Winnie the Pooh 90s Collection

Nostalgic Winnie the Pooh 90s Collection at the Disney Store!

Grab your honey pots and get ready for a serious hit of nostalgia! The Disney Store just dropped a Winnie the Pooh 90s Collection, and it’s basically a warm hug in clothing form. If you grew up watching the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh on Saturday mornings, this drop is going to speak directly to your soul and your wallet. From distressed denim to cozy fleece, it’s all about those classic, breezy Hundred Acre Wood vibes.

First up, let’s talk about the Winnie the Pooh Denim Hooded Jacket ($79.99). It’s a total throwback denim bomber that captures Pooh in a bit of a pickle, literally. The back features an embroidered appliqué of our favorite bear of very little brain realizing his stitching is coming undone. It’s got a lined hood and a full zip to keep you cozy, whether you’re dodging Heffalumps or just heading to the grocery store. Honestly, the bothered Pooh aesthetic is a whole mood for 2026.

If you’re looking to lean into the young-at-heart look, the Winnie the Pooh and Pals Pullover ($69.99) is a must-have. It features the core four, Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore, framed in a super cute floral daisy chain. It’s heathered on the outside and fleece on the inside, which is basically code for you’ll never want to take this off. For something a bit more active, they’ve also released a Winnie the Pooh Basketball Shirt ($64.99). It’s a legit jersey style that celebrates Pooh’s 100th anniversary with a big 100 on the back. It’s sporty, it’s retro, and let’s be real, it’s a total slam dunk.

For those who prefer a midnight smackerel in the comfort of their own home, the Short Sleep Set ($59.99) is calling your name. It’s covered in an allover Pooh pattern and made from that buttery-soft, stretchy fabric that’s perfect for long naps. And you can’t head out on an expedition without the Winnie the Pooh and Pals Backpack ($39.99). It’s surprisingly practical with a padded interior sleeve for your tech, but the embroidered appliqué of the whole gang on the front keeps it looking whimsical.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just love that 90s aesthetic, this collection is the perfect way to carry a little piece of the Hundred Acre Wood with you. Which piece are you grabbing first?

New Entrance Sign for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland

Attention, Space Rangers! We have our first official look at the brand-new entrance marquee for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. This stellar update in Tomorrowland marks a major milestone as the attraction prepares to welcome recruits back to the Galactic Alliance. The sleek new design perfectly captures the retro-futuristic aesthetic of Star Command, ensuring every Junior Space Ranger knows exactly where to report for duty to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg!

Buzz Lightyear

The wait is nearly over! This iconic Tomorrowland attraction, which has been closed for a major refurbishment since August 2025, is finally counting down to its grand return. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 8th, when the doors officially reopen to welcome guests back to the Galactic Alliance!

att VJjGlgthnweCepStAEziFfSCEHpm lapEJU

The updated marquee offers a significantly more dimensional look than its predecessor, blending seamlessly into the surrounding Tomorrowland landscape. By utilizing layered panels, robust framing, and vibrant edge lighting, the design achieves a striking depth that pops both day and night. This added architectural structure transforms the entrance from a simple sign into what feels like a functional Star Command base, fully immersing recruits before they even step inside.

att bYDBxMlJNJtuMifcRApPNOQJITUThTXawmttE D

The updated marquee embraces a cleaner, more modern sci-fi aesthetic that perfectly aligns with the evolving look of Tomorrowland. While it leans into a more sophisticated design, it still retains those playful Buzz Lightyear touches that fans adore, striking the ideal balance between sleek futuristic architecture and the whimsical charm of Star Command.

Are you excited for the updated version of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin to open?

Closer Look at the Construction for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Queue

Refurbishment work continues apace on the “wildest ride in the wilderness” ahead of its highly anticipated reopening this May. On a recent visit to Magic Kingdom, we stopped by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland for a closer look at the progress of the extensive overhaul before it welcomes guests back later this spring.

Scaffolding Comes Down

In a significant update from last week, it appears that major structural work on the mountain itself is winding down. The dense network of scaffolding that has shrouded the attraction for months has finally been removed, revealing a refreshed landscape. This milestone suggests that the “mountain-top to cavern-deep” aesthetic work—including the addition of gold props and a reimagined Rainbow Caverns scene—is largely complete.

Focus Shifts to the Queue

Elsewhere within the attraction’s footprint, the focus has clearly shifted to the guest experience on the ground. We noticed temporary construction walls erected around the old fencing that lines the outdoor queue. Peering past these barriers, visible on the interior-facing side, are floodlights, stacked building materials, and additional safety fencing.

The concentrated activity in this area suggests that the queue is the final order of business in the broader scope of this year-long refurbishment. The interior portion of the Big Thunder queue is famous for its interactive elements, such as the explosive plungers and hand-cranked animations. While it remains unknown if these specific features are being updated or replaced, the scale of the work implies a thorough refresh of the waiting area to match the ride’s new “magic.”

