First up, you absolute know we have to talk about the new Pride Ear Headband ($36.99). These beauties are crafted from sleek simulated leather featuring bold rainbow stripes wrapped around a bright red band. The coolest detail might actually be on the inside, though, which is lined with a super cozy, rainbow color-blocked velour to keep them from slipping while you tackle the parks. Plus, the white detachable bow is covered in rainbow stripes and tiny Mickey icons, and it easily snaps on and off via a button on the back so you can customize your look.

If you’re looking for the perfect park outfit, the apparel lineup has you totally covered. There is a super casual black heathered Mickey T-Shirt ($36.99) that features the main mouse himself rocking adorable rainbow shorts and shoes, complete with the classic Walt Disney World wordmark resting right below him. For those breezy Florida nights or chilly air-conditioned queues, you can grab the beige pullover Disney Sweatshirt ($59.99). It is beautifully minimal, sporting a clean row of appliques on the left chest, a Mickey glove heart, a classic rainbow Mickey icon, and the iconic Walt Disney World logo.

Naturally, a Disney merch drop wouldn’t be complete without some serious flair for the pin traders out there. This collection lets you accessorize with a handful of gorgeous new pins, including Mickey’s hands forming a classic heart shape, a standalone pride Mickey pin, and a dazzling rhinestone-encrusted Mickey icon that catches the light beautifully in full pride colors.

Whether you are hitting up Magic Kingdom or Disney Springs, these pieces are the ultimate way to show your true colors in the happiest place on earth!

The front keeps things beautifully subtle and classic. Resting right over your heart is the iconic Walt Disney World “D” resort logo, given a whimsical upgrade with a tiny Mickey ear hat perched perfectly on top. Just below that, you’ll find a clean “Est. 1971” nod to the park’s opening year. It gives the front a sweet, vintage-inspired look that doesn’t overwhelm the eye, keeping the focus on that beautiful, crisp mint fabric.

Mint Green Disney World Spirit Jersey

But turn around, because the back is where this jersey goes full-on magical chaos in the best way possible! Spanning from shoulder to shoulder, the giant, signature “Walt Disney World” logo is entirely surrounded by a vibrant treasure trove of park icons. It is basically a “Where’s Waldo?” of Disney magic, featuring everything from a Mickey balloon, a classic teacup, a Mickey pretzel, and a carousel horse to a refreshing Dole Whip, a Mickey Premium Bar, and Tinker Bell floating by. There’s even a nod to classic attractions with the smiling clock face from “it’s a small world,” a green Toy Story army man, Dumbo, and Spaceship Earth.

Disney didn’t stop at the classics, either. The artwork beautifully blends different park eras, highlighting Cinderella Castle in its lovely current pink era alongside pop-culture favorites like the Pixar ball, the Millennium Falcon, and zooming Star Wars ships. Because the background is such a clean, soft pastel green, all these colorful illustrations pop beautifully without looking overcrowded. If you’re ready to wear your favorite treats, rides, and galaxy-far-away memories all at once, keep your eyes peeled for this beauty on your next merch crawl through the parks!

Bluey Merchandise

If your shelves are more about collectibles, you’ve got to check out the $14.99 figurine series. They feature the characters in some of their funniest, most iconic show moments. There’s Chilli rocking a rainbow cloak and a gold crown, Bluey in a sci-fi outfit with a blaster, and Muffin in her legendary “Granny” glasses and satchel. Even Bandit gets the superstar treatment, sporting a pink boa, antlers, and purple makeup drawn on his face. Bingo is there too, wearing a party hat and holding that infamous duck cake and if you’re lucky, you might just snag her rare chase variant!

To accessorize your park day, Disney has rolled out some seriously adorable jewelry. There is a $16.99 charm three-pack featuring Bluey in Mickey ears, Bingo in Minnie ears, and a Fantasyland Castle floating with a red Mickey balloon. You can also match with your own best mate using the $21.99 friendship bracelet set. It comes with two corded bracelets that match the sisters’ fur colors (light blue for Bluey, orange for Bingo), complete with the pups wearing their Disney ears on circular charms.

When it comes to beating the Florida weather, the headwear and jackets have you totally covered. For the kiddos, there’s a light blue Bluey Castle Youth Cap ($26.99) featuring a patch of Bluey jumping for joy in front of a fireworks-lit castle. If you prefer a 360-degree brim, the $22.99 Youth Bucket Hat shows the girls playing with a Mickey bubble wand on top. And since afternoon rainstorms are a staple at Animal Kingdom, the $44.99 teal, packable Youth Raincoat is an absolute must-have. It’s covered in an adorable pattern of Disney castles, balloons, and the sisters exploring the parks.

Finally, the t-shirt and hoodie game is incredibly strong for both kids and adults. The youth collection includes a simple, classic light blue Bluey tee ($29.99). Parents can get in on the fun too! There is a stunning, colorful purple, yellow, and blue tie-dye Heeler Family tee for $36.99 that features the whole gang in front of the castle.

