of characters you’ll meet while hanging around the recording studio.

The Electric Mayhem: One Night Only!

The Electric Mayhem is headlining their biggest Hollywood concert ever! Anyone who’s anyone is in attendance to witness Animal, Dr. Teeth, and the rest of this groove-tastic group rock the house down. There’s just one little problem: the band is nowhere to be found!

Our adventure starts at G-Force Records, where we’re treated to a VIP tour of the legendary rock and roll recording studio. Things might look a little different around this Hollywood institution, as the label has recently come under new management—The Muppets!

Our colorful crew has landed some new digs with just a little help from Scooter’s real estate tycoon uncle, J.P. Grosse (he really puts the “G” in G-Force). Just wait until you see how they’ve made these hallowed halls their own, creating the perfect place to make sweet, sweet Muppet music together!

A Rock ‘n’ Roll Road Trip

With your VIP passes, you’ll be welcomed inside the recording studio, where—wouldn’t you know it—you’ll find the Electric Mayhem cranking out some seriously rocking tunes. Along with the finest audio engineers (all penguins, of course) we’ll see Scooter doing his best to convince Electric Mayhem to stop jamming and get to their increasingly restless fans. But will it be enough to get the band across town and onstage in time?

With the help of our friends at Muppet Labs and a very fast limousine, we’ll take a twisting, turning, and screamingly fun road trip across Hollywood to reach the concert in time. The iconic scenery and landmarks of Tinseltown will feature a Muppet twist. And throughout the journey, you’ll hear the Electric Mayhem playing some of the most iconic rockin’ hits to keep the music and adrenaline pumping. We’re sure G-Force Records will release a concert setlist soon.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Courtyard

For fans of that big—really big, hilariously big—guitar, you’ll be stoked to know that the newest residents of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster are putting their own spin on that ruby red paint job. A vibrant and psychedelic new design will grace the bottom of the guitar (inspired by a classic Muppet car paint job), and the piano motif at the base will feature a golden key as a nod to a certain far-out bandleader, Dr. Teeth.