New Signage on the Horizon

Earlier this month, Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit to “install signage” at the attraction. The permit contracts Design Communications Ltd., a firm known for high-profile Disney projects, including the upcoming “The Walt Disney Studios” sign at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Just this week, a refreshed main entrance sign was spotted being installed, featuring more vibrant “goldenrod” lettering and crisp orange outlines, giving the landmark a much-needed pop of color.

What to Expect at Reopening

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently scheduled to reopen in early May 2026 after being closed since January of last year. When the trains finally depart the station again, guests can look forward to:

  • A Complete Track Replacement: Ensuring a significantly smoother ride through the desert landscape.
  • Updated Show Scenes: A total transformation of the Rainbow Caverns with new phosphorescent effects.
  • Refreshed Audio-Animatronics: Modernized figures and restored effects that have been dormant for years.

As the finishing touches are applied to the queue and surrounding concrete work, Frontierland is one step closer to losing its construction walls and regaining its most iconic coaster. Stay tuned for official reopening dates and potential soft openings as we head into May!

The new look leans hard into Buzz’s signature green and purple color scheme, with crisp lines, brighter lighting, and a much more modern Star Command vibe. Even behind the walls, it was clear this wasn’t just a touch-up… it was a full refresh worthy of a Space Ranger upgrade.

New Permit Filed for Wizarding World Expansion Building at Epic Universe

Something magical is quietly brewing behind the scenes at Universal Epic Universe, and this time, it is not just spellwork. Universal Orlando has filed a new permit that hints at continued expansion within the upcoming Wizarding World area, specifically tied to the Ministry of Magic section of the park.

Universal Files New Construction Permit for the Wizarding World at Epic Universe

The permit, filed by Baker Barrios Architects with construction led by The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, calls for a “pre-engineered metal building” or PEMB. In plain Muggle terms, that means a structure built offsite and assembled quickly onsite, often used for backstage or support facilities. While the permit lists a general Epic Universe address, all signs point to this work happening behind the scenes of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, where construction has already been underway since late last year.

This isn’t the first breadcrumb in Universal’s expansion trail. Back in December, permits tied to a massive 150,000-square-foot project revealed internal code “P905,” now confirmed as the Ministry of Magic land. Around the same time, work also kicked off on a rumored events pavilion near Super Nintendo World. Add in a recently filed and quickly pulled “future attraction” permit, and it is clear Universal is already thinking beyond opening day.

Retaining Wall Rises Higher in New Aerial Look at Piston Peak Construction in Magic Kingdom

Frontierland’s future is getting easier to read from the sky. New aerial photos of Piston Peak National Park from X user bioreconstruct show Disney making major progress on the large retaining wall that will help shape the new water feature winding along the southern edge of the Cars-themed expansion. The site is still very much a giant dirt-and-concrete puzzle, but the latest images make it clear that the outline of this new land is starting to come into focus.

The most eye-catching work right now is happening along the perimeter closest to the Frontierland boardwalk, where the retaining wall continues to stretch across the project site in a long, curving line. In these new views, you can see just how much of that border has now taken shape, especially near the area between Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Haunted Mansion.

The wall appears to be defining the future “calming waterway” Disney has described for the land, while the rest of the site remains a massive graded construction zone waiting for its next layer of work. From above, it is also easy to spot how much room is being prepared for future foundations, ride infrastructure, and the themed terrain that will eventually transform this into Piston Peak National Park.

The photos also show that Disney is still pushing forward near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which makes plenty of sense given the attraction’s expected reopening in the coming weeks. Once this retaining wall work is far enough along, the next big phase will likely be filling and grading the interior space so crews can begin building upward instead of simply carving and containing the land.

Right now, Piston Peak looks more like Radiator Springs met a construction permit, but these aerials show real progress and a clearer sense of how Disney plans to reshape this corner of Magic Kingdom.

Disney Springs Limits Resort Bus Access During Busy Easter Season

If you were planning to hop from Disney Springs over to a Disney Resort hotel just for a quick visit, you may hit a bit of a roadblock this week. Walt Disney World has quietly rolled out a temporary policy requiring guests to verify a valid reservation before boarding buses from Disney Springs to any resort hotel.

Related: Disney World Closures and Refurbishments for April 2026 and Beyond

Disney Springs Buses Now Verifying Resort Reservations for Boarding

Cast Members stationed at the Disney Springs bus loop are now scanning MagicBands or reservation details to confirm you have a legitimate reason to travel. To board, you’ll need one of the following: an active resort stay, a confirmed dining reservation, or a booked recreation experience like a fireworks cruise. No reservation, no ride. It’s as simple as that.

This move comes as crowds swell for the busy Easter season, with Disney aiming to prevent guests from using Disney Springs as a free parking hub while heading elsewhere on property. It’s not the first time we’ve seen this enforcement either. Similar measures were put in place during the New Year’s holiday rush. For now, this policy only impacts buses traveling from Disney Springs to resort hotels, while other Disney transportation options across property continue operating as usual.