For individual parent style, they can match Bandit’s energy with a $64.99 light blue hoodie showing him dancing. Rounding out the apparel are the matching adult ($32.99) and youth ($24.99) logo tees, which show Bluey and Bingo chasing bubbles past a periwinkle Disney World logo. If your kiddo prefers a cozy layer without the rain jacket, there’s also a heather grey youth sweatshirt ($44.99) featuring the sisters embroidered while playing with blocks.

This collection is the perfect mashup of two worlds, so make sure to swing by the shops during your next Animal Kingdom safari before it all sells out!

Disney Announces Closing Date and New Scenes for Massive Carousel of Progress Overhaul

Disney Announces Closing Date and New Scenes for Massive Carousel of Progress Overhaul

Carousel of Progress Getting Massive Timeline Overhaul and Temporary Closure at Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is preparing for the biggest storyline modernization in its 60-year history. Disney has announced that the classic Tomorrowland attraction will temporarily close its doors on July 6, 2026, to undergo a top-to-bottom transformation, with a grand reopening scheduled for early 2027.

While the rotating theater show has received minor updates over the decades, this upcoming refurbishment will completely shift the timeline of the attraction. Currently, the show begins at the turn of the 20th century. When the new version debuts, the family’s journey will start in 1969, moving through updated eras that modern audiences can easily recognize and remember.

To prepare fans for what is ahead, Disney shared a look back at the incredible evolution of Walt’s ultimate passion project.

WDW Carousel of Progress x

From Edison Square to the New York World Fair

The roots of the Carousel of Progress go all the way back to the 1950s. Walt Disney originally envisioned an extension for Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland called Edison Square. The highlight of the area was meant to be a walkthrough theater experience called “Harnessing the Lightning,” which tracked how electricity changed the daily lives of an American family.

WDW Carousel of Progress x

While Edison Square was never built, the core concept survived. When the 1964–1965 New York World’s Fair came around, Walt and his Imagineers partnered with General Electric to breathe new life into the idea. The result was Progressland, featuring a brand-new rotating theater system and a catchy theme song written by the legendary Sherman Brothers. The show was a massive hit, capturing Walt’s signature sense of optimism and his hands-on creativity.

A Journey From Disneyland to Magic Kingdom

After the World’s Fair wrapped up, the attraction was packed up and moved to Disneyland, where it operated in Tomorrowland from 1967 until 1973. Seeking a fresh home for the theater, Disney moved the show across the country to Walt Disney World, where it officially opened at the Magic Kingdom on January 15, 1975.

Holding the proud record as the longest-running stage show in the history of American theater, the attraction has safely preserved Walt Disney’s personal touch for generations.

What to Expect in the 2027 Modernized Show

Act 1 – the 1960s

When the show first opened at the World’s Fair, its story began by looking back about 60 years to the dawn of the new century. Now more than six decades later, this new iteration mirrors that idea, starting 60 years back from today in the 1960s.

In the summer of 1969, our Carousel family, along with millions around the world, gather around the television to witness one of humanity’s greatest achievements: the historic moon landing. Filled with awe, the moment captures the spirit of innovation and possibility that has always been — and always will be — at the heart of Carousel of Progress.

Act 2 – the 1980s

It’s the ‘80s, where everything bigger is better, and things keep on getting bigger! We pick up with the family on Halloween Night of 1985, and for the first time ever, Sarah is taking center stage. She’ll share how all the new appliances and gadgets are making life easier for the whole family.

Speaking of John, we’ll find him out on the porch handing out candy to trick-or-treaters, and poor Uncle Orville can be found in the bathroom with “no privacy around here!”

Act 3 – The New Millennium

With the ‘90s drawing to a close, our Carousel family is preparing to ring in the new millennium on New Year’s Eve 1999. Amid the excitement of the countdown to 2000, a new thing called the Internet is bringing John, Sarah, Jimmy and Patty – and the world – closer together than ever before.

And if you’re anything like my family, not everyone is making it to midnight. Grandpa has already nodded off before the big countdown, while Grandma sneaks the TV over to wrestling when no one’s looking.

Act 4 – The Possible Future

As we reach the end of our show, we see the family one last time in the distant future, in an out-of-this-world home. From a helpful robot assisting with everyday tasks to space travel, the scene imagines a future where extraordinary innovation has become part of life and proves that a beautiful tomorrow is just a dream away.

To help bring this new finale to life, Imagineers looked back at original concept sketches by Disney Legend John Hench, drawing inspiration from his imaginative vision of the future.

WDW Carousel of Progress

In addition to the timeline shift, the update will fulfill a major promise made at Destination D23 by adding a state-of-the-art Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic to introduce the show.

Guests who want to experience the classic iteration of the show one last time have until the end of the day on July 5, 2026, before the building closes down for construction.

Disney Releases Full Map and Stunning Concept Art for Reimagined Magic of Disney Animation

Exciting changes are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios later this summer as the park prepares for the return of a classic. While the newly reimagined Animation Courtyard is already welcoming guests, Disney has just dropped a brand-new “fun map” and detailed concept art revealing exactly what to expect inside the upcoming Magic of Disney Animation attraction.

Inspired by the Emmy Award-winning short film Once Upon A Studio, the reimagined pavilion is housed in a building designed to mimic the iconic Roy E. Disney Animation Building in California, complete with Mickey Mouse’s giant Sorcerer Hat sitting on top.

Inside, guests will find a massive collection of interactive spaces themed around real animation studio departments—but with a magical twist where Disney characters have completely taken over.

Step Inside a Whimsical Mary Blair Playground at Drawn to Wonderland

For younger guests and families, the map highlights an immersive indoor play area called “Drawn to Wonderland.” This vibrant, climate-controlled space is fully inspired by Disney Legend Mary Blair’s original concept art for Alice in Wonderland.

Little ones can burn off energy running through a hedge maze, sliding down a roller slide, or moving interactive props around the Mad Tea Party table. The land features the distinctive, bold color palettes of Tulgey Wood, the Mad Hatter’s house, and the Queen of Hearts’ rose garden. Best of all for parents, the area includes plenty of seating paired with electronic device charging stations to help you power up while the kids play.

Rapunzel at Off the Page at Disneys Hollywood Studios

Meet Beloved Characters at Off the Page

The back wall of the pavilion will host “Off the Page,” a massive interactive meet-and-greet area designed to showcase different steps of the animation process. Guests will get to pose with their favorite characters, with each specific backdrop highlighting a unique phase of production.

The lineup features an incredible mix of classic and modern characters, including

  • Mulan representing Story
  • Rapunzel representing Layout
  • Chip ‘n’ Dale representing Hand-Drawn Animation
  • Donald and Daisy representing Computer Animation
  • Goofy representing Lighting
  • Stitch representing Effects

Above the character queues, a massive mural will showcase dozens of recognizable and obscure characters. Imagineers have confirmed that every single Walt Disney Animation Studios film will be represented somewhere within the attraction or the surrounding courtyard. Additionally, guests can hang out in a comfortable “reception lounge” that uses the pavilion’s historic glass windows to offer a wide view of all the character meet-and-greets.

Learn to Sketch with an Advanced Olaf Audio-Animatronic

For those looking to brush up on their artistic skills, the previously announced “Olaf Draws!” experience will feature a highly advanced Audio-Animatronics figure of everyone’s favorite snowman sitting at an animator’s desk.

Guests will take a seat and follow step-by-step drawing tutorials recorded by real Disney Animation artists. The rotation of characters you can learn to sketch includes timeless classics and new favorites, such as Genie with animator Eric Goldberg, Moana with story artist Samantha Vilfort, and Mickey Mouse with director Dan Abraham. Original dialogue for the attraction was recorded by Josh Gad specifically to help inspire the next generation of young artists.

DIsney Animation

Experience Extra Magic Inside the Once Upon a Studio Theater

The pavilion will also feature a dedicated theater showing Once Upon A Studio. To make the viewing experience even more special, Disney is adding projection and physical effects to the room, allowing the characters on screen to seamlessly pop up along the theater walls around you.

The attraction will round out with an enchanted art gallery where traditional Disney concept art will secretly spring to life with brand-new, exclusive character animations.

The Magic of Disney Animation is set to officially open its doors to guests later this summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

New Churro Milkshake Lands at Auntie Gravity's in Magic Kingdom

The shake blends vanilla ice cream with salted caramel sauce and tops everything with whipped cream and churro pieces for a drinkable dessert that tastes a bit like someone melted a cinnamon sugar snack cart directly into your cup.

We found the flavor incredibly forward and intensely sweet, especially before mixing. Disney loads much of the caramel syrup toward the bottom, so the first few sips can hit like a sugar-powered Space Mountain launch. Once stirred together, though, the vanilla balances things out considerably and creates a much smoother churro-and-caramel flavor profile.

New Churro Milkshake Lands at Auntie Gravity's in Magic Kingdom

That said, this is definitely not a subtle dessert. If your ideal park snack involves rich caramel, sugary churros, and milkshake-level decadence, you’ll probably love it. If you lean more toward refreshing treats in the Florida heat, this may feel a little heavy for an afternoon in Tomorrowland.

The churro pieces themselves were more decorative than snack-worthy during our visit, but the shake as a whole still delivered exactly what it promises: a creamy, cinnamon-swirled sugar bomb with major dessert energy.

Unlike a traditional character meet-and-greet, Talking Dug can actually respond to guests in real time using the same collar technology from Up, leading to some hilariously unpredictable interactions.
